Another great Marriott property! Easily accessible from the freeway, but not near any noisy areas. This property looks very new and is squeaky clean. Check-in staff very friendly and quick and offered a complimentary upgrade. Room was spotless (King suite), 2nd floor, and roomy with a separate seating area from the bedroom. Not a lot of choices on the TV, but you can log into a variety of streaming services so bring your login info! No bar! So BYOB. There is a charge of $7 for parking BUT they have a fella that walks the lot at night which is well lit. Super cozy lobby that I would have gladly curled up in with a book and just chill as there wasn't a soul around when we checked in around 6pm, save for the front desk person. Very yummy breakfast choices in the morning, from eggs, to sausage, fruit, cereal, Otis S. muffins, bagels, strong coffee, tea... you aren't want for anything. The staff were everywhere in the AM, cleaning the pool, the rooms, blowing leaves from the edges of the property, etc. Neat little market by the front desk that caters to any level of snackage/craving! We had a pleasant experience at this Marriott while on vacation. It was very new and clean. The queen beds felt a little small & you need a keycard to keep the power on in the suite. The fridge in our room didn't have a freezer, so we had to keep our ice packs in the staff freezers. They had trouble locating our items even with just a short stay (4 nights)... There was a decent variety for breakfast each morning. Much appreciated since we stayed 4 nights. The oatmeal toppings included codling flakes, chocolate chips, and graham cracker crumbs! No RBF's here - Marriott would not allow that. I love the Marriott brand aka BonVoy - who doesn't? They know stellar hospitality, always greeting customers with big smiles and positive energy. ADA rooms are available. The lobby is bright and very clean. Hot breakfast is served with a nice variety and fresh items. There's also a shuttle available on Fridays and Saturdays to Graton. Costco is literally walking distance. There's a decent size pool, wish they had a hot tub and a bar on-site. I stay here whenever in town to visit family. It's a great Marriott for the price. Super clean, relatively new-ish, friendly staff. Safe, well-lit parking as I've never had problems the several times I've stayed. Guest laundry on the second floor. I bring my own detergent, but they also sell it at the front desk. Tip: There's a nice outdoor brewery (Parliament Brewing) within walking distance. A food cart is parked out front of the brewery and the food is pretty good. read more

My wife and I stayed here during our recent visit to Napa / Sonoma. It was a very easy in and out right off the main highway and free parking is always great. It was a definite plus being accross the street from a Costco and Costco Gas. This was the first time we were at this location and I'm so glad my wife picked this spot for us to stay. She is clearly a master of findng the right places to stay while we travel. The team here is super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing but smiles. The room was shiny-clean and had everything we needed, especially a good work area for our computers. King size bed with comfortable pillows and plenty of towels. Breakfast was included and they had so many options which included bagels, muffins, eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal and a make your own waffle station. This was the best breakfast spot of any Fairfield Inn. Their process for putting these hotels together are great. The 24 hour coffee/tea station is always a welcome addition. Stayed for 1 night: 05/31/2024 Checking in was easy. The two receptionists that Friday afternoon were friendly and prompt. You can tell that it's fairly new since it didn't look rundown, and the gym was clean with new equipment. My two queen bedrooms were clean, and the AC was strong. The complimentary coffee and tea were decent. I was most impressed by their free breakfast selection. I haven't had that much variety when it came to "free" hotel breakfasts, and the food was hot. My girlfriends and I ended up having a good breakfast overall. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member, so I definitely lucked out with this. I found this hotel for my husband and his mom while they were taking turns staying with my father in law in the hospital. They both told me the staff were friendly, helpful and understanding. The room was clean, cozy and quite. The continental breakfast was nice for them so they didn't have to stop anywhere in the morning. The paid parking with security was a bonus. Good location, close to restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy. There's even a Costco across the street. The hotel is a newer property so it's in good condition. Rooms are well maintained and clean. My room has a couch and desk. In another room a big king size bed. The shower is spacious and has two shelves, one high and one low. The lower one was helpful to wash our feet and ankles. No bending all the way down! The staff is extra friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There is a fitness room and pool. Daily breakfast from 6-10 to get your day started. Parking is always available and close to the entrance. All-in-All a great stay. read more

