There are certain types of businesses that require a significant level of trust by customers. Collision centers (and car repair in general) are one of those that do. Because most consumers are not able to repair body damage to their own vehicles themselves, they place their trust in the individuals repairing their vehicle-- and hope that they have the skill, knowledge, and attention to detail to do it right. Ultimately, however, consumers are often left unaware of the true quality of a repair. Luckily, I have had the opportunity to learn that the work done by Steve Jr and his team at Buckingham Collision is top notch. So much so, actually, that when I had my recently repaired Jeep Grand Cherokee assessed at the Jeep dealership after being repaired at Buckingham collision, the used car sales manager commented repeatedly that whoever had done the repairs had done an absolutely outstanding job. And, as a result of the diligence and care put into every facet of the repair, the car value was higher than it would've been in any other circumstance. We've been fortunate in two unfortunate circumstances to have worked with Steve and his team. Both times, we were incredibly impressed by the level of detail and proactive communication that Steve provided every step of the way, the care that he put in to explaining the technical nature of the repairs to non-technical customers, the explanation he put in of the process involving insurance adjusters, car rentals, and other estimates-- and ultimately, the quality of the repairs done on our vehicle. Everything was completed with OEM parts, and the car was returned to us detailed inside and out. It is obvious on so many levels that Steve and his team take great pride in their work. Having a car repaired at a collision center is usually not a good circumstance, but we will recommend Buckingham Collision to everyone we can. We absolutely trust Steve and his team implicitly, and would go nowhere else if we find ourselves in need of his services in the future. We hate car accidents, but they happen. Buckingham did a phenomenal job of returning our car to the condition it was before we were hit by flying truck debris on I95. We were able to pick up the rental when we dropped our car off and returned the rental to Buckingham "AND" all the paperwork was complete because the rental agency had called us before hand. Everything was so efficiently completed between our insurance company, Erie, the insurance agency, Charles Leon Insurance of Ottsville, PA and the rental agency, Kulp. Three phrases come to mind: quality workmanship, excellent customer service, honest advice. When my minivan was rear-ended, I was told by my insurance company to go to the local drive-in collision estimating monopoly in Doylestown. Based on Buckingham Collion's reputation and a previous consultation with him, I called Steve, Jr., instead - who set up a meeting between me, the insurance adjustor, and himself on the site of Buckingham Collision. The entire process was smooth and nearly effortless - rental car delivered to Buckingham Collision on the day I dropped the car for the work, adjustor brought back to approve additional work, frequent updates by phone. The end result was even better than we'd anticipated - our vehicle's color and metallic finish is tough to match, but the shop did a superb job. When a minor problem with the rear hatch mechanism cropped up, it was taken care of promptly, and I was given rides to and from the shop. As the other guy's insurance took care of all of the work, and our insurance policies' OEM equipment rider insured that we had genuine Honda parts, I can't really give an opinion about their pricing structure - but their pricing for the quality work that they performed seemed to be comparable to what I have heard from people who have used other independent shops with good reputations. Two lessons learned - 1. The cheap OEM rider from Nationwide was worth the minor premium upcharge (get it if you have a newer, especially foreign, car - and your company offers it). 2. You do NOT have to go to a drive-through center if you don't want to - insurance companies just tell you to go there because it is easiest and cheapest for them (all I had to do was call the adjustor assigned to my claim at the beginning and request that they give me the number of the person who would actually see the car; and then Steve, Jr., called and did the rest of the arrangements). read more

I have taken both our cars to Buckingham Collision, and could not be happier. They were very helpful and would call me multiple times during the process to keep me in the loop.
