Fried chicken that was dipped in a Louisiana style hot sauce then dropped on top of a bun. It quickly fell apart after the first attempted bite. Great flavors and textures, but it should have come wrapped in paper to make it easier to eat. The server was friendly, but she described the 'spicy' option for the chicken sandwich incorrectly. Brewsters is so much fun. It's the best place for families with children in downtown Petaluma. They have a ton of tables, yummy cocktails/wine/beer and have live music most weekends. Food is great too, we love the chicken wings, poke, and sandwiches. We recently tried their brunch menu (on mother's day) and it was delicious! Every time we've been our servers have been super accommodating and friendly. We especially love the hostess Bella. She goes above and beyond to help us and everyone else out! However, the staff seemed to be pretty rude and cranky (out group was very friendly/polite, so this was really confusing to us). Tried coming here a few years ago and was turned away due to a private event. Finally made it here and it is legitimately one of the best brewery / taphouse setups we have ever seen. First off, the place is huge and completely open (best dog spot ever) it is unassuming from the street but we could not believe how big it is once you past through the front gate. The food was unexpectedly phenomenal. We got the brisket poutine and the fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich was gigantic and fried to perfection. The pountine was excellent. Obviously the beer menu was great, but they have champagne, wine and mixed drinks. If we lived in the area this would be a once a week type spot. My friends and I had our annual visit to Brewster's for their Christmas Popup. This is one of my favorite things to do in the Christmas season. I love love love their decorations, theming, drinks and the food is great too. Last night I got to try their new hot drink, the Carol Singer (although it was not really hot, more just warm. That was fine though) It was a super tasty apple cider mixed drink and boy did it put me in the Christmas spirit. I also had their Cream Vanilla Ale, which I enjoyed as well! The food is always great here. The standout of the evening was Mac and cheese. Add some burnt end to that and it is pure bliss. The buffalo wings were very good with a pretty mild sauce, but still tasty. We shared a full rack of ribs and it was a lot. Their ribs are not your typical BBQ ribs. They are smoked and then glazed with a sweet and salty sauce. I like them! A shout out to our wonderful server, Taylor, who did a great job taking care of us all evening. On a day exploring Petaluma by foot, my first stop was the riverfront, which is the nicest area of town. All kinds of commercial and industrial buildings from the town's chicken farming past have been repurposed. Brewsters is a gorgeous spot; they have mostly outdoor seating that's covered from the sun and rain, plus semi-outdoor seating of long tables near the bar. As a beer fan I was mostly out touring breweries but they had two house beers worth trying. I didn't have food but all that I saw looked delicious. The bartender was extremely accommodating and talkative, which I appreciated. I also loved the natural tree cover and fire pits, I'm sure it's an equally fun place in the colder months. read more

I found this place on TikTok and decided to go. There's a parking lot across the street. This place is an open brewery but they had a ton of heating lamps. This place was a Christmas wonderland my son thought it was the North Pole. It is extremely busy during December so come with time and the earlier the better. You might be seated on some benches very close to other families. This is a dog friendly place. The service was extremely fast. We ordered wings as an appetizer. That was okay I didn't get much of the buffalo taste but my son liked the wings. The cob salad was delicious highly recommend. Very good filling portions. My son loved the kids hot dog. My husband got a chicken sandwich he said it's one of the best he's had. The food is really good and high quality. A little pricey but definitely made up in the service. While the actual restaurant is outside, they have heaters all around to keep you feeling warm which I liked. The prices very a bit on the expensive side. I ordered the miracle mouse which came in a super cute mug, which all festive drinks do. The drink was actually pretty good and not too strong. My only issue was the amount of ice, I would definitely say light ice because it felt like I was done with my drink after like 3 sips. The service was quick considering we were a group of 18. We were able to enjoy the holiday decor the Monday after Christmas. We arrived around 1230PM, and were seated right away, It wasn't busy, and although it was sunny, majority of the tables are covered so they had heaters at the tables which was nice. With the cover patios, it make for a dog-friendly space whether it's raining or sunny. We ordered our food and drinks; pasta bolognese, brisket (not shown in photo), side of Fries, and the burrata as an appetizer. The Christmas themed drinks are fun and the kitschy cups are always a hit. Our food arrived to the table within 5 minutes of ordering so that was nice but did throw off getting the appetizer at the same time as our entries. It is a good problem to have and we appreciate the quick service over the opposite! The pasta was yummy and filling, the brisket portion was 3 slices and a standard size dinner roll. My husband felt the portions were too small and in addition to the dinner roll, supplemented the small bread roll with the bread we got from the burrata appetizer. Our server Arthur was attentive and checked in on us serval times throughout the meal. It was nice to check this place out with seeing all the hype of the decorations. I can see why it's so busy on weekends and highly recommend enjoying this place during the week or after the holidays to avoid large crowds or waiting a long time. Unfortunately I didn't see any bowls for water for dogs and we weren't offered any for our dog so keep that in mind if you're bringing your dog. Overall, cute place to experience! read more

My friends and I came on St. Patrick's Day at 6pm. (4 of us in total) We had no issue waiting in line since we figured it would be a busy day. The environment is nice, so it was a good day to sit outside. We get seated by the host, who was very sweet. Our server was extremely rude, unkind and obviously in a rush to get us out of our table. Mind you- we didn't choose our table. Afterwards, we were ordering our drinks... and he wasn't paying attention at all and kept insisting my friend wanted a beer she clearly wasn't ordering. THEN, a different server came to bring our drinks. He was very sweet, and by accident he spilled a drink all over one of my friends. No big deal, he had 4 drinks on his tray, so we understood and told him it was fine. Our server then comes, and we asked if we could order our appetizers, and he rolled his eyes and asked rudely if we wanted to get our meals also. If it wasn't for his behavior, we would've liked to have tried the dinner options, but we decided to get our bill and leave. We didn't even notice if we got charged the spilled drink. The ambiance was very good and the music was loud, but amazing band performance! I ordered the Valley Ole Fashioned and for my Order I got the Brisket Dip and omg they we delicious! The drink was so good and tasted like a good Ole Fashioned so it lived up to its name and the Brisket dip was so good and although a lil messy it was fantastic. Had a wonderful time and experience and my fiance ordered the Fools Rush In and that one is lighter but delicious and sweet. The two times I've been here I've always found this place to be a great place to hang out for drinks and food. The entrance is down by the river walk area which is open and feeds directly to the patio seating. The crowd is a mix of people from families to couples and so on. I guess they also have live music on certain days and would say weekends. On this last visit it was pretty crowded but the line moves fast to find seating and the place was well decorated with Christmas items all over. Maybe too much but was still pretty neat. The menu and food we saw looked good on this occasion, I went with their SANTA'S SHO-BURGER that was dressed in aioli, pickles, onion, lettuce, white cheddar and duck fat fries. Very tasty. Along with it we ordered for appetizers the local wings. Very meaty and tasty too. Service here has always been good and plenty of people to assist, which is nice to find. As others have mentioned, the food is not great. It's slightly bad. But, you don't go to a Christmas spectacle for food. The place is just insanely festive. It was exactly what we were looking for and we had a great time. There's tons of space, so no issues with crowds and the service was great! I had the brisket poutine which was kind of like fries and brisket in a watery cheese soup. Do not get this. I also had the iced hot chocolate cocktail which was ok, but don't expect anything creamy, rich, and delicious. I'm still giving this place 4 stars bc I loved it.
