Customer service was five star. Had to slight problem with my order, wrong color sent by mistake. I call and the woman who answered the phone apologized what happened and said a new one would be sent. Before she got off the phone , she wanted to make sure that the length would fit my husband. She told me how to measure and when I did, I had put the wrong measurement on the original order. It was way too long. That was my fault. She made sure I had the right size and color. I love expensive handbags but hate when they need repair. The leather strap on my Gucci Bloom handbag was breaking in several places and I stopped carrying it. I could mail it back to Gucci but the return time was 9 months. Enter, Buckle and Hide! I was a little hesitant with the unknown of how it would turn out, knowing my warranty with Gucci would no longer be valid through Gucci but after talking to the team, I left the bag in their trust worthy hands. Truthfully, I gasped when I saw the repaired bag straps! The leather color matches the bag perfectly and I love the detail in the addition of the silver rivets. I drove out from Nashville after finding Buckle and Hide online. It was the only store I found that didn't look cheesy and commercialized and Buckle and Hide Leather did not disappoint. It's a mom and pop shop with tons of character and quality products. Steve was super helpful and I came away with a kick ass belt buckle and belt, which Steve fit for me there all in one visit. Took a motorcycle ride to this place on Saturday. It is locally owned and the people are incredibly friendly. They are excellent at their craft. They can do personalized leather products or buy right off the shelf. Doing their own work there in their store, they stand behind their products. We wound up picking up a very nice belt for the man and I got a shirt. He also got a great deal on some riding goggles. Good quality and came with four different sets of lenses. 25 dollars! That's a steal. Go in, shop around. Boots, sandals, clothes, purses, gun holsters, hats belts and just about anything you can thing of as far as riding gear goes. read more

Wow... had a very specific need. The craftsman (probably an owner also) explained he didn't do the custom work I needed... but immediately asked to see what I had and explained he could alter the existing piece (a leather guitar pick guard) for me while I waited.... wait .. what??? It just gets better a number of Harley riders came in to get adjustments done or patches sewn on their leathers ... I didn't mention I ride an Indian... they did the work in the spot... amazing. The place looks awesome... we talked guitars and barnwood walls while the work was being done. While I was waiting one of the belts that are made in house caught my eye... again... they sized it and added a custom piece ... while I waited ... amazing products... amazing craftsmanship... awesome people ... Prices are more than fair. I'll be back for a black jacket soon ... and I'll buy the misses some boots. Well done. read more

Buckle & Hide goes above and beyond! I went in and asked if they had guitar straps. They pulled a bunch that they'd made a while back. I fell in love with one wide black leather strap that had a tooled floral design and noted that I would want conchos on it. Steve, the owner, customized it for me on the spot in a half hour! He added the most beautiful conchos and fixed a few things up and it turned out to be the strap of my dreams. To top it off, their prices are extremely reasonable. Steve is super accomodating. He created a custom billfold for me. The design was a replica of a store logo, and the only artwork I had needed to be pulled from a photo of a logo on a ballcap! Steve did a great job hand tooling the art. The owner still uses it, and i think the billfold has weathered nicely. Steve also rewrapped my "Nook" E-reader cover with leather. The family puppy chewed the cover, but now it looks terrific (and its one of a kind). Hard to find someone who caters to customers whims like this. Go see him! read more
