This is a Tanger Mall, and although there are lots of deals to be found, you can find additional deals and discounts with the app. After a weekend in Memphis, I went to Southaven to find great deals. Walking into Tanger Outlets near Memphis is like stepping into a shopper's playground--except instead of slides and swings, it's racks and deals. The moment I got there, I was hit with that familiar "Do I really need this?" battle in my brain as I eyed everything from Nike sneakers to Kate Spade handbags. The layout is open and bright, making it easy to wander from one store to the next without feeling like a lost tourist on a mall safari. Parking was plenty, so no awkward circling while pretending to look for a spot--always a win. Food options? Let's just say if you go expecting a five-course meal, you might want to pack a snack (or seven). Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Krispy Kreme do their best to keep spirits up, but I found myself dreaming of a food court throne to rest my weary feet and carb-load. By the time I left, my shopping bags were heavier than my willpower, and my wallet was a little lighter (thanks, good sales). Tanger Outlets is basically a retail therapy session disguised as a sunny day out--and honestly, I'd book an appointment again. My daughter wanted to go shopping due to the lower sales tax in MS. But I have to be honest, until this day, I have not found a better Outlet Mall than the one in Livermore, CA! Quality/Quantity - No brands that I was interested in.,. But my daughter wanted to visit Nike. That's right, NO food court. How is that possible? Where am I going to eat and drink while my daughter shops? Tanger outlets in Southaven, MS is clean and well maintained. Quite busy on this gorgeous sunny and mildly temperate day. It has a nice collection of stores but many of the stores as Adidas, Nike and Under Armour were low on inventory probably related to the back to school situation. Every place in here has been A good experience for the most part. Nice service. Nice selection. And definitely good value for the money. I always get my shoes here, buy one pair, get second half off. They've got soft pretzels, Kristy Kreme Donuts, an American Eagle store. Perfume stores, candles, you name it, they even have bathrooms. Love the walking, pretty cool out there. read more

Made a little more I can't say little but I can't say little about a 35 minute drive down to Tanger outlets took about 3540 minutes give or take not too bad on a weekday however I was informed at the front shoppers station which is there a front check in that he gets really really really busy on Saturdays and Sundays So just to let you know that the shoppers services is where you go if you want to inquire about anything inside the Tanger outlets including if you want to ask questions and or become a member of the Tanger outlets club membership no I will list for you a few of the perks if you do decide to be a Tanger member Tanger club member and get that membership OK so for one if you come down and it's a really busy day Tanger club members how special parking place they are located throughout the outlet area you will see red signs that says Tanger club members parking only So if you want to be a Tanger club membership it may be worth it to you if you are interested in having closer parking with the parking you will receive a Tanger club parking pass it's a hang tag that you were then go out to your vehicle and hang in inside your vehicle visible at the rearview Also with being a member you were receive a Tanger club membership coupon or savings booklet within the booklet there are various stores throughout the outlet that are participating stores there a list of stores that you'll be able to see which ones are participating in those coupons saving opportunities in addition to that you may receive an additional 4 to 6 coupons may be equal into an additional 20 or 25 or even up to 3035% off in conjunction with the voucher so keep that in mind During this holiday season they have a Santa workshop area set up basically it's a Santa photo station and Santa comes out during certain days and times I took a couple of pictures of the board that shows the date and times when Santa is available for pictures and there's a photo visible where you can see how the photo stick station is set up Now with Santa's photo station you do have to inquire about pricing I did not see any pricing list it on that board but I did see dates and times that Santa would be out for pictures for the kiddos so look at that board that chart that's inside the shop or services area or take a look at the photo tag that I have attached to this review to help you Also with this holiday season parents and kids like those they have reading letters to Santa and have nowhere to mail them or have not yet milk those letters they do have a read Santa's mailing box set up inside the shoppers area you can put your letters to Santa inside that red mailbox Also to add for those that do not know or was unaware you can reflect back to the pictures within this review again but just a quick update Victoria's Secret is open and they do have sales that's right you can get your pink and Victoria's Secret now at the Tanger outlet mall Southhaven Mississippi Now last was certainly not least I'll definitely want to mention if you're gonna be doing any shopping and you've already signed up with a Tanger club membership you be sure to hold onto all your receipts and before leaving the mall area go back to the shop or services and submit those receipts those receipts will be added into your account your account Oh before I close at this review you can always download the Tanger outlet and refer to anything in the app and you can also upload your own receipts if you so choose to and you can see the tier items there from your purchases so for instance you going to the shoppers area in the services area and the line is too long you can open up your app and you can't submit your receipts in the app from there oh before I forget to mention there are three Placker lanes inside the shoppers area the people who are Tanger club membership holders have a VIP line so if you do become a Tanger club member instead of standing in the regular line you can go directly to the tango club VIP membership line Please excuse any misspelled words I am speaking through auto talk text and doing the best that I can so I hope everything is understood Alrighty happy holidays and stay safe out there everyone read more

