The bank specializes in these kinds of loans and told me they would handle everything. Almost three months into the loan and they still have not done any work to obtain the title. At best they ask vague questions just to the BMV just to make a note that they called. They literally told me they couldn't find the title and I told them numerous times what state the title was in. I ended up needing to file against them with the Ohio Attorney General's office per the BMV to get on an exception list so I can renew my tags. I was not added to the exception list and WPCU has neglected to submit the title paperwork to Ohio for me to get car plates. I had to make almost every single call to the BMV to find out next steps. I went to the BMV only to find out I was never added to the list so now I have a car that I cannot get tags for or plates because WPCU has neglected to file the necessary paperwork when they know where the title is and how to get it. They refuse to contact the Attorney General Office to request i'm added to the list to make this right. Additionally, i reported this incident to consumer affairs who regulates them. They have failed me as a consumer. I trusted them, and this contract for a car they cannot even secure at this point is baffling. The audacity to refuse to place my loan in a 0% interest deferment due to their negligence is impressive. I have told them numerous times where the title is and in what state and I have verified this information upwards of 10+ times and they fail to document it. Additionally, they have failed to even attempt to resolve this issue by filing the needed court paperwork because they say they cannot. They have POA paperwork from the previous owner so that is simply untrue. They can literally file the paperwork to secure the title. They want ME to pay the cost to secure the title from another state. Their are unwilling to come to a resolution. I feel bullied by this corporation in their half-hearted vague attempts to help and trying to gaslight me into believing it when i'm the one making all the calls and doing all the work. They didn't even know what paperwork they needed to file or how to. If you want this kind of problem by all means, open accounts and get your loans. Beware that working with this financial institution has been a complete nightmare. They will tell you they are trying to help and make half hearted efforts to make themselves look good on paper and do absolutely nothing and make you do all the work.

This the 2nd or third time we came here because their CD rates beat anything we found online …read more.. even the online only banks. It's an hour drive for us but always rather deal with some place that has a physical building and employees you can see vs some online place. I realize those online only places can usually offer better because they dont have to maintain the bank and number of employees. Bottom line is cheak out their cd rates and compare. When you google best rates they dont always show up.

I would not have known unless I had checked because of wanting to take advantage of dealer financing on a small item and was denied credit because of their mistake. When I brought it to their attention they were defensive and arrogant even after I sent them copies of my canceled checks that they had cashed. Their stupidity and disorganization has caused me a great many problems. I would avoid doing business with them . They are backwards in their approach to business and not customer oriented. My mother passed away unexpectly and I wanted to keep her car and kept making her payments as to…read morekeep everything current until her life insurance came so I could pay off her loan. In June I made the payment early and went in and took her death notice and talked to a associate and explained I needed the pay off as to arrange a date to bring cashiers check in and pay for car. They gave me a pay off date and amount. I left there thinking all was good and woke up the next more to a man repossing the car!!! I was in shock and explained it must be a mistake and asked him to allow me to call them before he took the car. I did and this incredible nasty man gets on the phone with and says I must allow them to take the car and whoever I talked to was mistaken. I explained I was there day before and had a written pay off and the car was actually in probate so the title would be put in my name. He said I had 15 days to get a letter of authority from probate court and pay off the loan or they would sell it at public auction!! It added insult to injury after losing my mom and was still in shock. I thought I had done the right thing by keeping payments current and letting them no I wanted to pay off the loan and even arrange the date. They were ugly and nasty and made a already awful situation in my life even worse. If the payments had been behind, Then I could had understood this but being I was there in good faith the day before? I called my lawyer and he expeditied the letter of authority through probate when he found out they took the car. They sent me a certified letter and gave me the pay off and added 400 dollars for the repo charge? I go down with cashier check in hand and my letter of authority and then tried to say I owed 20.00 bucks more? I could not believe this? Then they release the lean and I drive to Huber Heights to collect my car and the repo guy told me when he took car tehre would no charge on there end for holding the car and find out they want 200 in cash only? When driving home I start to notice a strange noise? I discovered after taking my car to my repair guy that the noise was my tire and I had just months ago had all brand new tires put on the car. He said one tire had a huge dropping bald spot? When I asked what caused that, He said he had only seen this in repo situations where they drug the car off of trailer. So now, I have to replace the tire. My advice to anyone is avoid Day Air Credit Union as there not professional and there behavior was at best shady.
