Johnny Greco (salesperson) appeared to be an honest person and although my wife and I were not at the location needing the fence, Johnny kept us informed. Four stars are given because the work crew had to come back out the next day to remove wood that was left behind, and re-install the lock from the previous gate that was removed and left on the ground. Short Review: Great Company, Strongly Recommend. Long Review: we purchased our home late last year and the fence situation was a mess. Our side and back fences were torn apart and falling down (old wooden & chain link fences). I contacted a few contractors for estimates and decided to go with Budget Fence, they were not the cheapest quote, but the salesman Joseph, was very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable about the options available, and I was most comfortable with him. The office staff Cindy, June and Jennifer (sorry if I got any of your names wrong) were very informative and kept me up to date throughout the process. The installers Candy? & his son and another guy were very clean, professional and performed great quality work. I also had a great conversation with the owner Brian, and he is very personable. We had 220 feet of white PVC vinyl privacy fence installed, which took them 3 days to do. It changed the entire look of our backyard and also added a nice curb appeal. Easily one of the best projects we've completed so far on our home. I would definitely recommend them, I have also attached a few before and after pictures. read more

We worked with Tom who was a very nice guy. At the end of the day, he misled us in the process for payments. We were told we would not have any payments for 12 months under their financing. Not only were payments due before they even started any of the work but the interest rates are through the roof. I specifically asked multiple times too, to make sure this wouldn't happen and they assured me it would not. Very disappointed and I would never use or recommend again. read more

This fence company did a great job installing the fence BUT (and this is a big BUT) the office crew literally took 4 months to get a permit issued by the Village and the fence installed because of the ineptness of the people working in their office. They originally asked for paperwork to be filled out and surveys etc, all of which were given to them in a timely manner. Again and again, over and over, they kept asking for the same paperwork which was given to them several times. Whether they lost the papers or they are on another planet, we don't know. All we do know is, it took 4 months from the time they were given a deposit to the time they installed the fencing. They even came to our home and were handed the paperwork which they then said they never received!!! Many phone calls for nothing and much time wasted because of the staff. Do we recommend them? NO! Started the process with Frank Donth on April 25th, nothing was done with the city for over two months. No calls back, no emails, nothing! I was looking for someone to help me for weeks, the only response I kept getting was "Frank has been extremely busy". After almost 3 months I'm still waiting for a fence, I provided them with a deposit over a month ago. The permit was never submitted on time and I had to be updating them with the permit process, the permit was approved by the city after a week it was submitted and now I have to wait for someone to call me from a week to two weeks so they can arrange my installation date? Nonsense! If I had the choice do to business with them again I wouldn't!!!! The most unprofessional company to deal with. read more

I met with a representative of Budget Fence in June 2020 in order to arrange replacement of about 85 running feet of old existing fencing at a property I had previously purchased and was living in. I gave the representative my survey and was told that the fence could be replaced as it stood and that I had only to choose a style. I chose a style. I signed a contract for purchase and installation in the amount of $7,900.00. I made a deposit of $3,950.00 on June 11, 2020. I was told that installation would probably take place within the next 6 to 8 weeks. I waited. About two months later I was contacted by another representative of Budget Fence. I was told that my permit application was rejected because the fence I had chosen was not allowed in the community where I lived. I was further told that there were only two fence styles that my community allowed. When I asked why I was not told that several months earlier, in effect, I was told that my salesperson was ignorant and unfamiliar. I chose one of the two accepted styles and they reapplied for a permit. That style fence was cheaper than the one I had initially chosen. After several further communications, I was finally given a credit of $1,800.00 for using the cheaper fencing material. Finally in November, 2020, the fence was installed. It failed inspection because part of the installation ran over to my neighbors property, a state of facts that was clearly indicated on the survey I had given to Budget Fence back in June. A new fence positioning was figured out so that my fence would remain on my property and not upon my neighbors'. The new fence utilized about half of the material required for the fence that was originally contemplated, which is approximately 40 running feet less of fencing material. Budget Fence took out the original fence they installed and reinstalled the new shortened fence. The fence again failed inspection because part of it was placed on an easement, which was also clearly indicated on the survey I had given to Budget Fence in June of 2020. After much ado and countless communications with Budget Fence, the new installation, about half the size of what was originally contemplated, was approved in April of 2021, some 10 months after I had contracted to replace the fence. After many more communications, I was finally afforded a credit to reflect the 40 running feet less of fencing material that was ultimately used in the final structure. Budget Fence and I arrived at an agreed price for me to pay of $1,227.80 for the balance owed to Budget fence for the shortened fence of lesser cost than the one I originally chose. I was then told that for me to receive this full credit for my fence installation, I would have to agree to a non disclosure agreement and promise to never repeat to anyone what my experiences with Budget Fence were. I refused to do that. Ultimately we agreed to a final payment of $1,477.80 to be paid to Budget Fence by me WITHOUT my promise not to repeat the facts of my Budget Fence experience to anyone. It cost me $250.00 to be able to recount here what my experience was, which I chose to pay so that I could warn others and so that Budget Fence would possibly have some consequence for their very poor job in every way in the handling my fence installation. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND BUDGET FENCE TO ANYWAY. read more

