Excellent butcher with a large selection of meats and prepared foods like sausages, stuffed anything, etc. There was so much to look at in the meat case we spent at least 10 minutes looking at everything then narrowing down what to get because we wanted to buy half the case. We ended up getting Buffalo chicken sausage and beef on weck sausages, both were great. Also got a stuffed hot pepper thing which was awesome, and Allen burgers which we didn't try yet. The grocery store also has many unique items like locally made foods and specialty goods. They had a ton of employees working which was great because everything moved fast. If this store was in my neighborhood I don't think I would need to go to the chain grocery store. I went on Wednesday for their Canadian bacon deal...12 /6oz in a case for $15. Their sausage special this week was taco sausage for $2.99 a lb. So I had to try it.... Real good. The store is always crowded but you can get fast service at the meat, deli and cashiers. Parking lot is small but people are in and out so fast that I've never had a problem getting a space. The store is kinda small and located right in the middle of a neighborhood. Their homemade Polish sausage is so good, reminds me of my childhood. Cold cuts are sliced per order and better prices than any chain grocery store. We don't get to Sloan Market often, but I'm always amazed how many people are in there. We were there this time early on a Wednesday afternoon & the place was packed. There's plenty of people working at the meat counters and the registers, so even with a crowd, the service is quick. We were there on this visit strictly for their fresh kielbasa. So good! This store was just okay. I feel it would be better if you were going their to get meat products, but we weren't We were going for snacks or drinks. There was basically no good snacks even though it is supposedly a "supermarket" but it's really not, most of the store was meat and some people were wanting good produce but the only produce they had were like lettuce, and lemons. The pepperoni was grey. If it is a meat store, why is the pepperoni grey? Some employees were nice. The store was packed. I just don't understand why it is labelled as a "Super Market" but there is like no good snacks. The drinks there like Brisk Iced Tea were really good and cheap. One gatorade at the store was dented. Probably the best value for quality meats in the Buffalo area. I was able to get USDA Prime sirloin steaks for $6.99 lb. These were prime steaks, and the quality was fantastic. If you want to beat inflation, check out the weekly specials and stock up. This has been a buffalo staple since I can remember. Being a small child I remember my grandparents would frequent here to get large quantities of meats and poultry for a low cost. This place is as un-commercialized and locally owned as it gets. Anything that you can think of they have & make it cut in house. Some of their things are cheaper than most of the chain stores, but some of their stuff is slightly higher (but we're talking under $1/lb)..however the quality by far exceeds the cost and you don't waste half of your chicken trimming the excess fat. They even have deals if you want to stock up and have the room for it to buy in bulk. I love this head and gem and I'm so disappointed in myself for waiting this long to try it as an adult. Great local meat market. Tons of fresh and frozen varieties of meat, cheese, condiments and other assorted foods. I love that they have prime and choice options on the beef to upgrade for special occasions. They also have a flier for weekly specials. If you have the freezer space or friends willing to share a large quantity you can really get great products at a great deal. For example 15 lb box of bacon for $30 and 40 lb box of chicken breast for $40. You can also get a better deal if you want to buy an entire loin of meat, they will slice it to your specifications. The good deals go quickly and it's a smaller space so try and go early to get the deals. Staff is helpful and friendly. Everyone is wearing masks and following covid protocols. read more

This place is a family owned super market. It definitely has an old time neighborhood feel when you walk in. The butcher counter is absolutely the best. We stocked up yesterday and their prices are decent. My favorites are grandma Camillo's meatballs, the stuffed Buffalo chicken breast and breaded chicken cutlets. There was also a deal on baby back ribs yesterday that we went for. The people working the counter are petty pleasant to deal with. I definitely think this place is worth the 35 minute trip. read more

