That alone was worth the stop, but the rest of the experience was less than expected. By the pumps, there are no windshield washer squeegees anywhere, so you cannot clean the bugs off of your windshield. The pay-at-the-pump interface was frustrating. It would not accept my Discover card. I used my Visa, and it locked into selling me only 15 gallons. The only great part of the refueling experience was the price and the zero wait for a pump because they have so many of them. Also, this location has a car wash, and the purchase option was imbedded in the gas purchase--I didn't want it, but accidentally got it. I guess that would be one way to clean the windows, but be aware as you're trying to buy gas. Inside: The inside is huge. It's like someone took a Walmart and placed restrooms and food kiosks in the center of it. The women's bathroom was awesomely clean. It's huge with individual doored stall-rooms along the walls with green (open) and red (busy) lights above the door, so you can quickly find a stall that's open. The entire center of the bathroom is full of sinks/soap/paper towels. It was spotlessly clean and the highlight of the whole experience. Food: Having seen another Yelp review, we got 2 XXL BBQ Brisket sandwiches and Buc-ee's chips and 2 $0.99 fountain drinks. We also picked up a small bag of chocolate covered pretzels. That lunch cost us $41, and there was nowhere to sit to eat it. The expectation is that you go back out to your car to eat. After being in the car for 6 hours, I didn't want to eat in the car, so we found a lamppost in the shade that we used as a "table" and stood to eat. Service: Everyone working at this location was helpful and friendly, so the service is great. Recommendation: If you are looking for a clean bathroom and cheaper gas--this is an awesome place to stop!! Of course, the cheaper gas price is how they draw you in, then they make up the loss in inside sales, especially food. There are many food choices, which is also good, as long as you intend to eat in the car. If you get the BBQ sandwich, I would get the one without the sauce.

I was surprised to find it in the old Whisk'd location -- RIP to Whisk'd; I loved that restaurant. Street parking only but the street is quiet and it's easy to pop in and out. Inside there's a huge array of confections: classic chocolates like turtles, chocolate covered pretzels, marshmallows, etc., as well as fresh baked cookies and a somewhat startling amount of freeze dried candies. I know that's sort of having a moment right now, but WOW there was a lot of freeze dried stuff to choose from. I don't dislike it but I prefer chocolatey treats so I skirted around the big display. I came about 1.5 hours before closing and will admit the selection (other than freeze dried) was a little sparse. I'm glad they're not letting products go to waste, but in the future, definitely come early if you want to ensure you get everything. More than one customer asked/called in for something only to be turned away while I was shopping around. Of course, the holidays might also have something to do with very high demand. Anyway, I wound up leaving with two cookies (only about four varieties were available when I arrived -- I took a chocolate chip and a brown butter cookie), three chocolate covered pretzels, and one pecan turtle. The service was limited to being rung up at the cash register, but the employee was nice in our limited interaction. My husband and I enjoyed all the treats over the following days! The chocolate was smooth and rich on pretzels and pecans, the caramel chewy and satisfying. The pecans and pretzels were both crispy and fresh -- no problems with staleness here. The cookies were good, too, though perhaps a tiny touch oily. I liked the brown butter better but both were enjoyable! They're the perfect size to share. I'd definitely return here for sweets!

