Stayed here to visit Graton Resort casino. It was a close LYFT ride away about 4 or 5 minutes maybe and around the $5 to $7 price range. I stayed in the back side where the rooms face the gas stations and it was pretty quiet and rainy. The gas station was walking distance and open all night. There's a Hooters walking distance and other places and shopping centers. The one thing I didn't like was when I got to my room the sheets were dirty so I think they definitely need to be more serious about their cleaning process. I honestly don't even know where to begin. I think you'll realize you made a mistake booking the cheaper option the moment you step foot inside this place. It feels more like a hoarder's personal side project than a functioning motel. You'll be nickeled and dimed for absolutely everything, and by the time you check out, you'll notice you've spent more than you would have at any decent motel--literally anywhere else. And to think Rodeway is supposed to be the "better" one of the two? More like No Way! The rooms are filthy and completely unacceptable. If you enjoy cleaning dried blood and snot off the walls with the heavily stained towels they provide, just know you'll be charged for using those same disgusting towels to clean their even more disgusting rooms. The only positives were the smart TV, safe, mini fridge, microwave, and iron -- everything else was disappointing. The room was dirty with graffiti showing through the paint, splatters on the floor, and stains on the bathroom wall. The lobby was even worse, cluttered with boxes, cleaning supplies, and snacks stacked everywhere, giving a chaotic and unsanitary impression. Most of the time there very helpful and the owner does have a Heart and will accommodate guests as much as he can and the Manager as well they do not discriminate and are very pleasant. Guests disturbing other guests don't see to be dealt with in a manner I agree with . Rooms are un clean, the internet seriously lags because the owners are too cheap to get decent internet here, don't leave a chair outside because the owners want to do nothing but whine yet their 60 cars that litter the property aren't any issue. Owners live on site and occupy the whole upper south side of the building. Don't make the mistake of parking in one of "their" spots or you'll get bi+€#£] at. Bad service. I've been staying here for 2 weeks and they still have a towel giving issue since my last time of stay. They will say you need to pay 20 dollars for new towels if you're previous towels are dirty. That is absurd. During the getting of towels it took me 10MIN. They had to use translators and i had to walk back and forth to the office and the maid 3 times. Unorganized and not respectful of there customers at all! Then when they gave me the towels note they are supposed to give me 4 towels and a floor mat DAILY and they have not done it once. After them finally giving the towels 1 shower towel and 1 floor one and i would frogot the dirty towel's they gave after all this. Terrible & Shady as hell. 20$ for dirty towels? If a motel could be 'rode hard and put up wet', this would be it! I needed an inexpensive (cheap) place to stay for a couple nights near Cotati. My first thought was to just stay in one of the homeless encampments along 101. I decided to stay at this 'lovely' motel instead. Should have gone with my first choice. This place is a hot mess. Probably hasn't seen a fresh coat of paint in fifteen years. TV remote didn't work. It was actually meant to be used with another brand of TV! Toilet barely worked, but at least they were nice enough to furnish a Mr. Poopee to use. But the bed was OK and I actually did get some sleep. Once the crazies outside calmed down. I've never written a review for ANYTHING but felt the need to WARN people who are considering staying at this place. Just DON'T. Please take a few minutes to read this review to save you a lot of time and your money! There might be some people who don't mind staying in a place that houses long-term residents who are on meth and other drugs. I, personally mind. Upon arrival, my boyfriend and I noticed a group of men congregating and drinking in the parking lot. Mind you, this is at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Tried to be cool about it by ignoring it, looked away only to have my eyes fall upon a zombied out man slithering around the property. Clearly this man was on something as he literally looked like the walking dead. The room - gawd. For the price that we paid, we have stayed in hotels and motels that are above and beyond way better than this dump. Oh and as luck would have it, the zombie was one of our next-door neighbors! The other neighbor was smoking weed and I could smell it as we walked by cuz the person's door was open. The room was small, stuffy, and smelled like urine. The toiletries only included shampoo/conditioner combo (not even packaged in bottles) and a tiny bar of soap which, of course was broken. No hair dryer for those who don't like to sleep with wet hair. The towel rack in the bathroom was literally coming off and the bathtub was crusty and peeling. The walls are so thin I could hear the person next-door using the bathroom. The mirror had some weird factory letter printing on it. Bed was lumpy and not properly dressed. My boyfriend and I stepped out for a while to think about whether or not we should stay. It was so uncomfortable that we couldn't even think in there. As we were leaving, we noticed a police car in the parking lot which was the absolute last straw. Without even wanting a refund, we checked out. Never coming back. read more

