My sister passed away the week the dumpster was to be dropped off, and I knew I was going to be charged a fee for the postponed dropoff date delay. They were so kind and didn't charge me. After I got back, I called and gave them the new dropoff date and everything was back on track to clean out my garage and purge four years worth of house stuff. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I would strongly advise anyone considering Budget Dumpster to think twice before doing business with them. First of all, these people are not an actual dumpster company--they are brokers. They don't own any dumpsters, which makes dealing with them a nightmare when there's an issue. Here's what happened: I was charged an invalid $195 "failed trip" fee, which they claimed was because my dumpster was "overloaded past the brim." That was completely false. It then took five days of calling and leaving messages just to finally get Amelia on the phone to dispute this ridiculous charge. When I did, she was absolutely no help and just repeated the same excuse over and over. Zero effort to resolve the situation. In the end, I had to go to my bank and dispute the charge myself because they clearly had no intention of making it right. The whole process was frustrating, unprofessional, and a total waste of time. If you need a dumpster, stay far away from these people. Go to a real local dumpster company, not these shady brokers. They lure you in, tack on surprise fees, and then hide behind their so-called "agreement." Be warned--Budget Dumpster is sketchy, and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company. In my experience: - They do not own the dumpsters, they will subcontract which means they cant control effectively when it will arrive or be removed. - They will simply make up charges and not provide any backup. When you point out the charges have no backup they will send it to collections to intimidate you. I ordered and scheduled the dumpster on Oct. 24 and Paid in Full. The Dumpster from Budget Dumpster was scheduled to be delivered on Nov. 18, 2022 so my work crew could begin work on Nov. 19. I received a confirmation email that the dumpster would be delivered on Nov. 18. But it did not arrive. The dumpster was delivered 5 days later, on Nov. 23, long after my work crew was done and had left. They had no choice but to leave the debris in my yard. I had to hire another crew to pick up the debris and put it into the now late dumpster. I called Budget Dumpster Customer Service many times from Nov.18 to Nov.23. I was told various things such as: a)The delivery is on a 1 to 2 day window b)It was already delivered, which it was not. None of the individuals that I spoke with were authorized to do anything and I was always waiting on a callback from a Manager. I called to get a 50% refund so that I could use half of the $650 that I paid for the dumpster to pay the 2nd crew I hired who had to pick up the debris and place it in the dumpster. AVOID THIS COMPANY . they tell you it is a 2 ton maximum and there is no way to tell the weight you will be dumping . I rented a dumpster from them and it was 3/4 full ( I actually had to rent a second dumpster from another company ) and still they claims that I went over the weight limit and ended up charging and extra $93. I do not recommend this company they have charged my card numerous times in the ammount of almost a thousand dollars for supposed overages and there is no way to dispute them due to not having any control over them or there billing and all they do is just say oh well!! I scheduled my 30 yard dumpster rental weeks ago, which they told me would be for 10 days. A week later they called to say it would only be for 7 days. Then today they called and said that they did not have any 30 yard dumpsters in stock, and offered a 20 yard. I reluctantly said yes. Then they put me on hold and came back and said they did not even have them. This is 4 days before it was supposed to be delivered. Never again. We used this company while we were remodeling a house. We went through 3 dumpsters (2 for household trash, 1 for construction debris) and had zero problems. They were quick, always courteous, and very helpful. They were by far the cheapest rental company in our area and made the whole thing so easy. Worst service ever. We called multiple times all day asking what time they will be dropping off the dumpster - they replied it's confirmed but they can't say exactly when, any time between 8am-6pm. We called at 9am, 1pm and then we finally called at 330pm and they finally tell me they will call dispatch and call me back. 30 minutes later no call back, I call at 400pm and say I want to cancel because I wasted a whole day's work waiting for the dumpster and they tell me it'll be there in an hour and they wanted to make sure my gated community can accept a delivery at 5pm - and they won't give me a full return if I cancel the same day. and then at 5pm I get a call from the driver saying they are on the way but it'll take an hour to get there. The driver never ended up making it by 6pm and I asked again to return the dumpster since they did not honor their commitment to deliver the dumpster 8-6pm and I was told by their manager that they can't waive the $150 cancellation fee. Driver is playing games. It has not rained for 5 days and driver keeps refusing to pick up the load because he says it is to muddy. It is not muddy at all. He has canx'd twice with no show and no call both times. He is wasting my time and he will waste yours also. Company apparently has no control over the drivers. I have talked to corporate twice and they support the drivers decision. Drivers on both pick up days lied and said he drove to the site and found conditions to muddy. Driver was a no show both times. He is lying and the company is backing him. They need to see for themselves because this driver is making a fool out of of them. This is in Tulsa. The dumpster was delivered in a timely manner. Driver was whining about the mud before he ever got to the house. Driver needs to man up and do his job or find a new job where the tires never get muddy. I would imagine lots of dumpsters go on the grass and that means mud. read more

