DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This hotel isnt fit for anyone to stay in. First of all they put me and my bf in a room with no working ac being in south florida thats hell itself, the room had no windows. The bed sheets and towels all were dirty and had stains on them! Went to speak to whos in charge and told me they cant do anything to call hotwire. Absolutely disgusting and on the bathroom sink they left a bottle filled with dirty wayer. stop being cheap and buy cleaning products and properly clean! We came to this hotel because the Super 8 motel we checked into and paid for (see last yelp review for super 8) had German cockroaches. So we called this hotel and luckily they had a room available. It was a smoking room but tiled so there wasn't a smell to it. The upside - no bugs! The downside - it was a bare-boned room. The mattress was horrible. In the bathroom there was hair in the sink. So, because we were desperate this room was sufficient. Note - don't try to walk into a hotel in Miami on spring break weekend. You won't get very far. read more

Roaches! Big BIG ROACHES! Horrible place. Reserved 2 rooms and both were filled with cockroaches! When I spoke to management I was offered different rooms but after seeing roaches in rooms 106 & 105 a different room to me meant same problem but with different roaches! I asked for a refund and was refused. I was also told if I leave/checkout I'd "NEVER GET MY MONEY BACK!" Well after contacting hotels.com I was able to get my money back and transfer the money to a different place. The worker at this place was just rude and her name was Jessica. There was an older gentleman there too. He was behind the counter and tried to justify cockroaches being in "...all the rooms because there has been a lot of rain" I don't care if a sand storm hit... I don't want a room or motel/hotel/inn with cockroaches! They never even offered an apology and we're completely unphased by the news. They knew/know there were pests & insects and still do nothing about it! HAHA JESS I GOT A FULL REFUND & now I'm posting a review with PHOTOS of roaches on your property in your room! How dare this place try to keep my money and make me sleep in rooms that are completely sub-par... SAVE YOUR MONEY & sleep in your car if your in a bind! The price for the hotel is much cheaper than other hotels, we checked the review online, it seems OK. But when we arrived, we are really disappointed. The hotel looks so old, and outside our room window, there is a pile of old furniture the owner has not cleaned yet. The room is very narrow and crowded, the furniture in the room is very old, there is no bath supplies except soap. The toilet is broken, TV is very small, and most of the channels are speaking Spanish. We booked nonsmoking room, but the room is full of smoking smell. When we checked out next morning, the owner said you could have some free breakfast. I went out with nothing, since the food does not look sanitary. All in all, everything is disappointing, I won't go there again. read more

You definitely get what you pay for. My dad chose this place because it was cheaper to get two rooms with one bed instead of one room with two beds at the motel down the road. No sharing bathrooms or the remote or anything. Seemed like a good idea at the time.. My dad's room smells very musty and almost like urine... My room has a weird smell but once you turn the air conditioner on you don't notice it much. The shower has a drainage issue....nothing like standing in ankle deep water while you're trying to clean off. You have to hold down the flusher on the toilet for quite some time (10+ seconds or so) to make sure it flushes. There were also two blond hairs on my towel...I have black hair...they definitely weren't mine. For how cheap it is, you can't really complain.. read more

I don't even want to give it 1 star. We were desperately searching for anywhere that still had a vacancy after we planned a last minute trip to the Keys. This is ripoff season in the Keys and rooms that would be $60 anywhere else in the States are between $500 & $900 for a night. So my girlfriend luckily found this place for a very unreasonable $150 a night. Well, we arrive very late after MANY hours of driving and sightseeing and just want to sleep. Well.... 1. Carpets not vacuumed at all. 2. Bathroom towels found with stains and make up still on them. 3. Old food still in the refrigerator. 4. Bathroom floor, bathtub, and toilet covered in long black head hair and pubic hair. 5. Dried urine all over the toilet bowl. So, the first hour was spent by my lady sweeping & cleaning the whole bathroom area with a broom, towels and Ajax she got from the person at the front desk. The only positive note is that the guy working the front desk seemed very apologetic and nice. Also, the AC unit in the room worked and the shower is pretty good. But, overall, this is the dirtiest hotel room I've ever stayed in, ever, and for the same price a pretty nice room could be had anywhere else in the USA. read more

CONS: room reaks of "curry" Check in: the management/owner older Indian guy tried to make us Pay extra for the room after it was already resurved and paid for on my credit card. Seriously?!? Needless to say I won that argument. Do NOT stay in room "111" it's right by the ICE machine I think it might be the only one, people getting ICE at all hours of the night, Loud and the windows and doors are not incilated, so you can hear them as if they are in the room with you. Overheard the maintenance worker bragging about stealing an IPhone from the room next to me. Check in is at 3pm so if you want to spend a day in the Florida keys or everglades be prepared to have to lug all the stuff with you. The WIFI is like pulling teeth, the closer you are to the office the better chance you will get a connection. The bathroom window has bars on them The pool is cold and green" I am assuming the matience man is both that and the maid. He knocked on my door at 10AM shouting "HOUSEKEEPING!!" He had a shopping cart filled with used sheets. Management or the owner yelled at us and told us "check out time is at 11:30am you need to check out now!" It was only 10:55am and we were already packed up. PRO the matience guy apologized for the owner and said he hasn't had his coffee yet. Well I sure hope his day went pleasant, I mean forget the people who choose stay in this crappy place! In any case would I stay here again or recommend it? NO! I would have been more comfortable and safer in a hostel. read more

