This company is criminal. We called and ordered a 22' long dumpster after looking at choices on their website. The dumpster was to be 22' long by 4' high. Today they came to deliver a 8' tall dumpster. No where do they even show 8' tall on their website. The company that brought it was contracted out by them. We told the driver this is not what we ordered. He said his company doesnt carry the shorter models. He said he wouldn't leave it and for us to call budget. We called budget and was told there would be 150 fee to bring another dumpster. We were transfered to a supervisor. She said that on their website they describe that they do not guarentee the dementions. We had read the rental contract and see no mention that the demetions are not guarenteed. No where do we see they do not guarentee the demetions on their website. She said she'd find out where this is located on the website and call us back. Waiting on her call we went over contract details again and read every part of the website. When she called she said if we'd watched a video on the website it was in the video that they do not guarentee the dementions. We said "So your company expects us to watch a video on your website to learn this." She said "Yes." We asked to talk to a manager. She said managers do not take calls. We asked if they have a dumpster in the size we ordered, and was told none were available. She said If we had trouble with the 150.00 fee we'd have to take that up with our bank. She said we will cancel the order but we will be keeping 150.00. After we got off the phone we watched the video. There is nothing in the video that says they will not honor the dementions of the order. This company has a raket going. No where on their website, contract or video do they tell you they can disregard what was ordered and dispatch anything they want to your home. Then charge you 150.00 because they don't have what you ordered. They don't even show 8' tall dumpsters on their website but expected us to take it. The supervisor blatently lied when she said the website says they do not guarentee the dementions in your order. Then lied again when she said it was in a video on the website. How can companies lie like this to customers? They misrepresented every aspect of the agreement we had with them. Even lied to us and now keep 150.00 of our money. As my Dad always said when Jessie James robbed people he used a gun. This company uses misleading photos and information on the internet to rob people. I would avoid this company at all costs. Maybe you order a short dumpter and they bring you a 20' long one. I know how that will go. You'll be charged 150 if they have no place to put it. They won't come pick up my dumpster when I need them to. I have photographer coming to my home to take pictures. They gave me a dumpster with porta johns. They refuse to pick it up earlier. I am not paying for anything thing than 10 days. I did what I was required to do! I requested pick up how I was supposed. I need pictures to sell my home. I decided to eat the additional 50.00 fee which I don't agree with but , paid because life is short and I'm the fool who fell for this stunt. I sent a money order/cashiers check drawn on my bank, for 50.00 "overage fee" made out to BD and delivered to their address ( they will receive by Sept 8) Of course, now they claim they cannot accept money orders/checks ( this is from the person who gave me their mailing address to send payment to) . They claim they need a personal check and have no way to cash a MO/Cashiers check drawn on a major Bank. Yeah right! Who uses personal checks anymore? What, you don't have a business' bank account? Update to prior review: I left a one star review on 8/16/2023. This morning I received a call to discuss our account. The "trip fee" was refunded, as well as the weekly dumpster rental ($520). Budget Dumpster came to our house twice. We noticed they stopped and never left with the dumpster. We were confused as to why they left without picking up the dumpster. We then called to inquire. Instead of BD proactively reaching out to us to let us know they thought there might be an issue, we had to reach out to them. It's so fun to wait on 20 minute holds in the middle of the day to find out what's going on. 2. So here's the issue they claimed: The dumpster was overweight and could not be picked up until it was offloaded. A) They NEVER actually were able to weigh the dumpster (multiple contractors we consulted said BD's math was off and IT WAS NOT TOO HEAVY). This is because they are a third-party and don't actually own the end-to-end process of dropping off and picking up dumpsters. B) Also, their service agreement HAS NO WEIGHT LIMIT. They only say you have to pay $55 more if you are over 2 tons. So then why is there now a weight limit? 3. Because they refused to pick up our dumpster, we had to get someone else to come and offload some of it. Costing us more. 4. They then charged us an additional service fee of $150 because they claimed they would have to come out another time to pick up the dumpster although. We are trying now to dispute that with our credit card company. read more

