I checked them in Corpus and Portland for two of my three days here, and they always had a 2&1/2 hour wait. They suggested I make an appointment on line which I did for 4 pm. I arrived at 4 pm and got in line as if I had not made an appointment with no signage or indication as what to do if you had a reservation??? They told me they used to have a separate line for reservations but no longer do. I am not sure if there is any advantage to having a reservation??? They told me it put you ahead of other people in line. I did like that they had a cooler full of bottled waters as it was a hot day and it was much appreciated. My service advisor was courteous and friendly. The concept, pricing and selection for Discount Tire is a good , however, they have grown to the point that there is almost always a 2 or more hour wait no matter where you go. I would tell them BUILD MORE STORES. I was told I should be done by 5pm. It is 5pm and my car is still sitting in the parking lot. Has not yet moved. It did about 5:10 and the were done quickly. The technician came over and asked if the pressure he had set was ok. I sled him to go up a bit and he smiled and went back to it. So overall if they could work out the appointment issue I would rate them 5 stars.

This was our second visit this winter -- first time was in December -- and just like the first, we were in and out with a repaired tire in less than an hour. The staff is super, they get the vital information and then immediately set a technician on the job. This was our 4th visit overall during the past 3 winters for similar tire punctures (keeping score -- 2 nails and 2 screws) and each time the problem was taken care of quickly and permanently. Hats off to what we believe to be the best vehicle service business in the area!

Drove to Port A for a weekend getaway & barely made it due to brake issue. I showed up last Friday…read moremorning and had to get both rotors replaced & pads, which they did not stock. They went above and beyond driving to find my parts, had my truck finished by 2pm. Also gave me a 36K mile/36 month warranty on my parts. They saw I have Veteran plates and offered me the Military discount and gave me $50 gift card for their boutique down the road- a must see. The staff was great to deal with and informative about my repairs, along with things to do in the area and places to eat. I hope I don't have to go back for repairs but I wouldn't go anywhere else should I need repairs again.

We had a bad coolant leak on a 2009 Toyota while in Port Aransas. I topped off the coolant, but…read moreonly just barely made it past the ferry to Aransas Pass before the temp went up, so I stopped and called for a tow to Wright Brothers. We got there right at closing time, but I was able to tell them what was going on and hand them the keys. We had an unplanned overnight stay, but Keith called in the morning to let me know what the issue was. Long story short, he wasn't able to get the part quickly, and had to do a temporary fix to get us safely back to San Antonio on a Friday. Work was done right after lunch, as promised, and he even gave me a ride from the hotel to get the car. I am very grateful to the shop for caring that I would be able to get my family home today without me having to rent a car and come back next week.

I just took my truck in for annual inspection, they failed the inspection, said it needs complete…read morebrake job all front and rear, and looks like the master cylinder is leaking. Just this year I had the front and rear brakes replaced. The brake cylinders on the rear and grease seals. I have never had to add brake fluid, so there's no leak. They are just trying to scam people into getting repairs that aren't necessary. I would not recommend this place for anything.