I stayed here in April and this is an interesting hotel. I am a Marriott guy and no matter where I travel to anything within the brand is okay. This is a nice hotel, I am glad I am paying for top quality during a conference I attended with my mum's former church. It's a bit of a far of a drive from my flat but lucky for me I am a seasoned Sonoma county traveler. I love the service that is offered here. Everyone who works here is very nice. I am not picky about what room I am assigned but each one of the was very clean and I had no qualms with them. When reading this review know that I am comparing it to other Fairfields. We stay at Marriott properties, Fairfield being at the bottom of our Choices generally. I always prefer full service Marriott, with many other options in between. This FAIR failed and is by far the nicest one I have ever stayed at it does not feel at all like a Fairfield. If you're familiar with the Marriott brand it's has a feel of a courtyard. The staff is super friendly. Maybe because it's in a small town they remember you from visit to visit They included breakfast is still nothing beyond exciting but my favorite part are the toppings they have for yogurt/oatmeal. they have candied nuts, regular almonds, pecans, walnuts, raisins, Craisins, banana chips, granola, and so many more toppings. I love eating the plain Greek yogurt with a different set of toppings each day. Is conveniently located near the freeway. Very close to Sonoma State not far from the Santa Rosa airport. About an hour from Napa and across the street from Costco with gas but more can you ask for? read more

We loved our stay here. The place is located in a great spot. It is near a shopping center with various eateries and grocery store. We chose this hotel because we it was near the casino we wanted to go to. And literally was around the corner or down the street approximately less than a mile. The hotel is fairly new and the parking is free which is lovely. We checked in and was immediately greeted by the front desk clerk. I didn't get his name but he was very courteous and helpful with directions. With our stay we got free continental breakfast however we did not take advantage of it. The rooms were nice and just the whole ambiance of it was bright and inviting. We will come back to stay again. Price: it was not too bad. We came here for a weekend trip with the kids. The hotel is super clean. Rooms are cozy and perfect for the 4 of us. The beds were so comfy. The sheets were clean, no stains, no traces of hair. The bathroom was spotless and did not have any spots (used the UV light to inspect). Love how they have a fridge, mini coffee maker and microwave! This establishment offers free continental breakfast of eggs, pork and turkey sausages patties, cheese omelette, bagels, bread, butter, jam and cream cheese. Pot of oatmeal's, waffle station where you can cook your own waffles. Juices, teas and coffee. You are across the street from Costco if you need to get gas before hitting the road. You are only less than 10 minutes away from Graton casino and restaurant in the area. Why not give this establishment a try. We are planning to have another mini stay this weekend. read more

We were on a weekend getaway so we decided to use our Marriott annual free night stay here. We checked in at the front desk. We were given two bottles of water & two Lindt truffles. We usually ask for a high floor away from the elevator. Our request was honored. Plenty of fresh towels. Pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. Our room was clean and comfy. The next day we went downstairs to the ground floor for the complimentary hot breakfast. There's a waffle maker where you can make your own waffle. I enjoyed the hot oatmeal- thick with plenty of oats. And lots of add ons - brown sugar, chocolate chips, raisins, etc. Coffee, tea, juice, yogurt, bananas. Bread & bagels. Something for everyone. We enjoyed our one night stay. It's a short drive over to Graton hotel & casino and to the town of Windsor. read more

I can only rate this three star, as we stayed in a similar type hotel that had a bigger room and nicer amenities over in Roseville. The bed is not real comfortable and the room doesn't seem to get as cool as it should. I wish they had a make up mirror in the bathroom. Be prepared if going to this hotel, and using GPS, you'll wind up in a construction zone. You have to go around the block near where Costco is to get in. The breakfast buffet is so so. I noticed they ran out of eggs and some other items, and it took a while to get more. But I did notice everybody was working very hard. Also when we checked in and when I asked any questions of the front desk, they were always polite and informative. They have QR codes throughout the area and I asked to the front desk about it. Unfortunately, if you do a tip instead of going across the board, it does not. So if you do a tip on the QR code in your room, it goes to the housekeeper. So it's kind of rough because you don't want to go around to all the QR codes to give anybody a tip. read more

