Sam, who is the morning attendant, can usually be found sleeping behind the counter anytime before 8:00 with the entry door locked. I recall an instance where myself and three other people were outside attempting to get gas to no avai because he wasn't authorizing the pumps.. too busy snoozing away. This has happened on several occasions. One day I got fed up and called Mobil's 800 number and complained, They called me back 2 weeks later and told me the situation had been rectified. Doubtful, I went back to see for myself. I laughed as I walked up to the counter to find him with his eyes closed and his chin in his hand. Well, at least the door wasn't locked this time. On the days when he had enough sleep the night before, he is usually reading the newspaper and that is far more important then taking care of the customer. It's a five minute process just going inside and getting a pack of cigarettes. He's sloooooooow. And he can never seem to figure out where my cigarettes are even though you'd think he'd have memorized it by now. I go back due to convenience. It's right on the corner and pretty much the only gas station I pass before I get on 53 to go to work (there is Speedway, but that place is a freaking madhouse in the morning). I only give an extra star because the attendant at night is nice, although strange. The other night he was sniffing me. Yes, I said SNIFFING me. Although creepy, it made me laugh a little bit.

I know that the stores have a quota to meet with the rewards cards. I have gone to the store several times with this guy working there and he always scans a new card. I tell him I have a card and then he says he cant scan my card since he already scanned one. Now I can't get my points . He stated I can use the new card . I don't want a new card I want my points on my card. That's stealing in my eyes. He's a thief. Not only that !!! The store always stinks. Smells like a dirty mop and urine . He doesn't have rugs on the floors and the floors are always dirty. He's mopping the floors with old water and a rotten mop. I have personally and others have seen the mop water and it's always dirty. This person talks bad to women. He should be removed from this location or even better fired. This store shouldn't even get one star.

For me, it's the convenience of the location as it is down the road from my gym, the high school, etc. The pump area is usually clean and working well and I do not fret too much about the security of my information at Costco: gas. I like having a garbage can so I can empty out my daughter's stuff while I fill up. The staff is attentive and I see them help others with the gas, receipts, etc. time and time again. Sometimes patrons drive crazily around the pumps, but that is not to any fault of the facility. I appreciate having affordable gas so close!

We found the nearest Costco warehouse, and was very pleasantly surprised at how there were no lines...we had our choice of pump. This location consists of 3 islands, with the first two having 3 pumps and the far right island having 2: meaning 16 nozzles can be dispensing at the same time. The POS process was exactly the same as in other locations: tap your Costco credit card which does double duty of validating your membership and authorizing your credit card. You choose your grade (only two choices of either 87 or 93 octane), pump. 3.66 a gallon. Didn't need to stop inside the warehouse store itself, so we were quickly on our way.

The location does get busy as it is conveniently located on a corner of two busy streets, as many gas stations are. There is even an offsite carwash who offers a discount with a gas purchase. Or is it a discount on gas with a car wash purchase? Maybe it's a discount on gas and a car wash? I just don't know. Maybe there isn't a discount? I still don't know. What I do know is that you have gas, I can use a card at the pump and even get a receipt to prove that I paid for the gas. This Shell location is clean on the outside and inside and I'm always greeted with a friendly smile inside. You don't have the most expensive gas prices but you also don't have the lowest, but, you do have gas, therefore I'll be seeing you again.

Unprofessional Management and Hostile Customer Service…read more I have been a loyal customer at the Arlington Heights EverClean Car Wash location for a long time, but the recent behavior of the supervisor, Whit Grossman, was completely unacceptable. During my visit, she claimed the system was updating and demanded my credit card again. When I politely declined to re-provide my card, she immediately cancelled my membership on the spot. To make matters worse, she called the police on me--treating a paying customer like a criminal simply for refusing a card request during a system glitch. A supervisor should know how to handle basic customer service issues without escalating to law enforcement or retaliating by cancelling active memberships. The location used to be run great under previous management (Montez King), but under Whit Grossman, the customer experience and staff morale have collapsed. Furthermore, I rarely see Whit Grossman at the facility during her scheduled 8-hour shifts, and she fails to inspect or maintain the equipment. Machines inside the car wash, vacuums, and air hoses are frequently broken. She is never seen cleaning the facility or brushing the walls and windows. Montel did all of this and handled customers very well, which is why employees liked him. Many old employees have quit because of her bad attitude, rudeness, and lack of professionalism. I am extremely disappointed and will no longer support this location.
