This has been my go-to for the past few months, simply because it's full of really good quality vendors with good products, great variety, and even better people. I have been making Buda's Farmer's Market my ritual every Sunday, as I usually get there around Noon time which still gives me a couple of hours to graze and browse and shop. I've met pretty much everyone there and it's got a nice selection of items as well. I know we're not supposed to have favorites, but I do have a few of them that I just visit on a regular basis. - Springtown Coffee Roasters - oh my goodness I love these ladies and their coffee! They have this really refreshing drink called the "Coffee Soda" - it's their Ethiopian blend mixed with carbonated water served cold, w/ ice, add some simple syrup - and WHOA! It's the best damn coffee drink I've ever had - no joke. Very refreshing, one of a kind, they need to bottle this up. I have bought a few of their coffee beans as they have a plethora of offerings. What I love about them is they offer high quality products, they know their beans, the origin, and have a specific roasting process that sustains the integrity of the bean. I can't say enough about them - only 4 bucks for a cup of coffee soda and they will give you free refills during your time there. Sometimes I come here just for their coffee soda - The pickles and jarred jelly couple up front - I have bought from them, and I love their garlic sweet and hot pickle chips. The juice can be used as a salad dressing too. Of the various pickles I've tried in the past from other vendors, these guys taste the best IMO. Huge selection too - The pickled green beans and beef / turkey jerky guy - - I buy from him on a regular basis. My favorite is the garlic picked green beans - LOVE THEM! Growing up in Michigan my bff's mom made the same and called them "Dilly Beans". I buy 3 jars at a time, you get a buck off, and if you spend a certain amount you get a $10 credit. Jerky is pretty solid too - the hot is really hot btw. He's an all around nice guy too. - The garlic puree lady - oh yeah - she makes this awesome garlic puree that you can basically put on ANYTHING! Very deep and potent garlic flavor, rub it on your chicken, I rubbed it on my grilled cheese before I put it on the skillet - WOW! I love garlic. - The kambucha girl - she's gone but her stand is still there, they have some unique flavors such as blueberry, peach, ginger lemon, and you can mix and match. I am a regular here and bring back the glass bottle and get a buck off. - The Empanada stand up front to the right - they are also at Sunset Farmers Market. My favorite is the bolognaise, brisket, and the strawberry / rhubarb. Love their sauces too! Other vendors I have bought from there and really like: - Fresh veggies - Fresh peppers - Salsa guy makes some good salsa (from Llano I think) - The cheese guy has some nice cold smoked cheeses - The salsa / tomato puree / bbq sauce / queso / jalapeno ranch girl - oh man she's got some goodies (also at Sunset). Best damn queso ever. Seriously. - Microgreen dudes - yes they are full of flavor and I love em There are a lot of great vendors here, many more that I may have forgotten, but I've always had a great experience here and everyone is always so very nice and pleasing. read more

Upon seeing this farmer's market in the distance, I didn't think much of it. It looked very small with no more than 15ish farm stands. I thought we'd be in and out fairly quickly. However, we loved it and spent a lot of time here. If you are looking for an abundance of fruits and veggies, this probably is not the place to stop. There was only a stand or 2 of that. If you are looking to grab a snack with a friend, this is the perfect place. We first stopped at the southern Germany pastry stand and got a hazelnut pastry and a soft pretzel. Both delicious. They told us that the pastries were European sweet, which is a nice change from everything being so sweet. The açaí bowls were very fresh and delicious. I got the kid sized one and it was more than enough. The smoothie guy chopped fresh fruit at the time of every bowl ordered. It made the line a little slow, but the fresh fruit was worth it for me. One stand sold jerky, another ginger beer, another Filipino snacks, another micro greens, another fresh breads, and more! All of the vendors were extremely friendly and talkative. They were all passionate about their products, without making you feel pressured to buy. read more