We had our fence installed in Feb. '18 after Hurricane Irma knocked down the old one. They did a pretty good job but some of the gates weren't aligned perfectly. Over time, it started getting harder and harder to open and close them. A couple weeks ago, I sent pictures to Budget Fence. Justin came out and apologized for not having inspected the work after completion due to increased demand after the hurricane. He came back out and fixed everything free of charge. The fence and all the gates now look great and work perfectly. We are very happy with their work and their work ethic. Highly recommended! read more

We hired Budget Fence & Gate Systems. We had just completed building a brand new home in West Palm Beach and we needed a fence because we have pets, small children and we also enjoy our privacy. I searched for fencing companies and found their impressive website. I called to schedule an appointment. I had a total of five companies quote out my project and Budget Fence was the most friendly, most prepared and gave us a fair price. They were the best choice hands down. The owner Brian and the entire crew were friendly and helpful, especially Reggie, Lenny, and both Romeo's!!! The office staff is super organized and always friendly when I call. I let them know what I had in mind and they brought out a bunch of samples right to my home. We chose the durable vinyl privacy fence in a beautiful dark mocha color. The work was completed on time. The fence turned out perfectly and it looks amazing! After our fence was done the community clubhouse put up the same fence. I should have written this review sooner, but since I waited I can happily report that Budget Fence & Gate was super quick to respond after hurricane Irma. Our fence had very minimal damage. Only one fence post was pushed up about 6" and a few pieces were blown out of the gate. Budget Fence sent their crew out within a couple of days to survey the damage. We initially had a great interaction with Tom! He's amazing and beyond helpful! Once all of the work was done on his end and I had to do paper work with the office staff is where we had multiple issues. They lost or misplaced paper work a minimum of 4 different times which delayed a lot of stuff!!!!! I even drove to their office and hand delivered the paper work 2 times because I was tried of having to redo it yet again! One time I even had their notary notarize the paper work and they even lost that! It seems like there was ZERO communication with office staff and everything kept going in circles UNTIL!!!!!!!! I got in touch with Camille!!!! She was beyond amazing and extremely helpful!!! She helped me with all of this issues via phone and computer so I didn't have to make yet another trip to their office! She was the sweetest and knew exactly how to take care of everything that no one else did! So if you need anything done ask for Camille!!!!!!!!! So once we got our fence installed it was supposed to have a pedestrian gate and it doesn't so now I need to file an "addition" order to get another permit for so it cannot get added! 12/23/16 Update: Ms. Lomnitzer emailed me yet again this evening stating that she "stands by her letter." She went on to say that her "job here is to try to facilitate a resolution between the parties without the need for court intervention." I think it dawned on her that their meritless threats of legal action were not going to scare me into modifying/removing my review and that they do not stand a chance in court. Perhaps this bullying tactic has proven to be effective in the past for them with other people, but I am well aware of my First Amendment rights and therefore not going to allow them to impede upon my right to share my experience--my review is a factual account. One thing I would like to add at this point is the fact that the owner of Budget Fence has inappropriately contacted both my husband and I on separate occasions to discuss the review.The conversation he had with me was uncomfortable to say the least. The call ended with him sounding erratic and begging me to remove the review. It is clear to me that this company has little concern for customer safety/satisfaction and instead goes to lengths to make repeated attacks of intimidation (can we say harassment?). It is truly unfortunate that Budget Fence does not exert the same amount of effort into constructing quality fences as they do minimizing poor employee performance and malfunctioning fences, and trying to stifle customer feedback. read more

I WANTED TO GIVE ZERO STARS BUT THAT WASN'T AN OPTION. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. We closed on our house Oct 28th 2016 and had the sales guy out the same day because we needed the fence asap so we could move our dogs in with us. It's now two months later and we still don't have so much as a post hole dug into our yard. We used their recommended 15 month interest free credit card and we were charged the $2,500 deposit on a fence that we still have not received an accurate estimate on. We're making payments on a fence we do not have !!!!!! The sales guy came out three times to measure and remeasure and remeasure again (wrong all three times)......yes three three times before we called and had the owner and foreman come out. Turns out every single word the sales man said was 100% wrong. He literally told us a piece of mail with our name on it would suffice as adequate proof of ownership. Found out later (to no surprise) we needed the warranty deed. He also told us we could have our fence dug 6 inches into the dirt for extra protection from our dogs digging out. Turns out due to where the property lines are that's not a possibility for us. Horrible disappointment. I can honestly say from day one dealing with this company has been a mess. Two months later we still have no signs of a fence and our dogs still can't move home with us. If it were not for being charged the $2,500 deposit I would have already taken our business somewhere else. We're still talking to the credit card company to dispute this charge to try to get out of this mess and we are writing reviews on every social media to try to avoid others from having to go through this.
