This is the new Bucky's and it rocks!!! So big and beautiful and bright. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. I wasn't a huge fan of the super-expensive car wash, because A) it was super expensive, and B) it's not a touchless. This day in age, i expect most to be touchless, so as to avoid scratches on cars. They have EVERYTHING you could want at a convenience store! I think I counted about 10 different iced tea flavors, and around 200 choices of coffee. It was insane! The staff is incredibly polite and nice. Oh and a dozen or so slushy flavors!!!!! They sell beer and wine as well, which is convenient. And they have a ketchup pump for the hot dogs (sorry diehard Chicagoans, but I like!) The store itself is very spacious which is a huge benefit compared to McShell across the street (tiny and shares it space with Grimmace and Ronald McDonald). Go check it out! You may be surprised that a gas station/convenience store can be clean, modern, bright, and pleasant. read more

This place is not very impressive. First of all the prices for the car wash are not included when the gas pump inquires whether you would like a wash. The cheapest option was $9. Pretty steep. The gas also defaults to the most expensive option if you are not careful. This new place is obviously spent some money in this new technology.. read more

Paid $7.00 for a basic wash. While going through I thought to myself that the wash was pretty weak, so I decided to park as soon as it was finished and check it out. My suspicions were accurate as the car wash left dirt untouched on all sides of the car. I had to get paper towels from the gas pumps to finish the job on my own the best I could. RIP OFF! I got stuck in the exit of this location in heavy snow this winter, one of the employees came up and offered to tow me out, but only informed me of a $15 charge for this service after he had hooked up his vehicle! Suffice to say I refused his "kind" offer and escaped with the help of a nice man who gave me a push! I pass this place every day on my way to and from work! Gas I always cheap. Employees are nice and are the standard emoyee you'd find at a gas station. Police tend to hangout here for some reason. Which is actually pretty nice. Safety right. My only knock would be the lack of food options. The food they have it way over priced even for a gas station. As a Customer we are use to paying high markups but 400% is ridiculous. Plus the Bucky hot foods are out away @5 o'clock. Way too early. I'd rather get food here than McD's but they always close done the hot bar. I didn't think I'd find myself reviewing a gas station convenience store, but I was so overwhelmed by Bucky's I just couldn't resist. This is a brand new location as of last year, so it's very nice, clean and new. The pumps work great and prices are generally good. The car wash is OK, the back of my SUV never quite gets clean but that's true for most car washes. Now what really blew me away was the convenience store and specifically the drinks. I have NEVER seen so many choices in all my life and I have been on plenty of road trips. They have a milkshake station; an ice tea and juice station; a smoothie/slushie station with 10+ flavors; a soda station with all pepsi and coke flavors (20+ flavors plus syrups); and I didn't even explore the coffee area but it was massive, too. And this is just the fountain drinks, they have bottled drinks as well. It's crazy. Seriously. If you're thirsty, stop on by. The prices were good and the workers were friendly! read more

My car was damaged in the Bucky's Express car wash on 3.16.15. As my car entered the car wash, my car was thrown off the track to the left. There apparently is no "safe switch" on the device. In other words, the wash cycle never shut off as my car was thrown towards the brushes to the left. I had to sit in my car honking the horn for help, none came, after the cycles ended, I had to wedge open my door and climb around the brushes, jump over water to get any assistance. According tot he territory manager, Carlos Corniffe, I am at fault because he cannot "see" from the video what happened after my car went into the car wash..in his own words..."this is a question mark". A $12 car wash ended up costing $481.69. Tire Alignment & a broken wheel sensor. Carlos mistakenly redialed my cell number, where I heard him talking to who, I do not know, but his conversation... "I just texted you, she is not going to go away easy". After I was terrorized and traumatized for over 10 minutes in a car wash with no safety feature, I only asked for my car repairs. Per Carlos, this is not going to happen. An awful, horrible experience. read more
