When I visited, there was construction going on that left a marginal entrance road and a very small parking area. This was exacerbated when I found that this hotel was apparently being used as a meeting spot for a trucker and ambulance driver conference (not joking), leading to a number of oversized vehicles making it rather difficult to get in. Setting that aside, it was a fine experience in the room itself, with good temperature control, minimal noise, and average amenities. The breakfast was substantial, but not special.

Very spacious, modern decor, and clean. Bed was comfy. I loved the suite!! Casino is fairly small, but nice! They do check ID right before entering the casino. Beware, it's a smoking casino but it's pretty well ventilated. No free drinks while you gamble here and didn't see any cocktail waitress come around the slot machines--had to get drinks at the center bar or sports book bar myself.

I remembered that this hotel accepts pets. They were very accommodating and even gave him treats when we arrived. The room was extremely clean considering that it was a pet friendly room. They could use more grass because of my dog having trouble walking but I'm not complaining. I would recommend anyone traveling with pets to stay here. I only wish they had king sized beds in their pet friendly rooms instead of doubles (especially when your pet loves to stretch and sleep in the same bed with you).

The room looked like it had not been mopped before we arrived and I asked them to clean it, the toilet and sinks that still had hairs in them. They said they would, gave us new towels the next day, but the floor was still filthy. Considering Danville VA is sort of remote, we can only assume the high price for basically a dirty motel room with cheap uncomfortable furniture was excessive. We hadn't been gone for 3 hours and Andrew, the one who is telling my husbands boss that we needed to pay additional, has called my husbands boss again and said that the company could no longer use the services of the hotel unless we paid the $130 additional for the 2 weeks. WE ONLY STAYED FOR 6 NIGHTS. So they want to charge double, never mentioned it to my husband when we told them we were checking out early either. Luckily my husbands boss knows this is a huge scam. I tell her it is illegal to throw someone out because of Service Animal, she goes on to berate me in the lobby, calling me a jerk, a liar, crazy. I tell her "fine, check me out, be sure to notate the reason; "no service animal allowed ". She calls me crazy, rolls her eyes and tosses the key card at me. The GM comes in and tells me I have to leave and that she is calling the police. The brother of the owner comes in and starts berating me too. When the police arrive, I tell them the story, that I am out of there. They tell him that they don't have to allow service animals. The GM says that I am just another crazy vet. I had given the front desk all pertinent documentation. These individuals and this establishment are very anti veterans. They are anti disabled people. They are rude, ignorant and do not have an ounce of customer service. They also refuse to to cancel my reservation and the point refund this preventing me from being able to use them again.