I had a 35,000-point Marriott free night certificate that was about to expire, so my husband and I took a short overnight trip from San Francisco to Rohnert Park and stayed at the new Fairfield Inn. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the front desk staff, who, recognizing my Gold Elite status, presented us with a welcome bag containing two bottles of water and a couple of chocolates. Our accommodation for the night was a standard King room. The room was pleasant, featuring a nice range of amenities including a microwave, mini-fridge, tea bags, and reliable air conditioning. I, however, found the room to be slightly on the smaller side as there was limited additional space around the bed. The bathroom and shower were nicely sized for the room and were easily accessible. Complimentary breakfast was included with our stay and was consistent with the standard hotel breakfast buffet for this level of hotel (oatmeal, waffles, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, and tea / coffee). Breakfast service does extend until the very last minute, but I would advise arriving before closing time, as the staff promptly begins packing up and cleaning up the food once the designated time has passed. I looked into extending our stay during the Memorial Day holiday weekend and I was surprised to see room rates up into the $300-400 range per night! I do not think the hotel warrants $400 per night. However, it would be a solid hotel choice when rates are in the $100-$250 range and as an added bonus the hotel is pet friendly! read more

My family and I stayed at this establishment for 3 nights. We had a great time. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was serene, the rooms were clean and spacious, the complimentary breakfast was great and fulfilling (with the exception of their eggs - scrambled and omelettes - that were a struggle for me to digest), great air conditioning, free wi-fi, pet friendly, cute pool, cool ice and water dispenser, in-room microwave and mini fridge, and free parking. The room rates were very decent. FYI: There's no bar and you can't order food to have delivered to your room like other hotels. So if you get hungry later in the day, there's great restaurants nearby or you can do DoorDash or UberEats to have your food delivered to you. We just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Customer service is excellent--I had a question about EV charging and received a great response when I called. Upon arrival checkin took about one minute. The rooms are very clean and everything looks fresh since this hotel is very new. Soundproofing is excellent! I never heard anything from the neighboring rooms. The people next door apologized to us because their kids woke up early and started making noise. We hadn't heard a thing. They have 10 EV charging parking spots at the back of the hotel near the pool. If you have a Tesla make sure to bring your J1772 adapter. Charging speeds are 8kW which is more than enough for overnight charging. Along with our party's two Teslas we saw an Audi E-Tron charging there. An unexpected amenity was the filtered water dispensers on each floor next to the ice machines. Free breakfast included scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausage, bagels, pastries, assorted cereals, Starbucks coffee, yogurt, and freshly made waffles. I checked out the gym and it seemed more than adequate for a quick workout. They have dumbbells but no bar/rack. The only downsides to the hotel, and I am really nitpicking here, are the curtains that are about 2" too short and the shower curtains that are also too short. The room will get bright enough to wake light sleepers at sunrise, and if you don't position the shower curtain just right water will leak out all over the ground. Daily housekeeping is not offered yet, probably due to COVID. That was not an issue for us. Overall, we would definitely stay here next time we are in the area. read more

We came to Santa Rosa from Sacramento to check out the local museums. It was a 4 hour drive with a 2 year old. We got to the hotel at 1pm. I tried to check in early and was told, "No, it was too early". They allowed us to check our bags in and we left to explore the city. We had the intentions of visiting 4 museums but only made it to 2. We got to the hotel around 5pm to check in and was greeted by a lovely young lady. She stated they upgraded my room to a suite and thanked me for being a Titanium member! MOST MARRIOTT PROPERTIES DON'T EVEN DO THAT ANYMORE! I very much appreciated the bottles of waters at check in. This is the service I expect at a Marriott property and let me tell you I just stayed at the Ritz Carlton and St Regis your customer service exceeds those Luxury hotels. The hotel is at a great location. So much to do, see, eat, and right off the freeway. We used the pool and my toddler loves to swim. When my husband came back he mentioned the room must be Japan style, for a tiny person, midget, or Fair Field Inn are getting a new look? I asked why. The room everything was low to the ground. I told him it was a handicap accessible room. I didn't have a problem with it at all. It was easier for my toddler to get on the bed and use the toilet on his own. We laughed so hard. We enjoyed ourselves and this beautiful new hotel. We hope to visit again. read more

