Been to buffalo billiards quite a few times , and as someone who holds Petaluma in their dear hearts - it a great place . I mostly show up for the darts , and maybe table tennis , or even one of the many pool tables. I'll grab a classic Stella or Lagunitas when I go. Staff is amazing. Always friendly . Always a good atmosphere. Every time . Food is tasty. I love the burger. Fries are crispy, salty, and soft on the inside (kinda wish every fast food fries were like this), and the burger I got was very tasty. Juicy , filling , and flavorful . A great place for all to play some pool, darts, or table tennis. They even have air hockey and an arcade game near the entrance. It's a place for everyone. This was my first time at this billiard place and luckily it was a Saturday night! I ended up getting a glass of their cider then I noticed everybody else was getting a picture of the same thing! Lol There were three bartenders and two bar backs working and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves behind the counter as much as the people playing games the establishment. Get ready for some fun, seriously. I loved this local spot. The happy hour was a great deal. I played shuffle board (I won!) and darts (I lost hard) for free. The atmosphere is quiet but I'm sure things pick up later in the night. We were there on a holiday Monday. The bathrooms are clean and the place in general is nicely kept up. Ok, this is definitely a cool spot here in Petaluma! I feel sad I didn't really know / come in until our teen started coming here. They have so much more than pool! Ping pong, air hockey, shuffle board, darts and some arcade games - probably more, I'm missing too! But it's a wide open space filled with fun! I've been here a couple times now, depending on day / time it can get pretty full but room for everyone! They have good happy hour deals! I was just there last night with a couple friends and the 2 male bartenders were very RUDE and RACIST. One of the bartenders who was tall snatched a drink out of my hand after I said I'd go outside and dispose of my own drink. He then very aggressively proceeded to snatch it from me. I love how Buffalo Billiards has such an open, welcome concept. A majority of their street facing wall is open air. We got there when most people arrive about 8:30pm on a Tuesday & it was packed, so much that we thought it was league nite & decided to leave because of the line. We wanted to play pool(and I mean play, cuz I'm such an amateur) so we went back, paid the $14 per hour fee & joined the rest of the crowd. As we walked in there was a mix of customers, pro, amateur and audience. It was alive and happening. Getting started we chose our pool sticks( they go by weight, there is a reason but hell if I know) from the wall & went to our assigned table, because the tables are set close to each other and it is open space you can't help but talk to the neighboring players. At times you must wait for other table players to strategically shoot their ball or risk a pool stick jabbing your body or messing up their shot. Everyone was kind, having fun, chatting up a storm, There are great players and just luck players, so pay no mind to not knowing all the rules and such. All in all, I'm glad we went back and joined the camaraderie. They have ping pong tables(table tennis) and other types of amusement tables & games to please most and a good beer menu. read more

This is a really nice local establishment for a couple of reasons. They allow kids, usually people's kids hang out over by the ping pong tables and video games, so they usually aren't running all over the place in the pool hall, but it's still nice to know if you've got friends with kids, everyone can hang out and have something fun to do. The darts are free, beer is decently priced and there are 15-20 on tap with about 30 more in bottles. The food is like 3-4 out of 5 but it's a pool hall with fried food. The French fries are actually pretty solid though. The crowd is super nice, we've been twice so far in the past month and there have been competitions going on but there are still tables available. They have ~30 tables. There's a jukebox that you can download an app for. The only weird thing is sometimes it smells like the fryer is venting into the building, but that's it, and you can't smell it away from the front desk. We'll definitely be back. read more

To be honest I have never been to an actual pool hall before so didn't have any certain expectations which makes for an honest unbiased opinion. Tried this place out with a Groupon with some friends (solid deal that included pool, beers and appetizers). I did enjoy the large space and the options of darts and ping pong to give other options; it helps to keep customers satisfied longer as well as your friends when they constantly lose to you in pool. The food was pretty decent as well with reasonable prices. I would compare it closer to bar food which if you are in the mood for that they have a good assortment of small bites. They also have a solid beer selection which makes it all the better. They do also have a pay jukebox with a large selection of music, you just hope the person that plays the music has the same taste as you. The guy who served us he was really nice but the reason I am giving 3 stars is because the guys that were playing next to us on table 24 one of them , a very old gentleman he was very rude. It was my daughter first time playing pool and we were explaining her how to do it and we accidentally put one of the beverages on the side of pool table and he came very rude and grabbed it and said : You never ever do that because if it fall you will make a real mess . I didn't like the way he said that and the way he grabbed the bottle and put it on the little bar counter next to us. There's ways to say things and this one was not of the best ones. So in conclusion we feel that the people that visit this place are the ones making it look bad. I feel he did that that way because we are Latinos :( . Just bought a used 8' table from Buffalo Billiards. They delivered it to my home in Napa. The price for the table and delivery charge was very reasonable and fair. The techs who delivered the table did an excellent job of setting it all up; including leveling it, and refelting the table which also included new cushions. I am totally satisfied with my purchase, the job done and can easily recommend Buffalo Billiards to anyone looking for a quality pool table. Beautiful place. Walked in for the first time to get a feel for the place and see what was going on. Had to leave because a drunk? worse? EMPLOYEE couldn't leave me alone.
