First- I called a couple other shops first and they could not see me within the span of several weeks. I get it, busy days. Then I called Rush's. From the moment the phone was answered I was treated like family. The woman who made the appointment was the kindest person- I felt like I had called my aunt! Then I was an hour late for my appointment. I had written the time down wrong- totally my fault. They accommodated me instantly anyway and had no issue or attitude with me! Amazing service and wonderful kind folks.

If you're wondering why I kept going back I needed the SmartStart service. If you don't know what that is, it is an interlock device in your car. If you're needing to get any services done for SmartStart I wish you luck through this experience but Rush's has overcharged me multiple times !!!!! When I got out I checked tires and front right was cupping and very worn due to us not rotating tires consistently. My bad...My whole family grandkids visiting us and I was feeling sick about taking the chance with bad tires up front. I went to his shop to get his expert opinion and he said he was slammed with jobs. I think he saw how desperate I was he said he'd slip me in and rotated and balanced my wheels in 20 minutes! Said tires were in need of replacing soon but would suffice till after holidays! He saved the day and I'll be able to sleep knowing we are safer. Jeep ran smooth and true. It's the little things that make Great Service. We are truly grateful.

I communicated the symptoms of my engine issues and he was responsive via email. Since there wasn't an earlier opening, he worked on my car day of appointment. He uses a platform called Tekmetric, which breaks down repairs by cost, description, photos. Brent was also communicative via text after I had questions about the estimate. For parts / labor, it wasn't a cheap repair and his turnaround time was professional. It was great to find someone in Steamboat that could easily service a '04 VW GTI.

Needless to say, my Subaru lost but the damage was minor enough that it wasn't worth it to file a claim in the end.