One of the most laid back Farmer's Market and beautiful background of Buda's best little spots and shops all around. This is also a late start farmers market at 10am and goes until 2pm! There is a variety of vendors that sell local honey, soaps, fresh and hot food, produce, local meats, chutneys, local CBD products, flowers, hummus, and all the things you can find from the best artisans, food producers, and locals of Central Texas. I really enjoyed finding such a wide variety of options to choose from and made me think creatively on what I could make for the upcoming week walking around looking at what was available. Parking is super easy and never an issue here. Plenty of spaces to post up right next to the farmers market layout. Lots of shade too so do not be deterred or put off by the market being in a parking lot. There is plenty of room to move around and hang out. Live music from local musicians play as your background music as you browse and look around. No need to bring cash with you as the majority of the vendors do take credit/debit. You will find some vendors who have a minimum purchase price if you are using a debit card but if you want cash you can find an ATM on site near the store fronts in the lot. read more

A nice little market with a good variety of vendors. There's a vendor selling beef, and another selling micro greens. Starting in February a new vendor will be there offering pastures raised chicken and grass-fed/grass-finished lamb. read more

As a vendor this market is a mess! Rodrick is no longer there and Jonah is a complete jerk! You don't know where your going to be placed until you get there. I was at this market 6 months when he decided to take it over . When I asked who he was he informed me he'd been the manager for 10 years, and what's funny is Id never seen or met him in the previous 6 months. Jonah nor his associate do not return emails, calls, or keep schedule notes . So from a vendor point good luck! FOR patrons there's a lot of great vendors and a descent variety to choose from and the best part is you won't have to deal with the manager. read more

Basing this review my first visit here; I was underwhelmed and wish they had more craft vendors, this isn't a very big farmers market; maybe ten vendors with a couple that were selling the same things. I did get some great fresh kale and an amazingly delicious empanda, but would've loved to see more options, I was really hoping for a candle/soap maker and I'm sure they vendors change frequently, so I'll have to check it out again another time. read more

This Farmer's Market is a really good one. Smaller than some you'll find in Austin, but they have a nice selection of vendors offering things like locally roasted coffee, raw honey, vegetables,kombucha, breakfast tacos, gifts, CBD, lotions, soap, etc. plus there's always great music playing. There's a parking lot right next to the vendor booths so no long walks and it's extremely family friendly. Highly recommend a drive to Buda as besides this awesome market, you have to drive through downtown which offers a bunch of cool shops and restaurants. read more

This market was moved from that parking lot to the park. They still have all the same amazing vendors. My favorites are the empanada tent, banana bread tent, and the juice lady tent. This market offers such great vendors. You can try micro greens from several tents. Our friends like buying farm fresh eggs. The last time we went one tent offered coffee soda. My friend said it was actually really good. Each vendor is very knowledgeable about their products. Special shout-out to the guy who sells the roasted nuts and the salsa. My spouse LOVES the green salsa! This is a fairly small farmer's market so you can get through it probably in 20-30 mins. read more

It's great to see this Market's growth after they moved location. They have some great vendors, tasty foods, cool beverages, and enjoyable entertainment! I am loving their new location at the Buda Grain and Mill. Just note that the market is on Sundays 10-2pm. Bring your Kombucha bottles and grocery bags! read more

I used to love driving out there in Sundays, but now it's not worth my time. What happened to the vegetable stands? I don't go to the Farmers Markets for crafts, and ready made food. I go for local fruits and veggies. Unfortunately, I won't be making that drive again on Sundays. read more

This farmer's market is much smaller than the ones you can find in Austin but still has a bit of charm. There are only about 10-15 vendors but everyone was welcoming and nice. Bring cash because the vendors don't accept debit/credit. They have a couple vendors offering vegetables, a couple offering other food and drink items and a few with goods/items for sale. So we went this past weekend and we loved it! We ended up getting so many veggies. They had mariachis and covered areas to eat under. Each vender took time to explain their products and gave our samples. Very family friendly, they even had a area where kiddos could plant seeds into pots and take home. Very impressed. Small, but overall great!!! Just don't forget to put on some sunblock!!! read more
