    Roach drenched in conditioner

This Labor Day weekend I booked one night here, i would of done 2 nights but i wanted to see if the place was clean and bug-free. The Front desk guy was super chill very friendly when i checked in, and the room was actually clean . In the morning when i woke up to use the bathroom i saw a group of roaches scatter, i managed to capture one by pouring conditioner all over it. Since i i was ignored when i reported it to front desk i left the creature in the bathroom. I wrote to their hospitality department and was also ignored, so here I am alerting you guys from taking your family here.

This is one of the most pristine Motel 6's I have been in! I could not believe how absolutely clean the room was the paint was beautiful there was nothing broke cuz I had a really bad experience with one in Sacramento but these are beautiful! And Miss Nikki in the front thank you so much for all your help! Helping me find Chipotle so I dont miss my Amtrak connection and not making me feel silly when the password for the Wi-Fi was right there on the cover for the key LOL you were so sweet about wanting to know all about my trip so thank you so much Nikki and Motel 6 in Rohnert Park on Commerce y'all are the bomb I wish I could give you more than five stars!

    No channels on the TV

I would give a 0, but since the location is so close to coffee, restaurants and stores, saving me the time it takes to look for them, I gave a point for location. What a shithole! Motel 6 used to be a cheap place that was clean and well maintained. That is not the case with this one. Bathroom door has a big hole where someone kicked it in...badly repaired! Lampshade in tatters, sink severely scratched up, joist holding up second story balcony rotting, not to mention the pervasive smoke in my non-smoking room that even burning two candles for three hours could not dispel, making me cough throughout the night after taking a big dose of Flonase before going to bed. The tv had no channels, so nothing to watch! I would have rather used the counter to put my bags on.It is located near restaurants, Starbucks, grocery store and the freeway and is easy to find. However, I have spent less on bigger cities for rooms that were clean, well maintained and newly decorated. The Motel 6 brand has really gone downhill, this property is not priced cheaply enough to justify such disrepair.

The rooms might be cheap but there is a reason for that. The lamp on the wall is busted, there are bugs all over the room, the beds are old and squeak. The front door looks like it had to get busted open in the past. The bed set looks old and disgusting. There is virtually no fucking outlets to plug anything in. The TV isn't hooked up to the cable. There is a mandatory $50 deposit for the room for damages but it seems like they don't fix anything from previous guess so you lose out on your deposit when you check out. There is nasty stuff on the heater/HVAC system. There is hair dye all over the wall and floor and in the tub. The sink and counter is all scratched up. The bathroom door has a hole and gap in it. The policy to have $50 for repairs and replacement they obviously aren't using. This motel is nasty.

Interstate truck stop levels of cleanliness in the bathroom. I wouldn't go in here without shoes, which makes showering difficult.

Not good. I posted photos of the amount of light that gets in around the door, and the bathroom floor that was beyond filthy. The mattresses are uncomfortable, the sheets are questionably clean, and the noise is ridiculous. I was in the room closest to the office, which I thought was a positive thing at first, I figured they'd be quieter than being next to other guests. I was seriously wrong. There were two employees in there most of the time, alternating between laughing and yelling. It was ridiculous. The wall between the room and the office was wafer thin I guess, at 11:30 I gave up and went to Safeway down the street to buy ear plugs. It helped a ton, I would have gotten no sleep at all without them. On the plus side, they allow pets with no pet fee. And the people in the room next to us were entertaining. They were obviously selling drugs, with a constant stream of people in crappy cars stopping by by for five or ten minutes, but a couple times a guy in a brand new Mercedes S Class would show up, go in for a few minutes, and then leave with the theme from Shaft playing on his phone. It was seriously the most epic thing I've ever seen, and almost worth all the noise, filth, sleep deprivation, and general aggravation.

