I brought back the vehicle in the same condition it was given to me -- except for minor road dirt spots (it rained) which, to be clear, was already dirty and worn when I received it. Despite that, I was later hit with a cleaning fee. Let that sink in: I was given a dirty vehicle and then charged as if I returned it that way. There was no walk-around, no discussion, no opportunity to address anything at the time of return -- just a charge after the fact. That's not customer service, that's a cash grab. This whole rental was already an issue. I reserved a Tahoe/Yukon months in advance, had corporate reach out to the pickup location two weeks prior, and still got the wrong vehicle. So to then deal with this on the return side just adds to the frustration. Between the lack of accountability, poor communication, and questionable charges, this location doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I'll be disputing the fee and taking my business elsewhere.

The thing surprised me is that they need to charge a 650 dollar deposit, i never experienced such thing. This is my very first time using budget, mostly i use National, never need to pay deposit. So a week later, when i return the car, i asked about my deposit, the lady said yeah, no problem, the 200 dollar deposit will be returned. I got really confused. Now the deposit is no longer 650? Very confusing!

Most charging area are outside security. What I didnt like was that we have to exit security to access the sky trains. But i understand that is needed to allow both populations ( pre and post security) to access the sky trains. Terminal 4 has a lot of stuff after security and less choices before security- this is the same to be said of T3. Overall, decent airport. Maybe they can consider stronger aircon - and maybe air purifier in the sitting areas. When the weather is hot, there are also some strange smells lurking in the airport.

The attendants were friendly. After a few minutes we had our car. The outside of the vehicle looked like it was washed but not dried so there were many spots which made if difficult to see if the car had dings or scratches before we left. Upon stopping at our first destination, I noticed a few small scratches and a ding on the driver side's door but didn't think much of it. The car, a Hyundai Santa Fe served us well for the week we were in Arizona. Very comfortable for four adults and luggage. Upon our return of the vehicle, the attendant pointed out the ding and I explained that the car was not very clean and the parking garage was a bit dark which made it hard to see any dings until we stopped and were able to see it in the daylight. Thankfully, we were not charged any extra fees on our rental. I recommend looking over any rental vehicle for damage very carefully especially when it is hard to see because the car is in a garage that may not have the best lighting.

I was given conflicting information about where to go and wound up on a wild goose chase all over the airport. No one had the foresight to realize I'd have a hard time getting a gate pass because the minor arrived AFTER the ticketing counter had closed. Once I got a gate pass from the airline's baggage office, they pointed me in a general direction but weren't clear about where to go. I wound up going a couple of steps in the wrong direction and the security guard was an absolute wench who refused to listen to the fact that an unaccompanied minor was waiting for me and I'd gone the wrong direction. Fortunately the minor had a phone because things could've gone really badly if I hadn't been able to communicate to the flight crew that they had to bring the minor to me. The child would've been stranded waiting for me to pick them up and I never would've arrived. If the security guard had any humanness at all and actually listened to understand the situation, she could've radioed someone to help me get where I needed to go. Instead, she was hateful and talked over me, telling me I was in the correct place BUT I WASN'T. If I'd been meeting an ordinary passenger who could walk themself to baggage claim, then yes, I would've been in the correct place, but that wasn't the situation. Why do all security guards seem to be inhumane? When someone is picking up a minor, don't assume they know where they're going. It would be helpful if airport employees could communicate step by step instructions regarding where to pick up minors as not all people are familiar with or confident in navigating airports. The airline employee didn't seem to understand what I explained about being locked out of the gates and insisted on bringing the minor halfway to me. She seemed really bugged that she had to bring the minor all the way to me. My whole experience navigating Sky Harbor to retrieve my unaccompanied minor was incredibly stressful. If only the security guard had been willing to help problem-solve instead of leaving my minor stranded and me unable to get her even though I'd gone through the process of getting a gate pass and being verified by security.
