My mission of the day today was to find a nice but cheap area rug for my classroom. Being a new teacher, I am spending a lot of money on things to get my classroom started, and a rug was one of those necessary things for the "Cool Down Corner" I had in mind for my Special Education students. While calling around to try and find the best price, I came in contact with Garland from Bucks County Carpet. She was very pleasant to talk to on the phone, and assured me that I would be helped upon my arrival at the store in Pendell. About 15 minutes later, I showed up at the store and Dave, a sales associate, was there waiting for me. He had already spoken with Garland and he was waiting to help me, as promised. He helped me in finding the best color and size of pre-cut carpet for my classroom, which was then donated to me. The service at this store was amazing, and everyone who I spoke to was caring and extremely pleasant to deal with. You can tell that this business is run by great owners and workers who care not only about their business, but about the community surrounding them as well. Don't put yourselves through the aggravation, terrible service and expense. I paid top dollar for Mohawk Premium Pet Resistant Carpet and padding. What I got was some kind of cheap, apartment complex type remnants with seams throughout the living areas. They refused to make the corrections so I had to sue them, and won. I now have a lean against them filed in the Bucks County Courthouse. I ended up hiring "Olden Carpet", down the street from them, to come in and rip out the Bucks County Carpet and Floors crap and re-do the entire project. Olden Carpet gave me the Mohawk Premium product I asked for in the first place. They did a beautiful job, cleaned up after themselves and removed all the trash. All of this for the same price I was charged by Bucks County Carpet and Flooring for their bait and switch crap. read more

I had two estimates to carpet my basement. They were much more affordable. I had a four hour window for the install of my carpets, they were here less than ten minutes into that window. The two gentlemen that were on my job were knowledge and polite. I'm so glad I called them! read more

I recently purchased rugs from Bucks County Carpet and Flooring. When delivered, rugs were not the shade I selected. I was told by the store manager and owner that it was due to a "dye lot variance". I was not made aware of this possibility prior to making the purchase. They also accidentally discarded a 2'x3' piece of this carpet that I needed for a throw rug. They have made no attempt to rectify any of this and really don't seem to care. read more

If I could rate zero stars, it would be -0 This is the absolute worst company to deal with. We are sorry we ever gave them our business. We had a problem in one of the rooms they installed carpet. It was a stain that I couldn't identify, Almost looked like a burn. We called them to please come. Turned out it was probably from one of the workers boots and it was removable. However, the owner became belligerent, accusatory and threatened us. Him and his wife are literally thugs and I had to get my phone to call police to get them leave our home. If you're looking to freshen your home for spring run, don't even think of using this company you'll be very sorry. To correct the mess these people caused in our home we had to have everything replaced by LOMAX, a real company who are extremely professional and reputable. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! Do not buy carpet from this store. They do not honor what the customer selected. And are nasty about it. We worked with a very good salesman who patiently searched for the color carpet we wanted and helped us identify two options for the two areas we wanted carpeted. We discussed and rejected all other options. When the manager came out to our home to measure, she wrote a contract with the names of two colors. We assumed they were the two colors, one lighter than the other that we spent more than two hours choosing. When the installer, also very good, brought them into our home we realized that he had one color correct and the other one was wrong since we had rejected it in the store because we rejected it as too dark. We are unfamiliar with the names of carpet colors, particularly since they were not descriptive at all and did not include even a hint as to the actual color. Think of nail polish colors. So we did not know that one of the colors the manager wrote on the contract was wrong! We called the Manager, and she was not at all helpful. Just the opposite. She was totally uninterested in helping at all and was entirely unwilling to even discuss a solution even though it was she who made the error by writing the wrong colors on the contract. Wrong because one of them was not at all what we selected, as corroborated by the salesman. The manager pointed to the contract as the only important issue and I would have agreed. But she is the one who created that contract (leas than six words) and it was she who wrote the wrong color on the contract, despite being aware that we had chosen other colors at the store. We had no way to know that she misunderstood what we wanted or that she had changed what we selected in the store to reflect a color we do not like. She was unprofessional, and utterly lacks any customer service skills. She cared not one single iota.that we are NOT HAPPY at all!!!!! Without sharing the painful argument that ensued, let me stress BUYER BEWARE!!! Find a store who actually gives a darn about the customer. Tell every you know to stay away. I worked in a business managing buildings that required carpet installations regularly. In 30 years I never came across a vendor so disinterested in customers. Never. Ever. read more

My 86-year-old mother had carpets installed on her steps so she wouldn't slip and fall. The carpets are not secure at the top of the steps. With over a month of visits to the store and multiple calls we have gotten no results. All this business is concerned about is the final paycheck and then you never see them again. I'm very surprised that they're still in business for the price that it cost to have stairs installed and no follow-up. read more

i had Bucks County Carpet install carpet in our living room. it was a disaster. they used remnants which resulted in unsightly seams through the middle of the room and inside the front door. I ended up suing them and have a registered judgment against them. I immediately had their carpet ripped out and replaced by Olsen Carpet down the street from them. olden did a beautiful job. I got exactly what I paid for (not low grade remnants) I have attached photos of BCC's horrible install. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere. read more

Ok, I thought it was pretty gutsy opening up a carpet store across the street from BIG MARTY'S. Big Marty's has been there since dirt was new (or at least longer than I've lived in the area). After big disappointment across the street, I figured might as well check out the competition. They didn't have what I was looking for either (plastic runner to put over high traffic carpet areas), but they knew what I meant and told me to go to Home Depot to get it (where I did). I may not have purchased anything from them, but their helpfullness in assisting me to find what I needed garnered a positive review. read more

Went into the store, chose some possible flooring and set up an appointment for the following week for them to come to my home. They gave a 1 hour window. Half way through that window I called the store to verify that they were coming. NOPE not coming...no notification...just did not show up. read more

The service was good. The outside of the business is what I had a problem with. I saw syringes outside on the ground. On the side of the building closer to Lincoln highway. When I went to throw my drink out in the dumpster I found clear drug bags all over the ground. In the trash bags you could see blue wax bags and more syringes. I would assume the tenets in the apartments above are leaving the mess and I think the owner of the business should look into this matter. It does not look good for business read more

I just got carpet here for my living room, dining room, steps, and hallway. I absolutely love it. The carpet itself is really really thick and soft. My husband and I both work 5 days a week and I especially liked the fact that this place was willing to put my carpet in on a Saturday for us. The guys who came to install it were very nice, and they moved my bigger furniture. I was worried because I have an entertainment center that is really hard to move but they made it look easy. I came back today to pick up the bound runners they made me from the extra carpet we had. Thanks so much! read more