There is a charge of $7 for parking BUT they have a fella that walks the lot at night which is well lit. Super cozy lobby that I would have gladly curled up in with a book and just chill as there wasn't a soul around when we checked in around 6pm, save for the front desk person. Very yummy breakfast choices in the morning, from eggs, to sausage, fruit, cereal, Otis S. muffins, bagels, strong coffee, tea... you aren't want for anything. The staff were everywhere in the AM, cleaning the pool, the rooms, blowing leaves from the edges of the property, etc. Neat little market by the front desk that caters to any level of snackage/craving! Highly recommend staying here!

The hallway had a bit of a strange odor, but thankfully once we got into our room, everything smelled fresh and was much more comfortable. The room itself was clean, and the beds were quite comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool and hot tub. We had the entire area to ourselves, which made it extra relaxing. My only suggestion would be larger pool towels--it's hard to dry off with a hand towel than a bath towel! Breakfast was surprisingly good. The filled croissants were absolutely delicious and quickly became my favorite part of the morning. There were a couple of minor inconveniences. The automatic bathroom lights were a bit annoying, especially when they turned on unexpectedly. Also, getting a luggage cart was quite a challenge. We waited nearly two hours without any luck until a maintenance man kindly stepped in and helped us. I didn't have the opportunity to attend the evening reception, but several people told me it was very good. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. While there are a few areas that could use improvement, the comfortable room, relaxing pool and spa, and tasty breakfast made for a pleasant experience. I'd consider staying again.

Pool was decent size and hot tub spacious. $22 for parking seems like a gouge considering the doubletree was back far away from the road with no residential or public parking alternatives. I booked a Lanai room expecting a relaxing courtyard view, but our patio faced the outside of the property with nothing but bushes. Had I known that, I would have chosen a standard room on the second or third floor instead. The electrical outlets were so worn that they wouldn't securely hold the iron or our charging cords. The room was also stocked with only two bath towels. For a hotel at this price point, I would have expected at least four towels to be provided without having to request extras. The biggest disappointment was the outdoor common areas, which had noticeable odors of urine and vomit, taking away from what should have been a relaxing atmosphere. While the hotel is nice, I don't feel it offers the value its rates suggest. There are several nearby hotels that provide similar accommodations for less, and I would consider those before booking again.

Maybe it's just luck, but compared to other casinos, I personally don't feel like my money goes very far here. I go to Cache Creek pretty often, and I feel like I actually get decent play there even at the minimum bet. I've won around $30,000 at Cache Creek within the last month, whereas at Graton, I honestly feel like that would be almost impossible based on my experiences there. I will say, their free gifts are actually really nice and useful, but I wish they made it easier to redeem them instead of requiring you to physically go to the casino. I was also disappointed with the new high-limit room in the non-smoking area. It's only available to the higher-tier cardholders/Chairman members, which feels pretty exclusive. Meanwhile, the high-limit area in the main casino is limited and has a lot of older machines. With the new expansion, I was hoping the overall gaming experience would improve. The property itself is nice, but for me, the payouts and machine selection are what really matter, and that's where Graton falls short and greedy.

Should have been alerted by the 'yard sale' of motel furniture in the lobby, and the forklift curriery mattresses to dumpsters, should have paid attention to the pile of mattresses and a couch under the stairs to our room. In my defense, have never stayed anywhere so bad, so did not know it was possible - really thought, one night, I can handle it. The room, really tiny, not clean, but strangely, looked like it had been updated in the last 8 years, just really threadbare, (trim falling off, half the lightbulbs not working, toilet barely works). But fine, I can stand a few hours here. Anyway, we spent most of our time at the River, so was only in this room about 9 hours. He came home and discovered bed bugs. Oh - and do not believe the website........ there is no breakfast. So, yes this place is cheap, but add to the cost and time of everything you own that might have had contact being cleaned. Add to the cost of the bedbug monitoring tests you will have to do for the next month. That said, it did not feel unsafe (no creepy tweakers) I strongly suggest - avoid at all costs.
