The vibes here were really great. It's an excellent spot if you want to relax, have a few drinks, and chat with friends. The drinks are delicious and the staffs personalities add to the atmosphere. I had the watermelon margarita and it was sooo good. I was happy it was natural watermelon juice instead of the artificial candy flavor that is sickly sweet. It was my birthday last night and we came here after we went bowling. I was excited but the 5'3 security guard sent all 5 of us away because my husband had of shorts! It's 90 degrees at 9pm on a Saturday. Cool, no problem. We'll go somewhere else. LOL just letting the owner know that the security at the door is messing with your money. Edit post initial review ***So after doing a little digging, I found out that my husband was most likely being racially profiled. He's a black man. He had on army cargo shorts and a black polo and a hat. I went on their IG and clearly found a white man in shorts an undershirt and a hat posted to their IG page!!! Wow. People are disgusting. Nuestro Mexico Lounge is one of my favorite spots to go. It's very laid back, the prices are a little high for the mixed drinks but the beer is a reasonable price. It's worth it for the ambiance, definitely recommend if you want a more relaxing environment! read more

Wow! What a wonderful and fun date night! Not knowing where to go and wanting to stay close to home we decided to give this place a go. From the outside you really can't tell what to expect! The inside is very modern and upscale, yet you don't have to be all fancy to go in! Let's talk about the drinks! They had some awesome selection of beverages. All of their drinks were simply amazing. Well thought out flavors, with a mix of earthy ingredients and fruit (no, not fruity drinks, but I'm sure you could ask for it if you really wanted it!) none of the drinks were overwhelming in flavors like most places around here. The selection of liquor is impressive. They have mezcal, tequila, sotol, several whisky and brandy brands, Beer, vodka and more! The service was beyond incredible, Christian took care of us all night. He haves us the history and 411 on a lot of the liquor we tasted. Had the chance to stop by and check out the new location, customer service was great. I ordered steak fajitas, and a tinga taco, both were really good. This isn't your regular Mexican spot. This place is AMAZING! Beautifully decorated, comfortable seating, great music playing but not overly loud. Nice place to come wind down and have a drink without the rowdy bar/club atmosphere. And not just any drink. Hand crafted, delicious, exotic drinks made with love for the craft! And the price is great drinks are $12-14 on average, which is great for the quality and presentation they have. The bartenders were super friendly, recommended drinks and were very attentive. The place is on the smaller side but the layout is nice. There was no food besides ceviche but we were told they were currently working on expanding so I'm excited to see what else they bring! Only upscale lunge in town where majority employees are Hansom friendly man. Drinks are always on pint and decently priced. Live dj does well , decoration is very modern and always smells fresh and clean. The white sofas will make you think twice about being drunk and clumsy. Can't wait for the food section to open. I've been to this establishment many times since its opening, but this last Saturday was not pleasant. The server was not very attentive and the drinks were not as superb as my other visits. I'm excited about this place! I love a beautiful, dark bar. In this case, a sexy lounge. Amazing ambiance. They have an amazing menu of serious cocktails. All of their mixers are made of fresh ingredient with homemade simple syrups. My companion and i tried a few different cocktails. I tried a mezcal watermelon margarita - to die delicious! We also tried the pineapple Moscow mule and smoke in the city! They were all delicious! The bartender is a serious mixologist. We were given top notch service. At this time they aren't serving food yet. But we ordered a pizza from New Vintage Grill and one of the staff members was soooooo kind to pick it up and bring it to us. This was their recommendation. They were attentive and did everything they could to accommodate our large group. Tried a few drinks from the menu this weekend with a few friends. Apple Martini was good. The hornitoes was good. I've had many other drinks here and was never disappointed. Usually stick to my regular choices. I've been a regular here since they opened. Best times to come here were on fri & sat nights. Lately, however, seems that business has really fizzled down to where the staff are just standing around waiting to push for more sales. Used to be where staff were friendly, upbeat and personal with you always welcoming and happy to see you. Now it feels you're walking into a gas station where it's just a business transaction. It's dull and boring. There's a certain awkwardness to it that's not very comfortable. They're trying to spark things up by adding lasers and smoke machines etc, but the music is just dull. Same ol thing. Rinse and repeat. Nuestro owners needs to really start re-evaluating music choices. It's getting old and boring. I'm a regular here. The weekends are slow and almost dead now. Anyways it is what it is. They need better updated hip music choice. The rinse repeat cycle of playing the same thing over and over is driving regular patrons like me to go elsewhere. Just a tip: look at what music clubs and bars around the world are playing like Amsterdam, Switzerland, hip joints in Los Angeles, Vegas etc. do some research and implement it. It's all about the execution of making it happen. When you get rid of old staff that actually were upbeat and friendly and replace them by new people who're just "there" to make a buck it drives everyone away. Drinks are good. Atmosphere and environment is good. Music & vibe needs immediate and sustained improvement or the place will just turn into a run down dive bar. We heard by word of mouth that this place had a great old fashioned. Our party of 4 decided, why not.. let's go have a couple of drinks. We walked in and were blown away. The vibe was so fun. The light display was super cool looking bouncing off of the white couches. Their artwork tied in nicely. They had Reggaeton and some pop/hip hop music playing pretty loudly. Our voices def had to be elevated to speak over the music and hear each other. We didn't mind so much since the drinks just blew us out of the water. We had a watermelon/basil margarita that was made with FRESH watermelon juice. I can't tell you how perfectly balanced that drink was. We also had a coconut mojito that was incredible, and the old fashioned came out with a small presentation. They smoked the old fashioned in a glass/terrarium. It was pretty epic. Displays like that always leave us remembering a place. Their service was also great. When a glass was empty they almost immediately came up and asked if we wanted another. Nuestro is a beautiful addition to NW Bakersfield! The lounge has an amazing atmosphere, their drinks are great, but it is truly the staff and owners that make this place a true gem. We ended our Saturday night here, and it was so nice to relax. We were on the tail-end of a bachelorette party, and the staff brought us a bottle of complimentary champagne. It was so good! This place is close to home for us so I was excited to try it out. We are loyal patrons to their restaurant on 21st street. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for a couple drinks. The inside of this lounge makes you feel like you are in an LA lounge in a good way. Very nice looking and very clean. The drinks were great they had some signature cocktails. I tried one and it was good then went back to my usual fav and it was mixed very well. This is only a lounge so that means no food. I'm hoping that they might introduce some munchie since I like to snack when I have drinks but for now there is no food. My husband and I had a nice time talking about our work week over a couple drinks. We will be back for sure. read more
