My issue was with replacement of plastic pulls- I hope no one out there has an actual structural or mechanical issue with shades installed by Brentwood Blinds! This company installed blinds in our bedroom. I ordered, chose fabric, and they installed fabric roman blinds. The whole point was to make our bedroom dark (south and west exposure), because I can't sleep with light in the room, which of course I made clear to them The blinds are beautiful, and the installation process was fine, but there are gaps all the way around all the windows. I called to ask about it (they installed during the day...) and they told me it's unavoidable because of the size of the window and the fabric I chose. COULD THEY NOT HAVE TOLD ME THAT WHEN I WAS MAKING MY SELECTION??? But no, they didn't mention it before they installed, which IMO means they knew it would happen and didn't tell me, or were making excuses. *Note the gap at the top in the photo!! So I have had to live with the semi-darkened room even tough I paid for Hunter Douglas blackouts. Fast forward 2 years, and the pulls start breaking, so my husband calls to ask for replacement pulls since they are Hunter Douglas and under warranty. Yes, the pulls are free from Hunter Douglas, but you have to pay for a service call on your almost $5000.00 shades because Hunter Douglas supplies free replacements (we called and they sent them) but we need more cash. 3 stars for the fact that they did deliver HD blinds, which they didn't make, but the actual installation of the blinds they should have told me not to get was fine. In fact, going up and changing it to 2 because good installation is not enough. We all pay up for service! I can get Hunter Douglas at Home Depot! I think.... So, I now need blinds in my kitchen because there are new owners next door, and I will go with Classic Blinds, a well respected shop here in the Nashville area. BTW: when we called Hunter Douglas and told them we needed new pulls and our local dealer wanted to charge *well over* $100.00 (pushing 200$) for "coming out to take a look" before replacement, Hunter Douglas said that was ridiculous and sent us replacements direct. We purchased two very expensive doors from them: a front storm door with sliding glass panels that open to a screen for fresh air, and a wrought iron security door. I was disappointed to discover that the security door requires a key to lock and unlock from both the inside and outside. While my husband may have ordered it that way, he is disabled and did not fully understand the safety implications. I tried explaining that this setup creates a serious concern for our family in the event of an emergency. Although I eventually accepted that situation, what happened next was even more disappointing. A part on our front screen door broke while it was still under warranty. What should have been a simple warranty repair turned into months of phone calls, office visits, and broken promises. Every time I called, I was told to speak with Bill. Later, I learned Bill only works on Fridays, yet I was repeatedly told he was "out of the office" or "at the bank." I never received clear communication or a sense that resolving my issue was a priority. I have over 20 years of customer service experience, and I know how important it is to keep your word. When customers spend their hard-earned money on premium products, they deserve prompt, respectful service after the sale. Instead, I felt like my warranty repair wasn't important because larger commercial accounts took priority. I explained that both of my children were coming home from the military and that our air conditioning had stopped working. I simply wanted the screen door repaired so we could let fresh air into our home. Despite explaining our circumstances several times, nothing seemed to move the process forward. As a business owner myself, I believe customer service doesn't end when the sale is complete. It's about treating people with respect, honoring your commitments, and standing behind the products you sell. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Mid State Doors. The doors themselves may be quality products, but based on my experience, the after-sale customer service and warranty support have been extremely disappointing.

Our personal experience: When we called Zinga's in early April of 2021 (2 months before our house…read morewas to be finished) we were put in touch with Jess (their salesman). Jess (no longer with Zinga's) came out in early May to measure for not only shutters but black out shades for all the bedrooms and the entire rest of the house....Not a small project nor small amount of revenue that was to be spent. On May 23rd I paid them $15k (75%) deposit for a $20k order. Jess was all about the guarantee, the customer service, the traditional value prop etc....However this would be an journey. We moved in on June 11 and Jess provided us with temporary thin shades (which was fine as it was something - knowing our shades were supposed to be only 4 more weeks, and the shutters end of July. After not hearing from Jess for over 2-3 weeks I decided to call to get status on our order. Come to find out Jess left the company and no one had reached out to let us know what was going on. After getting a hold of corporate, we came to find out he put the order in 6 weeks late causing us to experience a huge delay. It's now End of July and still nothing! Insert Taylor - Sales Manager after fighting with corporate to get some status and resolution. Taylor ensures me the shades will be in by 8/13. Several emails exchanged later and finally we got some shades installed on 8/18. 13 shads in total were supposed to be installed (now more than 70 days later) and only 6 were measured properly. The installer left said they would have to reorder and remeasure. Taylor did come out to our home remeasure which then required them to check the shutter order and low and behold there were multiple wrong there as well. Fast forward through conversations with Taylor - his boss Todd, messages sent to the owner, and many more delays of getting the product from the manufacturers. The week of installation finally arrived - October 11. Blinds were finally right, Shutters were also right and the installation men did a good job installing but a poor job cleaning up. 1 broken slat and 2 arch shutters toll to be delivered and installed. Zinga's (once engaging several layers of management) did come through at the end with a credit (below my expectations) but an agreement that was accepted by me to clear this matter so we could both move on. I do believe this as an isolated incident as I have read many reviews that given Zinga's high marks for being a great company to work with. I have rated them 5 stars due to our agreement and to edit my post which was previously a 1 star based on the experience we had up to our agreement on October 20. Caveat Emptor.