The day after Thanksgiving spent time people watching at Tanger Outlet Mall in Southaven Ms. I haven't been out here since they opened and there has been a lot of great changes that have really made it a nice place to shop. The Christmas tree is up with holiday decorations around. Lots of shoppers and discounts. Krispy Kreme donuts, pizza place and Auntie's Pretzels has a location which makes it nice. Plenty of seating available-great for resting and enjoying the crowd. Nice weather and ambiance. FYI we parked across the street at the Southaven Community church for $5 to support the youth program. I'm impressed by the additions made at the Mall. read more

Tanger Outlets are always well laid out future good prices from many of the big name designers. This particular location is located south of Memphis, Tennessee. I live in Orlando, Florida where we have two outlets, but I prefer the outlets in the smaller towns because they are not so crowded. All in all, this is a good location to stop at and kill some time and maybe buy an item or three. read more

The stores there always have great deals going on, so you don't have to wait until a holiday or a special time of year to go. I love the outdoor area. My lovely wife suggested (in her ever so subtle way "I don't care where", [but all of your choices suck]) we go to the new outlet mall today. 11-27-15 "Black Friday" they say... I wanted to just head to some stores in the hood and keep it low key. Nope, not today... Anyway, we pull within a mile of the place and it looks crazy. There is a church across the street with some shady looking dudes holding signs on the corner. They are selling parking for $5 to park at the church and walk across the street. Way to keep it classy Christians, bravo! We get through the one way traffic (keep left on the entrance *"PRO TIP") and find a place on the back of the building. They really do need more parking and more than one entrance and exit. At this point, everything was a breeze. I enjoyed the shops and was impressed by the selection of businesses that were there. Tons of high end outlet shops with great prices. You can find just about everything you could ever need all at discounted tags! We visited several shops and I created at least 6 new business spots while I was there. The whole mall basically doesn't exist on Yelp yet. We will fix that! One strange thing though... No food??? A cookie place, blah, but nothing else permanent? We didn't even see the food trucks until we were leaving. There were two on location. CFA had a tent selling pre-packaged food from the store up the road but really nothing else. I will be back! You can count on that! When the hype dies down the deals will have me coming back for more! read more

I am no stranger to outlet malls and while this one was pretty good (4.5/5) I still happen to think the one in Sunrise, FL is still my favorite. So, maybe after living on an island for a few years, I've truly missed some of the most simplest things like good bargains, favorite stores, and tons of parking... Such trivial things except when you have lived in Hawaii. Back to the shopping! Tanger outlet malls are all over but more so on the central to eastern side of the U.S. I've always found them to be clean and easy to navigate and this one was no exception! The layout here was awesome. Set up in a nice little rectangle block-like layouts made for easy walking around even though it's all technically outdoors. It was raining all afternoon when I was there, and only got sprinkled on in between store hoping. One warning...the air conditioning in these stores is on full blast so on a normal day I'm sure it would feel super refreshing except when it's raining out and you really don't need a blast of cold air when you're slightly damp as you browse around! I found nearly every store I went in, the employees welcoming and eager to assist or point out their latest deals. The stores were clean, neat and well organized! The restrooms were also very clean! I was sorta surprised and happy each stall had a built-in shelf to hold my packages located above the toilet. Sorry, I would have taken a picture but, I just can't pull out my phone out in a bathroom. There's on-site security guards walking around and during the week, while kids are back in school, made for a prime time to shop! I guess, like most others, the main down side to this place is... No restaurants unless you count Auntie Anne's pretzels or the American Cookie shop? Oh yeah, there was also a little lady who also sold popcorn. Sodas or water? Head to the vending machines located by the entrances. I was there for 5.5 hours and was starving after I finished! I could have totally used a rest break or at least a bite to eat! I give this New Outlet 3 stars as I have been to better Tanger Outlets and expected a lot more. First let me say that they do have some good stores. For example my favorites included: The Nike Store. This store had a nice selection of Nike products. The Lindt Chocolate store. Not only do you get a free sample of chocolate as you enter but you can also make your own bag of favorites (I mixed white chocolate, peanut butter, dark chocolate, milk chocolate and raspberry). I loved that!!!!! The Kitchen Collection: Although a rather small store, they have some cute kitchen items for the house. I am looking forward to the opening of Coach and H&M. I also thought the Kids playground was a nice touch. However, they do not have a food court. Now I understand that this is a new place and everything but lets be honest after a long day of shopping, you want to have some selection of restaurants. As much as I love Auntie Anne's Pretzel and Great American Cookies, that is a snack not a meal. Overall, I thought it was A-Ok for an Outlet Mall. read more