Dumpster was misplaced and when I requested that it be moved, I was charged additional fees which were not disclosed. Customer service was terrible and refused to accept my explanation, including that a car that they claimed was in the way could be moved immediately. I ended up paying for their mistake -- which seemed like a scam. Why place the dumpster as requested and then just charge extra for misplacing it? Do not use Budget Dumpster, they are rogues! Sadly, my Mom referred me to Budget Dumpster because she had a good experience with them. That said, I did not. A 20 yard dumpster was supposed to be delivered on Friday, 6/11/21. It was not delivered until Monday, 6/14/21 (without consent at that point) as I canceled the delivery multiple times, through multiple means (via email, phone, and text). And the driver put in the garbage bags that were lined in front of the driveway into the dumpster, again, without consent. From their welcome email: Your dumpster can arrive anytime during the day of the delivery date. Your delivery date is noted on the attached order confirmation. While we make every effort to ensure timely and reliable delivery and pick up, factors beyond our control, such as weather, traffic, and delays at the landfill can impact our service schedule. How does a company think it's professional to deliver a dumpster three days later without calling the customer to determine if the need still exists? Why would they help themselves to putting trash into the dumpster that was canceled by the customer three days earlier? And how do they expect it appropriate and acceptable to charge full price rather than give a full refund to the customer? Hold times are 30-50 minutes to speak with anyone. They provide an option to text, you will wait for a day or more for a response. This is not the way to run a business. I have been more than reasonable at seven, almost eight months pregnant in light of their lack of professionalism and communication. This has been beyond frustrating, ridiculous, and I keep thinking on the old MTV show Punked and that a production crew is going to pop out of the bushes and say, "You've been punked!" Edited to add: I spoke with Laura (Billing) who said I would be charged $148 for all of this mess. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was connected with Jade, whom I spoke with on Monday. On Monday, Jade was polite, professional, and helpful. Today (Wednesday) when I'm attempting to hold this disreputable company of thieves to account, Jade showed up as disrespectful, unprofessional, and unhelpful and told me that I would be charged full price because - get this! - they upheld their end of the contract, what a joke! They are maintaining that I "used" the dumpster. Their dispatch driver put the trash into the dumpster without my consent to make room for the dumpster in the driveway, mind you, this is the same dumpster I canceled since they didn't bother to show up on time or give me an accurate estimate of when the dumpster would arrive. One of my family members had to remove the trash bags from the dumpster so that I could get a refund which they are now refusing. I am also going back and forth with them via a BBB complaint I filed as they dig their heels maintaining they upheld their end of the contract. I also submitted a review via Trustpilot and they requested additional information. I know they will attempt to lie about some more. My encouragement, if you have been mistreated by Budget Dumpster, file a BBB complaint and write as many reviews as you can to prevent and save others from using this disreputable company since they are unethical and will steal from you and lie about it. read more

Excellent customer service! They were prompt with delivering the dumpster and even switched it out and brought a new one same day. The drivers were professionals. We have a narrow street and several neighborhood cars parked on the street and they maneuvered my street and driveway with ease. Competitively priced. read more

Ordered a dumpster for delivery yesterday, show up today and there is no dumpster. Called them yesterday to make sure they are delivering and they said it was on it's way to being delivered. Tried calling them today but they are closed. I have family from hours away that came in for this and now it cannot be done. Awful read more

I ordered a dumpster because I had to evict a tenant. I ordered the 20 cu ft dumpster and we had it filled within a day or two. I called for them to pick it up but they left it a few more days. We found additional junk in the basement area that we wasn't aware of, so I called to get another dumpster thinking since this is the second one I ordered and they still hadn't picked up the first one I might be able to get a discount. Of course that was a no-- so I ordered the additional dumpster from another company. You would think that since I do own rental properties and will probably need dumpsters again they would have tried to work with me but they didn't. Don't get me wrong they delivered the dumpster and picked it up with no problem I just feel they didn't try to earn by business. The other company I used was about the same price so I am ok with what happened. read more

The mixup shouldn't have happened in the first place and had I not been so sure of how much my material weighed this probably would've slipped past me. I rented a 15 yard dumpster from Budget Dumpster in Cincinnati and had a perfect experience. The cost was significantly less than other companies and rental period a week longer, which was great. The dumpster was delivered two days after my initial phone call and picked up promptly two weeks later. The whole process was super easy and my house is much less cluttered! I would recommend Budget Dumpster in Cincinnati to anyone who has a project big or small. I have given the name and number to several friends who saw dumpster at my house! read more

When I ordered the dumpster this company said that if anything is obstructing the driveway there would be $150 fee for them to have to come back. I thought okay no big deal there won't be any vehicles in the driveway. They called me after they attempted to send the dumpster and said that the street was too narrow and that the driveway was too narrow. They charged me $150 dollars because the street was too narrow. They were absolutely unapologetic on the phone and unwilling to refund the money after I had told them on the phone that my driveway is tricky they asked nothing about the size of the street or the width of the driveway. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I ordered the second smallest dumpster that they offer and there was no phone call at time of delivery where I would have told them to leave it in the yard if you need to. I rent several dumpsters a year for my construction business. This is the first time and the last time I will use Budget Dumpster Rental. When I ordered the dumpster I went over my concerns with cars parked on a narrow street and requested a call ahead so that we could get vehicles moved. After several calls throughout the day I was unable to get any information as to an estimated ETA. I never received a call prior to there delivery attempt. I did receive a call informing me that they were unable to deliver and that they would be charging my credit card $150. When asked why it couldn't be delivered I was told that there was a low hanging branch. When I told him the delivery trucks had no problem getting in under the branches I was told that their trucks with a dumpster are 15 feet tall. Makes me wonder how they can go anywhere as most overpasses don't have that kind of clearance. After several minutes on the phone, the reasons for not making the delivery kept changing. In my opinion this company is one of the worst I've ever dealt with. I'm not sure if they actually have dumpsters or if they make their money on their delivery scam. If you actually expect to get a dumpster for your money, you need to call someone else. read more
