I needed a dumpster within a certain time frame and the phone boy assured me it was possible after checking. When the time frame was about to pass & I called & phone lady put in a request for an e.t.a. & said someone would get back to me & no one did but, a half hour later Driver man pulled up, and with humor announced that he doesn't do technology. He showed me he had been sent this job, this morning, & was sitting around bc he "won't click on stuff" on his ph - they have to "write it out or call me". This was not humorous to me bc it affected the people's work that I was paying to wait for this dumpster. // Also, was charged for being over weight. Saw this mentioned on other reviews & it's been suggested it's a scam. IDK about that, can't prove anything, but them keeping my card on file 120 days I'm not crazy about. // Also was bombarded with enormous amount of email and text that was overkill. This company overcharged for the dumpster we rented. After calling and speaking to someone, describing the exact items that were going to be put in there, we were given a quote for the rental. The dumpster was barely half full when they picked it up since they recommended a larger dumpster than we actually needed. After three months went by, they messaged me demanding more money and charged my credit card without my permission. As a business, we would not deliver such customer service to our customers. We rented a dumpster for a Siding Job. Tried to get copy of the contract via email from Joe, no response. Got way overcharged and when we questioned these charges, we were met with less then acceptable customer service. We were told we kept the Dumpster a month past our time. We have never paid over $900 for a dumpster on a siding job. And the daily charge included Saturday & Sunday? Really? And they tried to tell us siding jobs only take 3 days. I rented a 30 yard dumpster to gut a small kitchen, living and dining room. 572 square feet total. All it consisted of was plaster, drywall, small pieces of wood and some kitchen cabinets. I was initially going to go with a 20 yard but switched to a 30 yard to make sure I was covered and there wouldn't be any issues. Well I have an issue. They charged me an overage feet with the total weight being 4.82 tons. I was only allowed 3 tons. There is absolutely no way I was over. Everyone working at the house agrees. The dumpster wasn't even full. 3/4 full if that. Budget Dumpster should rename to Over Budget Dumpster. read more

This company is a scam, do not rent from them. Upon ordering our 3rd dumpster from the company the driver refused to drop off the dumpster citing that the driveway was not level and despite receiving 2 larger dumpsters from the same company without issue. They then charged me a $150 trip fee for the dumpster they did not deliver. Next day a different company delivered a dumpster obviously without issue. Repeated attempts to contact the company to dispute the charge resulted in nothing, will file with BBB and hand it over to our attorney, already wasted enough time on this. read more

Everything went perfectly to order the 10 yard dumpster. Delivery and pickup was horrible. They drove all over the sides of the street, yard, and driveway causing deep ruts all over the place. They damaged our property and the neighbors. The company is stating they are not responsible for any damage whatsoever. BEWARE! ... AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Budget Dumpster are total scumbags who will rip you off every single time it cost me $1,500 just to haul off a pile of empty cardboard boxes they make a lot more money running scams, and ripping off clients, than they do from actually providing honest dumpster rentals here is how they ripped me off on the last job ... you will see how they were totally inept, incompetent, and crooked at every step driver was supposed to call before he delivered the dumpster, so i could meet him on-site ... driver did not call driver showed up and bullied my daughter ... she told him to put the dumpster where the last five dumpsters were placed, in the driveway at the rear of the house ... but driver refused ... and placed it in the front of the house this turned a 5 hour job into a 25 hour job ... instead of the dumpster being 10 feet from the pile of junk in the back yard, each load had to be carried an extra 75 feet to the front of the house ... in zero degree temperatures with two feet of snow on the ground ... this cost me an extra $500 in labor costs even though there was plenty of room to either side, for some reason, the driver placed the dumpster less than a foot from the house this left a huge open gap in the dumpster, as we could not get near enough, or throw the loads far enough to fill the north side ... the dumpster ended up only 75% filled because of this driver was supposed to call me before he picked up the dumpster, so i could meet him on-site... i was sitting there waiting for his call ... but, yet again ... the driver did not call ... the driver showed up unannounced... daughter's boyfriend was letting the dogs out in the back yard ... his car was in driveway ... driver claims he knocked on front door, before driving away without the dumpster ... he made no attempt to try knocking on the back door, or even to look in the backyard (clearly visible from the street) where boyfriend was with the dogs, waiting to move his car in case the driver showed up budget dumpster loves these situations ... as they then charge an extra $150 return trip fee to come back and pick up the dumpster ... they have no motivation to try to reach the client on-site, or on the phone, as they make easy money by scheduling these return trips but their biggest scam was still to come ... the "weight ticket" from the landfill showed up a month later ... they charged my credit card another $400 ... claiming that my 1 ton dumpster had weighed 5 1/2 tons! ... this is physically impossible the dumpster was only 75% full ... of broken down cardboard boxes ... their claim that it weighed 5 1/2 tons is preposterous ... 