They gave me a quote online - sent me a confirmation e-mail for the service that had a total of…read more$456.01. Then they send me a appointment confirmation via text. I had no plans to change it so i just confirmed it, but i decided to click into the appointment and the price had changed to $581 ! What? Must be a mistake, so i contact them and they say my original quote - which they sent me via e-mail - was invalid and the new price was $581. If I had driven to Silverthorne from Idaho Springs for my appointment and found that out it would have been a very unpleasant experience. How do you just change the price of an appointment like that without letting me know? Absurd. Oh, but I did discover AutoGlass Unlimited who will install the windshield at my house for $432 - so that's the silver lining - I now know who to go to to get my glass repaired and safelite IS NOT IT.

Came here to say to get my windshields repaired. They were able to squeeze me in last minute on the…read moreweekend. The staff were sooo nice and welcoming. The business was very clean and open. I was offered water when I was waiting. The window replacement did take long and they also showed us how the previous shop inserted the windshield incorrectly and ensured they were going to do it properly which they did. I'm not sure how much the cost would be since it was covered by my insurance but we will be going back in the future for any windshield repairs.

Karen at Crystal Clear was fantastic in dealing with the rental car company when several other auto glass companies refused. Most wanted us to pay upfront and chase down the rental car company for reimbursement. She also gave us the last appointment of the day so we would not miss too much skiing and offered to drive us to any shopping or dining places in town while the car was repaired. I ordered a glass pane for a window and I was given an estimate. At no point was I informed I needed to have a check before Rick would do the work. Rick cut the glass for my window, came out to repair it but because he didn't communicate I needed to have a check, he just didn't do the window. Rick is lazy and obviously doesn't care to do business with locals. I am not sure why anyone would recommend him and I certainly wouldn't recommend him.