Do NOT use this company. They will charge your card for overages when you clearly HAVE NOT gone over your limit. I think they must combine dumpsters so they only have 1 dumpster to dump then charge one or BOTH of the customers for overages. I re roofed a 1000 sq ft home with only roofing shingles in the dumpster. It was 1/4 of the way full. They tried to charge my cc w/o even informing me~ I was ONLY informed because my BANK thankfully declined the charge as fraud~ otherwise, they would have just arbitrarily charged my card. But the bank already saw a charge from over a month ago, therefore declined the transaction. THEN I was notified from Budget Dumpster~ What a joke these people are. The upfront pricing was good but I ended up paying an additional $50 for an overage of weight. I only had decking wood, some sheet metal and an old couch and pillows in it and it was under the fill line. The only way it could have been over on weight is if the guy dropping off the dumpster angled it to where the water would accumulate in the dumpster and it didn't drain properly before weighing it. Update (05/15/17): Budget Dumpster's Billing Manager (Michael Hall) said he would give me a $138.50 credit but ONLY if I take down my negative review on Yelp. I tried to dispute this with my credit card company, even showing them the email with documentation regarding Michael Hall's statement to give me a credit. BE WARNED! THEY WILL BLACKMAIL YOU IF YOU POST A NEGATIVE REVIEW!!! You will not get your money back! I cannot believe a company would put it in writing that they would give me a credit and then not do so!!!! Original Post: Picked up the wrong dumpster and then charged me for additional weight!! I called for a pick up on Friday and I requested a morning pick up. Come 2 o'clock in the afternoon my dumpster is still sitting on my job site. At 4pm they tell me they've picked up the dumpster. I arrive back to the job at 5pm, only to see my dumpster is still sitting there!! They picked up someone else's dumpster. How do you do that?!?! You dropped it off to my location, how do you then pick up the wrong dumpster? So I didn't get a Friday pick up and they told me they don't work weekends. My entire job site was on time, all of my subcontractors, everything - EXCEPT for Budget Dumpster. They were late picking up my dumpster. Then on top of that they charged me an additional $138 for being over weight. In 5 years of business and renting dumpsters I've never been overweight and now that they picked up someone else's dumpster they are going to charge me for that weight. They have done NOTHING to resolve this problem, no credit, and really not even a sincere apology. After being a day late and picking up the wrong dumpster you would think that they would give me some sort of a refund for all of this headache, and instead have the audacity to charge me more money. I will never use them again! Oh, and they kept blaming their problems on Waste Management because they are a subcontractor for Waste Management. Absolutely terrible. My mother died and lives in Orlando. My family and I live in Michigan. I rented a dumpster two weeks before the next time we were flying down. The dumpster was supposed to be delivered 12/16. When we arrived on 12/17 the was no dumpster and the office was closed. We called on Monday and they said their truck broke down and they were going to deliver on Sunday but no one answered the phone, which was untrue. We were leaving on Tuesday and needed the dumpster asap. They said they would deliver in an hour and a half. Two hours later we called back and they stated their truck was still broken down and they could not deliver that day....So how were they going to deliver on Sunday? They were not. Thank god we found a wonderful small company who saved the day. The sole purpose for the trip was to clean out my mothers house and airplanes tickets are expensive and due to Budget Dumpsters the whole trip was almost a waste. Delivery was prompt, however when we asked them to pick it up they showed up a day late, and had problems picking up the container. Then after numerous phone calls and going back and forth they finally picked up the container and charged us an additional 860.00 for late fees even though several people in our company called almost on a daily basis to have the container picked up. I ordered a dumpster on a Friday for Monday delivery...and pickup for Wednesday. I thought the process of the order went fairly well, until it showed up on the next day (Saturday) and was picked up on Monday morning. Not exactly sure how a specific order was messed up that bad, but my request wasn't an issue to the man taking my order. I explained I had an HOA to adhere too so it couldn't be on the property more than 3 days. Not to mention, after you pay for the order they send you a lengthy contract about changes to the order will result in a $150 fee and all these other fees if *I* didn't hold up my end of the order, yet when they admit they screwed up all they could compensate me was $35. I also think you're not dealing with anyone in one office with this company. You get transferred from one person to the next. The dumpster had a different name on it, than the company I called which was "Budget Dumpster".... which confused me initially when it showed up on the wrong day. I thought possibly it may have been someone else's dumpster at the wrong address. The least they could do is be more informative and describe that the dumpster will be provided by another company. And maybe add a clause to their contract that errors on their part would also incurr the same fees! I'll make sure next time I need a dumpster, I'm dealing with one that's locally owned and you speak to the same person each time. read more

I called and gave measurements of everything we needed to rent a dump which included our backyard deck, flooring of our entire house, a picnic table, 2 massive sheds as well as things unneeded in the shed. We were recommended a 15ft dumpster which cost $329, never were we offered to pay $100 more we can get a 20ft dumpster. The gentleman that took my husbands recommendations said the 15ft would even be too big. Our flooring alone filled up 1/3rd of the dumpster. It seems like this is a shady business because when I called to complain they offered to send a new dumpster for $309 taking a whole $20 off. How's that for customer service on their mistake of recommending way too small of a dumpster. The supervisor that I spoke to, Tony, remained so calm that it seems like this is a planned way to make their customers pay more money by needing to rent double and spend double. I do not recommend this company. Find you business elsewhere. We still have an entire shed in a our backyard completely intact. read more