When I arrived my reservation was missing and I need to call priceline to sort out it. Carpet was dirty as it stuck to my feet and it spread all over the bed. Smelling very bad in the room as no ventilation and no exhaust in toilet. Two dirty and small towels for four guests. No shampoo and only bathing bar nothing else. Finally I got sick and I need to move back to my home. The real challenge is to fight with the shower knob, where it is completely went out couldn't call someone for help in the middle of bath. I didn't even know how people said this is a good hotel/Motel. The refrigerator was full of rust and as if it has been taken from garbage. Bet you cannot get any worst hotel than this in the whole states. Not able to give "0" stars !!! The price is too high .... Oops ask for a renovated room, looks like there are old rooms and renovated rooms else look for a different place as this is not worth to risk your life. read more

If the other awful reviews don't persuade you then here's another!!! We merely looked at 2 rooms in Budget Host (?) Inn (what kind of name is that first off) and I was absolutely appalled. The room could have been a crime scene it was so disgusting. We opened the door and about 7 cockroaches scattered from just the first few feet inside the door. We proceeded to walk in and turn on the light to find roaches absolutely everywhere, on the bed on the fridge in the tub on the walls and obviously all over the floors. There was a mysterious stain on both bed sheets. The fridge was so molded on the outside I didn't even dare open the door, the tub was appalling and there was mold all over the celling and a large hole in the bathroom door. You could hear police sirens all over the place and this motel is located in an extremely bad part of town. The thought of touching a corner of the bed made me want to throw up. I felt like I needed a shower just from stepping foot in the door and felt dirty for hours after the fact. So my group of 12 decided that we would rather sleep (extremely uncomfortably) in our cars at a rest stop that night and felt safer sleeping in our cars than we would've in that atrocious place. read more

Needing a place to stay uvernight on our trip to Key West, I found this motel in a traveler's guide, price quoted at $59.99. I called and was told since it was the first night of Spring Break, the room would cost $129.00. Did get a Senior Discount though. Arrived to find out there was no in-room coffee, and they had a no cancellation policy. When we got to the room, we could not believe that they could possibly get $129.00! The beds were the worst I've ever seen. The box springs stuck out on each side and were filled with cigarette burns, edging ripping off, tears and nasty looking spots. Come on...at least they could have covered something that was so unappealiing to look at. A bad room, but we needed sleep to continue our journey. On checkout the next morning, we complained about the horrible box springs. The owner said that they had replaced 1/2 of the units beds that year and would replace the next 1/2 next year. One wonders about that! read more

It's not surprising to me that there are SO many bad reviews. Here's one more: 1st :Beware(because they don't tell you when you reserve online)they will make you pay a no smoking deposit of $50 CASH that you get back after an inspection when you check out. Luckily we had the 50 cash. Very first thing I did when we went in the room was take a shower, and when I grabbed my towel there was a gigantic hole (the size of my head)in the middle of it. The other towel... Lipstick stain on the corner. Upon getting into bed I noticed 2 fluffy pillows and on extremely FLAT pillow. Good thing we brought one of our own! Which now brings me to the extremely firm mattress.... My bones hurt. Next day I when I went to the desk to make the attendant aware of the towel situation, he said someone would bring us towels and they never showed up. When I called to ask for the towels later on that day, I was told to BRING the dirty towels and they would bring some. But then said no one could bring me towels until 9. It's painfully obvious these people don't care about the needs and comfort of the people who stay there. But wait, there's more! The continental breakfast? It consists of white bread with butter and jelly for toast. On the plus side, the Wi-Fi worked great! I used it to make this review, as unfortunately, I'm still here. But only for one more night, instead of 4. read more

worst hotel ever!! if we could give less than one star we would. when we pulled up the young desk clerk was at the pool with people who were obviously friends and ambled over when he saw us go into the office. not a big deal and he was polite and gave us directions to the everglades national park. however, the price we were charged was not the same as our reservation. when we later questioned an older gentleman who seems to be the manager/owner, we were told the reservation does not guarantee the price!! wtf? on what planet does a reservation confirmed with a credit card not guarantee a room rate?? it gets worse..... while there was a microwave, mini fridge and flat screen tv, there was NO phone, clock/radio or toilet paper! the sheets were clean but torn in several places, and there was a coffee maker but no filter or coffee. and we're not sure what continent eats white bread, stale muffins cut into 1/4's and gas station coffee, but it's not one we want to visit. do yourself a favor and stay at the motel 6 down the street.... read more

WARNING- DO NOT COME HERE! At first it seemed okay cause they recently remodeled , but don't let that fool you. The walls were paper thin. My aunt used the wall as leverage to push the bed out and accidentally punched a hole on the wall. The wall was literally just cardboard and wallpaper! The door to our room was half broken and the knob would rarely come with the door. It took forever for the key to work and the chain to lock the door was broken. Apparently security was not a main priority to this place. The AC in my room didn't even work. We checked in at 2 PM and hung out at the pool till almost 5 and it was still super hot. The AC was literally blowing hot air! When we called the front they said they'll come look at it, and she said the AC looks like it's in perfect shape. Well if it was then I wouldn't have called you. She said her uncle would be at the hotel at 6. Let's just say we didn't have any luck with the AC this trip. In the morning the manager came knocking at our door about how we we're suppose to check out at 10 and if we weren't out in 5 minutes he was gonna call the police. It was 10:30-11. We booked another room at the motel for another 2 nights but decided that 70 bucks was an easy price to pay in order to get out of that motel. He kept coming to rush us and said that he would call the police if we didn't come to pay for our room right then and there. The manager was unreasonable and rude. Save yourself from ruining your vacation and spend a little bit more on a better place to stay. read more