13,000 pounds !!! ... that is like stacking FIVE CARS in a little one ton dumpster! ... and that would be 25 feet of steel towering above the top ... in fact, even if the dumpster was full of bricks, it wouldn't weigh half that much ... it's physically impossible to fit 5 1/2 tons in a 1 ton dumpster this is another one of their favorite scams ... they play games with the weight tickets... they obviously switched my weight ticket with someone else's ... or mixed it up with somebody else's ... or just created a fake one or, seeing that it wasn't even full all the way, switched my dumpster with another, much heavier one, from a different job site, on their way to the landfill the company spent less than one minute trying to reach me to avoid this whole situation ... they just sat back and let it happen ... and yet, they are willing to argue about it endlessly ... with generic cut and paste responses it is easy to see that they have much experience at running, and defending, these scams, and have become experts at ripping people off it is in their best interest for things to go wrong ... for cars to block the drive-way ... for you to not hear them knocking on your door... or to miss their phone call ... they make easy money that way they can create fake weight tickets, and charge your credit card for the overage charges ... even if it's a legitimate weight ticket, there is no way to prove that that ticket was for your dumpster and not somebody else's through fine print in the contract, they have found numerous shady ways to fleece the consumer and triple their profits on every job I ran out of room to list my complaints here NEVER rent a dumpster from budget dumpster... They do not stick within a BUDGET!! We have rented from Budget Dumpster in the past and always filled the dumpster and even over the top filled it... and never had a problem, until this time. We had some household junk to get rid of, and some yard waste too - an old dresser, a bunch of broken plastic pots, an old kitchen table, 2 cracked toilets, some old garden hoses, and 2 old ceiling fans - there was more small stuff... and a local scrapper took all the metal out and when the driver came to pickup the dumpster he asked us if we had anything else because there was still room in the dumpster... a week later they charged my credit card for an "OVERAGE" - no way. I listed what was in there and even told them about the scrapper taking all the metal and them getting back a dumpster with room in it... I'm sorry I didn't take a picture - their driver did, but it's too close and you can't really see the entire dumpster. Anyway, they said they had no control over the overage charges as another party disposes of the waste at a landfill. I think they mixed up my dumpster with someone else's or mine had something dumped in it because it had space... either way the people at Budget Dumpster would not help me out or consider my side - they said they had no control over it... I don't know who sets these weight limits, but I know I have gone over in the past and never paid any overage charges... I thought that's what made them "BUDGET" - well, not anymore. I phoned Budget Dumpster and spoke with their representative on a Friday, and requested the dumpster be removed that day. Unfortunately, the representative informed me that would not be able to remove the dumpster until the following Monday (as they are not open on weekends)...and then they still didn't pick up the dumpster until approximately 5:00 PM. Shysters!! This was beyond belief. This company destroyed my parents beautiful tile driveway as the wheels on the trailer they used to down load the dumpster did not spin. The driver forced the dumpster the length of the driveway, gauging the tile the entire way. He said the subcontracted company, Waste management, was in charge and to call them for issues. Neither they nor the original company I contracted with, Budget Dumpster, would address the poor workmanship and blatant damage done to the drive because of faulty equipment and a careless unskilled operator. I was left with thousands of dollars of damage to deal with myself, neither would take responsibility or agree to any compromise to fix the damage. I had no idea this line of business was so completely unethical and bordered on fraud. To send out faulty equipment and workers and to ignore the photographic evidence of the damage should be more than enough to close them down and protect other unwary customers. Budget Dumpsters has an up front cheaper cost than most dumpster companies, but they nickel and dime you for everything. Nothing is stated in the paperwork provided what is considered overfilled. Because the dumpster being "overfilled" the company charged $150 for coming out and not taking the dumpster. I can accept that charge. We had removed debris from the dumpster enough to not be considered "overfilled" and contacted the company to come back and pick up the dumpster. They apparently came to pick up the dumpster and stated it was too heavy and needed to come back with a bigger truck. This should not be the customer's fault that they did not have a big enough truck. Because of this, we have occurred another $150 fee. There is no way to know that the dumpster is overweight. When speaking with a supervisor over the issue, the supervisor was non-sympathetic or understanding about the situation. The supervisor continued to keep blaming me for knowing when the dumpster was too heavy. Unfortunately I did not weigh everything when placing in the dumpster to know whether the dumpster was overweight. Most of the debris in the dumpster is wood, old doors, brush and some old garden tools. The dumpster company keeps stating there is dirt in the dumpster, but the only dirt in the dumpster is from the root ball of a bush. We have taken the time to remove as much dirt from the root as possible, the rest is unable to come off. I have never heard of a dumpster company being so particular about the weight after being filled. read more
