The shop itself is great and offers more than just meat--utensils, barbecue supplies, vacuum sealers, and even video games, which is a fun touch. The grocery store also has many unique items like locally made foods and specialty goods. They had a ton of employees working which was great because everything moved fast. Then I saw the delicious banana peppers (amongst other things) and bought both varieties of those and a few BBQ meatballs (all of these made in-house). I got home and threw the banana peppers in the oven immediately and warmed up the meatballs as a little appetizer while I waited (hey, I hadn't eaten all day and it was dinner time!). The meatballs were great ... they were mini and size but packed with flavor. Of the 2 banana pepper varieties I bought, me and my son both agreed the one with Italian sausage in it was our favorite! We absolutely cannot wait to have them again ... so much so that I had to call and make sure they are a regular option so I can grab them soon! The store itself is incredibly clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. The cuts of meat are beautiful. There's plenty of raw meat options, cooked items, fresh and frozen, individual or bulk, some salads, deli meats and cheese, a few other things. Oh, there's tons of unique hamburgers too in which they mix their ground beef with various ingredients for different flavors. Listen, I'm just here to tell anyone looking for seeded watermelons (because they're nowhere to be…read morefound in the area) that Niagara Produce has both seeded and unseeded watermelons! Why does this matter? Well, over 90% of the watermelons in our great country are now unseeded and I don't know about you but I care that my fruits and vegetables are not genetically modified and I eat the entire watermelon because health benefits matter. You can and should eat the seeds of the watermelon, they're super duper good for you! You can also eat the rind (yes, you can). Or just save some seeds and grow them yourself. Scary to think so many of our foods are now seedless, this madness has to stop! I could say so much more on the subject but I'll stop now and just add... Niagara Produce is a great place to shop for your grocery needs, they have a great selection of produce, meats and even cheeses if you're looking for charcuterie board goodies. They have a full deli and their produce has a lot of variety with some local products too. They have a lot of local products as well as what feels like things made in house. Super cool to support local here. They also have an ice cream shop and a Just Pizza location inside the store which is great especially if you go grocery shopping hungry which seems to happen to me quite often. Even though it may have been a little pricer, it was worth it as the owner was pleasent, and offered a wide variety of items ( over 40 different local small business products) ranging from gimourmet popcorn, hot sauce, honey, dips, and bbq sauce, buffalo themed products as well. Enjoyed conversation with this fellow small business owner, and thought it was wonderful and heartwarming he credited his success to his parents.