I'll admit they make me nostalgic and I usually have fairly high expectations for them, since (though I'm biased) I feel like I worked at a pretty good one. The reviews for Zen Beri weren't that great but I honestly thought it was pretty good. This shop is located in a large, somewhat labyrinthine shopping center and the signage is nondescript, but there's plenty of parking and it's accessible. The inside is small but clean and cute. The staff member greeted me politely. I went to the back of the shop to check out the froyo flavors. They didn't have a super extensive selection (maybe about 10 flavors), but many sounded tasty. Eventually, the staff member offered me some sample cups, which were self serve. I'm clearly out of practice; two of my three samples came out great but one of them splattered all over my arm. It's veryyyy sticky lol. I tried the butter pecan, a coffee flavor, and one other that I don't recall the name of but remember liking...something vaguely nutty, but it's gone from my memory now lol. Anyway, the butter pecan was quite yummy; the coffee had a slightly odd taste that I didn't care for. 2/3 isn't bad. I have what I think is a pretty perfect froyo combo that typically tastes great and fulfills the build your own fantasy without overloading the toppings and making the flavor weird. I got some chocolate yogurt, paired it with a little of the butter pecan, and then topped it with crumbled Reese's and Oreos and a dusting of pecan pieces. Ideally, this creation is completed with a generous drizzle of hot fudge, but their hot fudge dispenser was either clogged or empty and my attempts were fruitless. Other than this mishap, the topping selection had lots of good choices kept clean and topped off nicely, though it wasn't a crazy extensive number of different options. I honestly find that preferable in terms of waste and decision making, but YMMV depending on what you like with your froyo. The price per ounce seemed reasonable and the employee remained friendly and pleasant through the checkout process. My creation tasted as I remembered (I've had better chocolate froyo but this one was good enough and the butter pecan was quite yummy) and I enjoyed it overall. This is a solid froyo shop and I'm glad to have stopped in. TL;DR: clean shop with polite employees; relatively small selection of flavors and toppings but what's available is fairly high quality and presented well. Worth a try!

He greeted me upon entry with a smile and thanked me for stopping by. This man certainly ought to be a trainer as he sets high goals to ensure customer satisfaction. Nice job Mr. Brian. The "Open" sign WAS on when I pulled in - but when I walked up to the door it turned off and the clerk who WATCHED ME DRIVE UP TO THE PUMP disappeared. No note on the door/no explanation of ANY KIND. Just locked and unwelcoming. I stood outside for 10 minutes trying to find the contact Info and finally walked back to my car. As I DROVE OUT OF THE PARKING LOT, THE OPEN SIGN TURNED BACK ON AND THE LIGHTS AT THE PUMPS TURNED ON. AGAIN; He SAW ME DRIVE UP and turned everything off then waited UNTIL I LEFT a d turned everything back on. They will NEVER get another penny out of me. I will save MY business for those that WANT it. And BELIEVE ME, I'm telling friends, family and coworkers to join my boycot.

Southern cooking is appreciated and I can find my staples such White Lily self rising for biscuits as well as sage sausage to make the gravy that goes on the biscuits. And as far as the pharmacy- even if there weren't enough good reason to shop there the pharmacy would be my reason. You know that small percentage of patients that report side effects? That's me the statistics are talking about. The pharmacist saved my life when I called about a newly prescribed drug and how it was making me feel. It turned out to be a dangerous reaction. So when you can trust a store that meets all of your needs why go anywhere else?

A young man behind the counter, Cameron, waited on me. We discussed the age of the low sodium ham and if it was going to expire. He said it was within the date for use. I mentioned I had purchased ham and it was slimy feeling so I now ask about expiration dates. He assured me the ham was good and even offered a slice to eat. I did not eat the slice. I have to bake the deli meat before I can eat it to prevent getting sick. I asked for the low sodium to be cut for sandwich slices. He cut my low sodium ham and I was off shopping. A little later I wandered back to the hot foods section of the deli. Cameron was at the counter helping a customer. I was there to buy tenders. My plan was to purchase 2 pounds. There weren't that many available. Cameron said if I gave him 10 minutes, the fresh tenders being cooked would be ready. I told him I would be back in about 10 minutes. I continued shopping and returned to the hot foods section. A smiling Cameron greeted me and pulled out 2 pounds of hot fresh tenders he had bagged for me. I was surprised at how efficient, helpful and courteous he was. Kudos to this Publix for hiring Cameron and placing him in the deli. In the past, I would avoid buying much here because the service was so slow! I heard an employee say she wouldn't go to the deli because she had limited time for her break and the deli was too slow to fill a food request. I will return to this deli. Fingers crossed this young man is still there working to serve customers. He's the best deli worker I have seen in the past 9 months! 5/5

This store has all the major items other Publix stores have plus which is great since it is smaller than the store on Whitesburg and the new store on South Memorial Parkway. The pharmacy employees all go out of their way to help customers. I use this Publix for one stop shopping where I can pick up prescriptions and grocery shop. Two of the pharmacy technicians know me by name and have my prescriptions ready for pickup when they see me in line. This store has been my go to for many years. It has a small town quaintness with big town benefits.
