On the way to the appointment they called saying they were running late by 30 min, which to me was no big deal. They asked if I wanted to cancel, I didn't. Looking back, I think this was them trying to get me to cancel. Once I met with the aesthetician, she told me that a chemical peel was "bottom of the barrel" and "a waste of your money, because you're going to be disappointed with the results." She then recommended $3800+ worth of moxie and other services, none of which could be done during my appointment. She also said that after those recommended treatments I would still be disappointed with the results, and would need additional expensive treatments. I left feeling very disappointed and self-conscious. I do appreciate the honesty of this conversation, but it was still incredibly disappointing and wasted my evening. It kind of felt like the aesthetician just wanted to be done with her day. It also felt like they were using the visia results to scare me into buying their treatment plan. At no time was anyone rude, she was very kind and direct. I've had an excellent experience with a hydrafacial in the past at the spa. I think it would be beneficial for them to ask what your skincare goals are, instead of just assuming that you're looking for flawlessness. I have no expectation that my skin will ever be free from signs of sun, as I am outside every day. Mixed feelings on if I'll return.

I did, but turns out it was from the sutures. Dr. Carlisle had gone on vacation after this was done, so hence the lack of after care. Anyway. Two bad experiences from two different providers. She did worry me when she said tons of times my eyebrows are sisters not twins I was sent home with aftercare instructions, which I followed meticulously because I was invested in getting a great result. However, as my eyebrows went through the healing process, I noticed all the pigment scabbing off and disappearing. By the time they were fully healed, there was not a single hair stroke left. ​I reached out to the artist to let her know what happened. Her only solution was to offer the complimentary touch-up session. I explained that this wasn't a case of a few strokes fading; the entire procedure had failed, and I felt that putting my skin through it again would likely lead to the same result. ​When it became clear a touch-up was not a viable solution for me, I asked about a refund. I was told that she does not offer refunds for this service. I am now out $, the time and discomfort of the procedure and healing, with literally no results to show for it. While I understand policies, for a service that failed this completely, I believe an exception should have been made. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
