I paid David his nominal fee and he produced me a report stating the damages were over 6k. I called State Farm again and they still would not budge. The only solution at that point is to file suit So I Ended up filing a court case at the magistrate court in Gwinnett county. I realize thIs sounds intimidating but it's not a big deal. They will tell you what forms to fill out when you get there. It costs around $110 to file. Cash only. So filed case. A few weeks later the date is set. lo and behold, the lawyer from State Farm calls me today and settles for $3k! Thank you David!

She wouldn't even get the Jewlers opinion on it. Everything is fixable, I'm just sad that my piece wasn't valuable enough for them to even take a look at it. Note to sales team: be kind to people and don't make assumptions, I would have paid anything for this to be repaired, take a pause and let the jewler look at things that you are not an expert on. We will be doing our future shopping elsewhere where they are kind all the time not just trying to get a sale. I ordered a 4, and the ring we received was a full size too large. When we brought it in to resize, it seemed fine for about a week before the baguettes became noticeably loose. A second, independent jeweler examined the ring and told us plainly that the platinum band needed to be fully recast, because the resizing work itself had compromised the ring's structural integrity. We brought it back to DDUSA, who recast the ring. Weeks later, once we got it back, we took it to yet another independent jeweler for an unbiased opinion, and one of the baguettes was already loose again. After three separate attempts, DDUSA has been unable to deliver a structurally sound ring. I can neither give nor recommend any business to DDUSA.

He likes what he likes just like other business owners in this type of field. Don't waste his or your time though by bringing in items that either have no gold, sterling silver or real diamonds UNLESS the items are designer brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton etc. He still tries his best to make an offer on 'not so great' items when others would just turn you right down. Of course he is going to give you the best prices when it comes to Troy Bullion whether bars or coins. Also, makes very generous offers on gold karate rings and will add more money into the mix when diamonds are on them (even if they are a little small). All in all, Jonathan is a great guy to do business with and he is the only guy I will go to when I have some nice high end quality gold and diamonds!