A great butcher is your best friend, and Camillo's are the best. I follow their Facebook page to get the weekly sale flier. Meat can be pricey but Camillo's makes your food dollar go further. In the run/up to Easter, they were advertising my favorite fresh polish sausage, so we loaded up our freezer at an incredible price. Same with gorgeous chuck roasts and whole beef brisket. The products are as fresh as can be. You can't always say that about the chain grocery stores. Camillo's also carry's a wide assortment of frozen vegetables and cheeses in the dairy case. You'll feel like a kid in a candy store when you see their huge assortment of preserved items: pickles, olives, peppers, chutneys, BBQ sauces. Located in a residential area, there is a surface parking lot and additional parking street side. I like to call my order in for a pickup later in the day. This has been one of my favorite meat markets to date. I have shopped here for over 20 years and it doesn't matter what part of town I live in, it is worth the drive. I have always gifted people gift certificates for packages and they have become long standing customers as well. Years ago they remodeled a bit, although small they have just about anything you could want. They have meat packages that you can alter to accommodate your needs and are pretty reasonable. Today I stopped in to get some seafood. I had my brother with me and he is a huge fan of the McDermott sausage. So of course we got that and then checked out some other finds. You can always count on them to have some reasonable deals on premade sandwiches, snacks, cookies or whatever. Although this is a complete small market.. I always consider it more of a meat market. But if your family indulges in quick foods like pizza logs, potato skins and stuff like that..you can luck up on those things also. Because this place is so small ...social distancing is a bit difficult. People swarm in and are a bit to impatient to adhere to guidelines. They are doing the beat with getting you in and out, the kine goes QUICK ( after pulling a number) so be prepared to place your order. The checkout is also quick ... I took advantage of the sale on large crab legs for $29.99 per pound. They looked great and were cheaper than what I had seen at my local market. Because this year has had so many cancellations and disappointments, Thanksgiving was decreased to just the six of us! Let's do something special! So, we ordered a turdunkin from Sloan market! In case you're wondering, that is a chicken stuffed into a duck stuffed into a turkey with stuffing! We chose cornbread stuffing with bacon and Gouda. It was awesome! Came in a roaster pan with exact instructions. Be advised though that because it is boneless except for turkey legs and wings, it takes much longer to roast. 14 pounder took 9 hrs at 250 degrees! Then an hour to rest before carving! If you try to carve to hot, it just falls apart It was way to much for 6 people but there was originally supposed to be more! It was moist, tasty and tender! We all really enjoyed it even as leftovers for several days! We have been buying meat, chicken, cold cuts and in-house made sausage for years at Sloan market and have never been disappointed! Some of their everyday prices are whoa, a bit high. But when they run their super deals, they are truly SUPER DEALS. Their breaded chicken fingers by the case, the huge 40 lb cases of chicken wings, their 40lb case of chicken breasts (pay the little bit extra to have them cleaned and filleted! Worth every penny!!!) I took a star off b/c they keep the carts outside the store, but the doors aren't automated and I've watched way too many people, including elderly, really STRUGGLE to get those carts in and out. Plus... the store always smells a little bit *funky*. I know it can't be helped too much in a deli/butcher shop, but it's a tad off-putting. read more

I'd say the ONLY knock, and it's not really a knock, is that it was so busy it took a while to just check out. We recently bought a smoker and have been experimenting with barbequeing various things. The first thing we bought was an $88 brisket from Federal Meats. Then we discovered this place. We were able to purchase a much larger brisket for about $15-$20 less. Besides being an excellent and affordable butcher (with a great variety in cuts of meat) this small market is jam packed with goodies including: fruits and veg, pre-made side dishes like pasta salads, olives, spreads, pierogies, many types of homemade sausages, very reasonably priced parmesan and pecorino, frozen foods, pickles, fresh breaded chicken and pork cutlets, etc. This place is probably always packed so be prepared to have your personal space invaded, be jostled, to squeeze through the aisles, and to grab a number for the butcher and deli areas. But despite the array of people standing around the butcher/deli don't despair, we took a number and were the second people called -- most everyone was standing around gazing at the glorious selection of meats and hadn't taken a number yet. read more

Came here with some of my co workers to buy the sweet heart deal for two which consists of: 2 (8 oz) n.y. strip steaks 2 (3 oz) lobster tails 8oz cooked shrimp 2 (7oz) twice baked potatoes and dessert. $19.99 for everything. This place is great. Although I discovered the Sloan Market in the Spring, I'm just reviewing it now after my most recent visit. Think an old time neighborhood grocery/butcher shop and that's Sloan Market. The staff is always friendly and helpful, even though they are crazy busy at times. I grabbed a chicken cordon-bleu from the case for dinner which was excellent. It could have served two people, it was so big. (The dog was really happy when I was done eating) I also love their home made sausages. They have about 30 flavors, many quite interesting. Am I forgetting that that's the way it was, or did they make that change within the past year? They have so much good stuff, it's hard to go in with a budget in mind. You go in thinking that you will buy a few pounds of sandwich meat and leave with that. Next thing you have some sausages, pierogies, stuffed peppers, a few steaks, and oh yeah, the thick cut bacon looks good, Costanzo rolls, Weber's mustard, peppers / onions for the sausages.... You get my point. I buy huge briskets here for smoking. They will cut it for you if you want. Good amount of marble. Pork / beef ribs / butt .. all excellent. Stop in. Check it out. I purchased a "choice" beef tenderloin for $16.99 lb. The thing looks more like chuck. I have been buying meat here for over 20 years and have never seen a cut of tenderloin look so bad. $125 for this and I spent a 20 minutes trimming it. Threw away more than a half pound of waste. During the holidays my family always makes it a point to comer here and stock up. The price cannot be beat. They have many different meats to choose from anything you are in the mood for they have. Lots of Christmas hams to pick and all the trimmings as well. They have many flavors of link sausages so very convenient to get 2 links of each to try or of the ones you really like for a variety. They have a little bit of everything and will package your meats as you wish. Saturdays they can get very busy so I would suggest going first thing in the morning.
