What makes Coach James GREAT, you ask? My daughter was shy and was almost perceived as she had a chip on her shoulder. Coach James & his team have helped her to blossom so quickly as not only on her way to being a great tennis player, but a confident and respectful young lady. His method of teaching is quite OUTSTANDING I might add. I've even learned a couple things so I can hit some balls with my daughter. I never imagined my daughter would be disappointed if she missed practice, even in the scorching hot sun, she does and now has a passion for the sport. Shout out to Coach James and the Team!! I have been following the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour for a couple years now…read moresince Dec 2023. Thank you to my dear work colleague and friend... you know who you are. Darling Tennis Center (DTC) was home for the 2024 PPA Rate Championships presented by Skechers and 2025 PPA Rate Vegas Cup presented by Holland America. I was at this center both years as a spectator for the pickleball tournaments. DTC has 23 beautiful tennis courts. Staff was friendly. They did an amazing job converting the tennis courts to pickleball courts for the events. I didn't get a chance to play on any of the courts. I hope to play on them one fine day. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Restroom facilities are available throughout. The center court is amazing. It has bleachers on the west and east sides. I got the opportunity to sit on both sides. The sun will shine and the shade will eventually come. I had to move a few times during the matches to avoid the sun at certain times of the day. Free parking is plenty. It is shared with the soccer fields. Sometimes soccer events do take place, hence, parking lot will get really packed. Do come early to snatch a close parking spot on championship days. Otherwise, you may have to walk a bit from parking lot to entrance. I have enjoyed my visits very much. It's always fun and exciting to watch pro players play the spectacular sport of pickleball. I look forward to coming back to DTC for future PPA tournaments in the years to come. Darling Tennis Center has become home for the PPA Vegas pickleball tournaments, and I've spent a…read morefair amount of time at this facility... They do a great job transitioning the courts from tennis to pickleball, the staff is friendly, the restrooms are clean enough compared to others, and the mountain views are pretty beautiful too... There is plenty of parking for both this facility and that soccer fields on the same campus, which ironically, I've spent plenty of time at as well.

He is an excellent option for parents looking for competitive play and consistent hitting for their aspiring junior player. I wish I had him for my former top ranked junior player (son)years ago. He is very affordable at $30/hr for hitting lessons and $40 per hour for a private lesson. Though his closet courts are Frias Park Courts, he is willing to travel and charges a minimal $5 for driving outside a 5 mile radius, which is very fair He is a certified teaching instructor.

Each court is also elevated so that Court 5 sees down on Court 4 down to Court 3, etc. Court 1 is its own Stadium Court. This place can be packed so it's hard to get a court but it's a pleasure to play here. The Tennis Director Gordon and his staff are also very friendly people running lessons, clinics, you name it on Courts 1-3.

I am so incredibly happy with the progress that I have made since working together and this is reflected in the results that I have seen in my own game. I thoroughly enjoy each and every lesson and always feel like I am continuing to improve both my technique and strategy, while actively implementing the work we do in practice during my matchplay. From the start, I told Adrin I was willing to put in the time and work, so we would routinely do 3 hour non-stop lessons and he would absolutely push me all the way. Since we have been working together, I have won 3 leagues and 1 tournament at the 3.5-4.0 level, and it has only been a little over 2 years since I first started playing.

While I sat there watch him play, I wondered to myself why am I sitting here and not playing? I asked Wensey if I could join too and viola! She set the class up for me and my son!