So let me start this off by letting you know that I have stayed in some shotty places in my time. Never been to prison, but had the pleasure of staying in multiple county jails. I have had the rear window in my vehicle bashed out, seen blood stains on walls, smelled the stale odor of crack cocaine from three pregnant hookers smoking up their profits from a night of "hard" work. Let me tell you that I have never been so disgusted in my entire life then I was when I discovered my hotel room to be infested with bed bugs. The little twerp from the front desk had the nerve to tell me that they had never received complaints regarding bedbugs. Okay, my daddy once told me you get what you pay for and boy no truer words were spoken after my 3 night stay at the swank Budget Inn hotel in Rohnert Park, CA. From the moment I arrived I had reservations about this place as the parking lot had several "ladies of the eve" hanging out with their employers, lol. I immediately had my security concerns but not wanting to be judgmental I opted to at least see how the rooms were, ignoring red-flag #1. Upon entering my room, 503, I was greeted with that cheap musty motel smell and a porn star casting couch motif complete with a black light above the mirrored headboard casting its glow across the bedspread scanning for organic DNA; red flag #2. Moving on to the dresser drawer I was unpleasantly surprised to find the previous tenants did in fact leave behind their underarm deodorant complete with their armpit hair embedded in the roll-on, nice; that was red flag #3. Moving on to redflag #4, I found the shower/tub to be cracked along its edges with apparent blood spatters, from god knows what, stained into the vinyl. I carry disinfectant wipes with me for moments like this and to no avail I was unable to remove the stains. Red flag #5 - as I was brushing my teeth at the sink the following morning (yes, believe it or not I stayed the night in this dump) the formica edge peeled off the leading edge of the sink, lol. Red flag #6...fast forwarding to my final nights stay I arrived back at my motel room to find the bed unmade, sundries such as shampoo and soap had not been replaced, the shower had not been cleaned, etc. Enough was enough...I went to the manager with my complaints and he said if I had only arrived back at my room earlier while house keeping was still available he would have had them turn the bed. I asked why it wasn't already done as a matter of daily protocol and he said that it was their hotel's policy on a last night stay to not turn the room, lol...WTF? I asked for a reduction in my room rate for the final evening and he said that it was not in his prevue to do so but the Next Time that I stay he will take care of me; Next Time, LOL, are you fucking kidding me? There will definitely be NO next time and if you can't take of me now you definitely can't in the future. Bottom line is folks...unless your into hookers knocking on your door at all hours of the night asking if you want a girlfriend experience or the police coming through continuously (which is not a bad idea considering...) then pay the extra dough and get a real hotel room. The extra $50 or so bucks per evening would have been well worth it. I wish I could give this shit-hole establishment a zero rating...even that would have been too high. read more

7/21/2018 UPDATE I realized they do not do a good job washing the towels you can notice discoloration on the towels. Now this isn't true for all of the rooms I did notice my refrigerator was leaking water and also there was a long human hair mixed with dust on the floor which told me they don't vacuum every time a guest exits out. The towel part was disgusting they really need to do a better housekeeping job I understand it's Budget Inn but at least keep it sanitized. When I brought this to the employee's attention she could care less and she said "we would have changed your room" yeah not at midnight will to be exact 11:45 p.m. at least she could have comped me some money to make up for the issues experienced. 6/15/2018 For what you pay you get a lot in other words you're getting more value than what you're actually paying for. Also keep in mind this is a motel not a hotel do not mistake the differences obviously it's not a resort or five star hotel and resort but for what it is it's a great value. The only negative I can say is the bathroom toilet seat has scuffs on it and marks but it was just color not any human feces but it would have been nice if they cleaned it for sanitation reasons. read more

So I have stayed in this hotel alot cuz it's the cheapest in town so I guess you get what you pay for but the last room I was in was a double bed and infested with bed bugs. The most disgusting thing I've experienced in a long time. And all they did was switch me to a different room and change the sheets ... Not once did I see any type of extermination being done. In fact I seen people in there 2 days after I reported the bed bugs. I'm room 123 I said if they are in one how do i kno they aren't in more. when I asked for a discount or for my money back I got turned down luckily I have a great bank who disputed the transaction and I got my money back anyways but others may not be this lucky I wouldn't not recommend staying here and if you do i would highly recommend you thoroughly check the rooms before moving any of your belongings in. read more