I am local to this property and needed a place to stay during a power outage event. By the time I called them they had been hearing from many other locals but gave me one of their last 4 rooms The entire hotel staff were great. The front desk was upbeat and responsive and the amazing housekeeping staff have been with the property a long time. They greet you with a smile and ask how you are and basically do the job of a top notch GM. The rooms are simple but high-ceilinged and unlike most value properties, the HVAC system works well and will actually either cool or heat your room, as you wish. Housekeeping is every other day and can be increased upon request. Well equipped small gym, swimming pool, and enough parking. The owner here has been in town with this property a very long time and his attention to detail and caring approach is visible everywhere (Thanks, Kirk!) When we have another outage, which is a certainty in the redwood forest, I know where I am going for my enforced staycation. Thank you Fairfield Marriott. read more

PROs, CONs, then summary. Went here for a youth hockey tournament with several other families. PROs--It's brand new, so the facilities and rooms are new. Everything worked and it looked clean and well kept. The check-in/out process was easy as well. The rooms had new TVs and beds, and the shower had adequate water pressure (pet peeve of mine.) The pool is heated, which isn't too common anymore. Plenty of parking and it's right next to the freeway. It's also across the street from a Costco and within walking distance of a nice brewery. The free breakfast was good too. CONs--There is not a bar or restaurant. Also, one specific manager did not allow us families to relax and hang out in the lobby. Don't have an entire hockey team at your hotel if you aren't going to let them socialize. Would I go back? Yes, because it was cheaper than most hotels in the area ***It's about 12-15 minutes from the Snoopy Ice Rink. read more

Gotta say I really like this hotel and stay quite often. It's pretty new and well appointed, very comfortable, and very well run, with excellent staff. The location works for me when I'm in the area but it's nothing picturesque as it's next to a Costco - which is fine for this type of hotel. So why 3 stars? Much as I like the hotel, there is recent homeless 'housing' set up, literally next to it. They built a nice fence around it but I am very concerned about safety if you walked out at night and who knows when your car will be broken into to support the lifestyle of the 'residents' right next door. I imagine the hotel, and another new one opposite (who I believe have opted to close), were horrified when the city/county decided to dump their homeless problem on them. This is a great find! The family was planning on an evening at Graton and found this spot and glad we did. The price is reasonable (much more than Graton). The rooms were nice and clean. The bathroom doors are awkward as they open into the main door which took a bit to navigate. The rooms came with a mini fridge and microwave. One thing I didn't understand is why they stock only one regular coffee packet (which is for one person) for a room with two Queen beds. It seems at least two packets would make more sense. But we asked the front desk for some more and she was really nice and gave us some. All of the staff was really friendly. There was a small pool. One of the best thing about this hotel was the continental breakfast. Wow! They had so many options from eggs, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt and bagels. They had any option you could want. The other great thing is this hotel is 1 mile from Graton and a quick and cheap Uber ride for a night of fun! read more

I was very impressed with the cleanest and attention to detail to make their customers feel safe. When we arrived, the front desk clerk was very nice. The room was very clean. The water pressure for the shower is very weak, but this could be because of our drought. Nevertheless, water pressure is very very very weak. The roller shade was unable to roll completely up. I notified the night clerk about this and she made a note on the room. She was very nice. The touch-less toilet does not have enough water pressure to flush down "your biggest contribution". I had to open the top of the bowl to allow more water to fill up and then it worked. We were very surprised about breakfast. You cannot get your own hot waffles, omelet, and ham. It was served by Angie. Angie is a breath of fresh air. Again, very nice. Because my hands were full, she followed me to the elevator, hit the button, got into the elevator, and pressed my floor. Great person and very sweet! Besides, the few fixes and the hotel had only been open since March of 2021, I would stay here again. Marriott lifer! read more

What a nice clean new hotel, I mean I don't know when it was built but looks really new, everything fresh and clean. The lobby area is nice, they have free breakfast coffee, muffins, yogurt etc. The staff are polite, nice, and very accommodating. I really like that they had a section/placement for the coffee and a microwave soooo convenient. The room was a king bed very comfortable and the TV was big and right in front of the bed (some hotels have it to the side) The bathroom is very spacious too had a cute little closet and also some hanging divots on the wall for clothes or what not.
