I was in just buying ice for our small bar/restaurant when our machine can't keep up with the heat and busy seasons. I purchased Ice for months last year: August, September, and October, about 50 bags per week at the max. Today I stopped in to grab 4 bags to check the quality and ice size to plan for the busy season ahead. I paid ahead, got my receipt, and started to load my ice. When grabbing the 2nd bag I tried to grab the 3rd at the same time but didn't want to rip or drop a 20lb bag of ice, so I only took one at a time. When grabbing the 4th and final bag the dude at the register, the same guy I was purchasing from all last year, told me that I already grabbed everything I paid for and accused me of stealing a fifth / extra bag. I explained that I didn't and only took one at a time. He insisted that I was stealing so I told him to come look in my car that was parked right on the curb; he refused to leave the counter and insisted that I took an extra bag. I took a picture of the ice in the back of the car to show him but he was rude and continued to say I took more, so i tried to remind him of all the business I gave him last year. He was a rude d*ick. I will not return to give this shop any money ever again. I work in another local small Buena Park business, and I was wearing my work shirt with the logo, AND I paid with a company card. I didn't need to steal a $5 bag of ice. F*uck you, get wrecked. This place is awesome, I would like to start with the Owners. The Owners are wonderful people. They are so kind and helpful! Every time that I Visit this area of California, I stop in. Every time I stop in I leave with a bottle. The selection of Bourbon that they have is second to none! The prices are fair! If you want to find the hard to find bourbon this is the place. First of all, I went in there looking for a specific whiskey (Hibiki)which he just pointed at, without saying anything else..the price was marked up 60 dollars, and when I inquired if it was aged longer or anything specific to make it more expensive, he just barked to go somewhere else. My main gripe is with the markup on the bottles. I understand the small business aspect but the up charge on some of these bottles was disgusting. Even readily found bottles, like Lalo tequila, which can be found for $40 range nearly everywhere was up to $60. Hard to find bottles like Fortaleza or Blanton's bourbon you'll find for double if not triple suggested retail price, which for the demand, may not be as egregious, to give benefit of the doubt. If you're coming here for actual liquor I'd suggest somewhere else, need a beer or a snack, or just cheap liquor, I'd have no problem recommending this place. read more

It's damn delicious!