There are really nice wooden blinds that are pretty to see but serve no real purpose for darkening a room. Why not put curtains up as well? When we first got here they canceled our reservation for some reason so when we showed up after a long day of traveling, they said oh sorry it was canceled. After much hassling we were able to get a room, finally. The room: the room was awful. The whole room remakes of cigarettes and there was nasty hairs all in the bed. So I don't think they clean the rooms or if they do they do the bare minimum. Also the light fixture in The bathroom fell down while I was brushing my teeth and the handle on the water faucet came off. On the day of check out we had some lady telling us we had five minutes to leave or else. I said I'm sorry give us 15 minutes and we will be out. She looked at me and said get out! Holy cow, this place was exceptionally awful! There was an awful urine odor on the carpet. Everything looked filthy, especially the bathroom. I don't think the bathtub had been cleaned in years. My husband and I were driving late and this was our only option or I would have just paid more to stay somewhere else. As it was, it was $180 to stay in this place for the night. My husband tried to talk with the desk staff and was told there were no other rooms. No other effort was made by staff to clean the room or remedy the situation. We had to find a place to crash, and quick. We rolled into town around 3:30am with our packed vehicle and 17' uhaul after two 15 hour days of packing our wordly possessions. The night staff was incredibly amiable and helpful and booked us a room on the first floor, even told us they could be flexible on the check out time. Suggested parking our uhaul in the inner lot in front of the manager's office but we weren't too worried. Bed was very comfortable, king sized, we slept soundly all night. Needed a last minute room for the last leg of our vacation. Unfortunately nothing else was available, so we ended up here... YUCK is all I can say. It was nothing more than a run down fleabag motel. The room was tidy, but definitely not clean. the fixtures were falling off the walls, stains on the carpet. It was disgusting. The pool (which is actually the pool for the hotel next door) was under maintenance...who does maintenance on a pool in August....really? The "breakfast" they offer is toast, danish, waffles, coffee and water. It was so awful, we walked out. The worst part is that they must have a system to know when everything else is booked....because the best price I could get for this SHIT HOLE was $172.00 a night... We called this motel at 9:30pm on July 3. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and offered us a room for the evening. I was a little worried but it was a nice looking area (plenty of hotels around) and very well lit. We stayed in room 503 as it was the only one left with a single bed. It was average size, nice and clean. It has a good TV (signal wasn't perfect) but the image was fine. Also a fridge and a nice bathroom. The walls are definitely pretty thin so we could hear the later arrivals but that is often the case with motels! The customer service is the worst of any hospitality service I have ever experienced. The Indian (not that that bears any weight on the situation. It's just to identify the person helping me, as there was no name badge) man who helped me was extremely rude when asked questions (I had never seen a key like the ones they provide) and was very short and almost aggressive with responses. The clientele that frequents this hotel is also worrisome. I'm not from the area and was looking for a reasonably priced room for one night while passing through. The man at the front desk told me he had said 2. I didn't argue and told my guest to return at 2. Where do I start? When you drive up to the place, it looks shady. There's almost always a police car there, and unfriendly looking people staying there (some renting). When I called to make a reservation (I was desperate), the guy was a complete idiot. Had to repeat my information several times, and he still got it wrong. They do not provide a parking pass like every other hotel in the area. Location was easy to find. Customer service wasn't great. Little words were exchanged. No greeting until I said hi when I walked into the lobby. Conversation went like this. Me: Hi, I'm here to check in. *while handing him my id* Him: Credit card please Me: *hands him credit card* Him: Room 526. *hands me room key* Me: Thanks. Nothing about the breakfast or the check out time. Breakfast was included. They had waffles and coffee. Room was small. Clearly got a room with a King sized bed but the bed was definitely a queen. No fridge. No blow dryer. One side table. Bathroom was small. Toilet paper holder was broken and was taped with bandaids!! Wish I took a picture of that. Noisy. Constant police sirens and footsteps walking around outside. One good thing was the bed was clean and we slept like a baby through the night. But we were super tired from our event. My husband and I recently stayed at the Budget Inn in Rhonert Park the Sunday before Memorial Day, and we decided that we wanted to stay an extra day, as we were very tired traveling a long ways to a relative's funeral. I went down at around 7:30 in the morning and I told the employee, which I believe was the owner's son that we would like to stay an extra day. He said, "okay, that is fine." He asked me my name and room number and he said, "no problem." My credit card information was already in their system, so I assumed all was fine. At 1215, on Monday morning, there were loud bangs on the door while we were resting and watching TV. I went to the door and the owner started yelling at me. She said "Don't you understand, if you stay, you have to pay!!!" in her heavily accented east indian accented voice. I explained to her that I already visited the front desk in the morning. She continued yelling at me and I felt attacked by her. Needless to say, we did not stay. She was very mean and no customer should ever be treated like that! If you are looking for a place to stay for a night or two, find a place that is happy for your service, gracious, and is appreciative of your business. This is not one of them. We left feeling attacked, tired and very disheartened that a business truly treats their customers with such disrespect. read more

Booked 2 nonsmoking rooms, each with 2 queen beds, on Expedia. When we went to check in, we found out they were over booked. They apparently failed to let Expedia know there were no rooms left. The guy at the front desk seemed totally out of control and unprofessional. Rather than let us know what was going on, he kept making phone calls. He finally let us know we had 1 non smoking and 1 smoking room. We declined to take the smoking room and half of our group had to find a different hotel. When confronted, the guy at the desk denied responsibility. I told him I was going to be leaving a bad review, and he wanted to know why, since "I got you one of the rooms you reserved- that should count for something!" Expedia has agreed to refund the entire cost of both rooms. read more