OMG this place is amazing! They just opened it less than a month ago, and clearly, they are ahead of the times in terms of technology. It's an open air mall, yet covered by scaffolding so you can still shop on rainy days. The directory boards are digital, in that you can search for your store, and it will tell you the quickest way to get there by highlighting a path. It also allows you to search for coupons and have them sent to your mobile device. They have a free charging station for electric cars, tables with outlets to charge your mobile devices (or hang out with your laptop), and a nice Playland for the kids. The only issue here (and I'm nitpicking) is the lack of culinary options. They have two food trucks, a Great American Cookie Company, and a popcorn kiosk (that also sells lemonade). I feel that a coffee place (preferably other than Starbucks) would be a great idea, especially during the winter time. Tanger did a great job designing this new outlet mall. We will visit this every time we travel up here. read more

This was actually a pleasant visit. Not too crowded but a lot more people than you typically see at a dying mall or something.

Tip: join the Tanger club. For $10 you will get free coupons and rewards. Several times a year they send me $10 gift cards. No need to renew. One time only charge. Tons of rewards. Great stores. Great prices. Lots of selection and it never gets too crazy with people. Playground, splash pad, a couple of places to eat. Seating with fire pits for people to wait around if they get tired shopping. Adequate parking. Easy to get to. read more

Nice outlet mall with a ton of shopping options. We visited this mall on Thanksgiving evening to check out some of the Black Friday sales. It's a newly opened mall and at the time that we visited the mall only been opened for a week so I expected it to be chaotic but things went well. There was a bit of a traffic backup but they had plenty of security directing traffic and made sure things flowed smoothly. The mall itself is your typical outlet mall with the usual open layout and it's beautifully decorated. We didn't get around to checking out the food options but I did see a Chick-Fil-A tent set up. I enjoyed this mall and I'll return when I'm in the area again. read more

I love, love, love the way this open air mall's stores are all facing inward. No worries about getting mowed over by cars while you shop. The walkways are nice and breezy. Everything is really clean and pretty. Directional signs are ample. That being said, I didn't find anything out of the ordinary that I would come here for. My husband and I went to the pre-GRAND opening at Tanger Outlet last night. The party was great. They had food, drinks and a band. We didn't go in all the stores, but we went in several. They had all kinds of name brand stores. There's something here for everyone. They had several nice sales to commemorate their opening. The stores and the outlet as a whole is beautiful. It's beautifully decorated for Christmas. The stone buildings both inside and out are gorgeous. They also had water fountains, a fire pit and interactive electronic screens and iPads outside. I actually helped with the opening of the Gap factory after moving to the area and later finding a job in my degree. It really is an impressive shopping center. Bathrooms are accessible in hallways which are usually very clean and look like they'd be in a fancy restaurant. There are maps located on random walls and the info screens which are TOUCHSCREEN which is really high tech and helpful so you can click on a store and it highlight where the store is and you can find your way. The info center usually has coupon books or they have an app with coupons you can use for the stores there. It is an outdoor mall so good luck when it's raining or cold but it rarely gets cold enough to not use the center. There are some covered area but you'll have to walk a while to get to them. I really liked working at Gap and loved the deals they provided as well as the kitchen, chocolate, and outlet stores. Wide variety of priced stores for everyone. The only downfall is that there are limited eating and drink places. They really need to have some restaurants come buy in walking distance to provide for the shoppers. Waiting at aunt Annie's for 15-30 minutes is crazy. I wasted my whole 15 minute break once waiting for a pretzel and had to eat it walking back otherwise I was late and this was early in the morning too, not even prime time. But overall great place to shop and awesome playground for kids. Excited to have just moved to a place with a great shopping center which I've never lived near to before. read more

I'm giving this 5 stars because I'm comparing it to other malls in the Memphis metro area. If it were compared to other Tanger Outlet Malls in the country, it might rank lower. But, since I live and shop in Memphis, that's my point of comparison. I've now been three times. Twice just before Christmas and once just a couple of days after Christmas. Each time, parking was easy and crowds were manageable. My only complaint is the Tommy Hilfiger store. I love Tommy but I don't know if I'll be back to this store. I've been in twice and was completely ignored both times. I couldn't even get into a dressing room because they were all locked and I couldn't get an employees attention to open one. But all other stores were great - service and selection. read more

So great to have a shopping area like this close to home! It was a lot nicer than some Tanger Outlets I have been to. I felt like I was at an actual outdoor mall. The store options were great too! I loved the Michael Kors store and they were actually having a half off sale!! I'm not so happy about the Tanger rewards costing $10 to join, but oh well!
