I grew up in Buffalo and Redlinski's was the Polish sausage my parents always bought in the Broadway Market. Not living in Western New York for 55 years , I was surprised they were still in business. When I returned home (450 miles away) I realized my order was wrong I called and spoke to Joe on Walden Ave. about my problem, I am happy to say he was pleasant and came up with a solution that was good for us both. Everyone knows Redlinski Meats. Being on the market since 1947 speaks for itself. For four generations, the family-run butcher shop has earned a high reputation and a strong position on the market. People love their products and appreciate the consistent high quality and variety of merchandise. I usually visit their store if I happen to be in the area. I really like their slab bacon. It's always fresh and super flavorful. They offer two kinds of 'kiszka' -- light and dark. Unfortunately, for some reason, there is a very skimpy amount of blood used in the process. Both options taste rather, I would say, closer to a scrapple. I'm not a big fan of their sausage either, but it's just my personal preference. Kabanos was highly processed and too salty, too. Recently I tried their ham and I have to admit, it was very good piece of cold cut, definitely worth trying. The meats are great! They always look extremely fresh and invitingly. They also offer 'pierogi', soups and premade portions of stuffed meats ready to be cooked. Definitely every meat eater will find something tasty and satisfying at Redlinski. This was our first time to this nice local butcher shop. We were greeted by a staff member at the door who was controlling how many people were allowed in at once. He was very helpful and informative and we were inside in less than 5 minutes. After some browsing we decided to try the homemade (frozen) oxtail soup, fresh polish sausage and Italian sausage. I liked that they had a bunch of homemade soups to go. This is something a little different than other places and the portion was nice. The soup was enough for a meal for 1 or a side for 2 people. The broth was flavorful, meaty and comforting. The sausages were both good, not the best sausage I ever had but not bad at all. The polish was our favorite and was juicer than the Italian. There were some delicious looking steaks which we didn't try this time but will next. They had some higher end super thin sliced steak to make a deluxe steak, pepper and onion hoagie which looked wonderful. There were also some sauces, condiments and spices to help make the rest of your meal. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone was wearing masks and following covid protocols. read more

Easter breakfast with their sausage and ham is a family tradition for us. Called in my order on Wednesday for a Friday pickup. They only do driver's for the holidays and I went there 45 minutes before they opened so hopefully avoid long lines. Their own brand sausage is the best anywhere. Their prices seem much higher than before, (even allowing 20% for inflation ). They did away with any discount for the military, sad, a minor point. So yes I will go back but not with the same fervor I once had. read more

Kudos to Redlinski staff for doing an amazing job during this trying time of COVID pandemic. My mom and I have been coming here for years for traditional Easter food of polish sausage, pierogi, ham of the bone. We couldn't get through on their phones since they were down to place order, so we took a ride, unsure of the process on what to except with the pandemic. Their system worked well kind of reminded me of an assembly line. A runner comes to your car, takes your order and form of payment and plate information. Another person comes out with your order, places it in your back seat and your on your way. The whole wait time in mid afternoon was only a half hour which was quick for the start of a holiday weekend. Great local business that's finding a way to adapt and still thrive in the Easter season. Be sure to stop there for your Easter needs, their selection may be limited on their normal items but theirs plenty of traditional foods for the holiday. read more

I read the review that said they have terrible tasting polish sausage.... ridiculous. I have been buying their fresh Polish sausage for years- even now when I live on the west coast- and it is incomparable. There is nothing better- anywhere. Their meats are always fresh and my biggest regret about living elsewhere is that butchers of this caliber are few and far between. I wish they weren't closed Sundays and Mondays but otherwise I can't think of one thing I don't love about Redlinski's. read more

My fave butcher to get Polish goods and high quality meats. It is a combination of old-fashioned Broadway Market birch meets Buffalove. The butchers are super courteous, helpful, and they will take even the smallest bag out to your car for you. They are excellent. read more

Went in Saturday to get some fresh sausage. I brought my son in the first time and he was looking at the all the different items. The lady waiting on us was rude and even rolled her eyes at us. She rushed us in and out of the place. My son was even like who that lady was rude. No one was in the store and no reason to act rude. The food is great here and I've been here at least 50 times. I ordered 5 pounds of smoked sausage two weeks before Easter. I go in to pick it up the day before Easter, when it was supposed to be ready, and they are out. They gave me the rest of the order and didn't even mention that it was short 5 pounds of smoked sausage! I don't know what it is about their meats. They all seemed a very light pink color. I'm used to seeing dark red smoked meats but this place doesn't seem to smoke the meats that much. I think Redlinski meats is doing a great job supplying their guests with fresh meats while keeping up with health requirements and standards during the COVID pandemic. I called their facility and reached a helpful associate who answered all the questions I had about their products since I didn't have a meat case in front of me. I ended up ordering 2lbs of chicken wings and 2lbs of ground sirloin. I scheduled a pickup time and gave them my payment info over the phone. I arrived at Redlinski Meats later that afternoon and was greeted at the car promptly in their lot, gave them my name and order, and within 5 minutes, I received my meats, which were packaged nicely by the way, and my receipt. (which came to just under $19) Once I got home , I saw that the meat appeared fresh and of high quality. I can't wait to try making my own chicken wings in my air fryer! So, support our local businesses if you can in these times (in all times actually!) I appreciate the hard work you guys are doing, keep it up! read more

I LOVE it here!! Try getting your short ribs cut too specifications at your local Supermarket, NOT happening. They might all wear butcher coats, but no one knows how to cut meat. The hot dogs are the only ones I'll eat and worth every penny. The ham honestly cannot be beat and I feel like I'm eating a salt lick if I try any other brand. read more

As a Buffalo ex-pat living in the midwest, a place where people pronounce kielbasa "kolbassy" and pierogi "per-o-gee", I've come to appreciate the pork perfection of Redlinski's. This is a Buffalo gem! So while some people appreciate the dark red gleam imparted by a heaping helping of FDC red #40, true Polskas love the fact that we can get real smoked kielbasa with marjoram, eye watering horseradish and darn near perfect bologna and fresh kielbasa. Always fresh and tasty meats and a great selection of condiments and seasonal foods and gifts. A favorite of ours is their beef sticks, one taste will ruin slim Jim's for you they are fantastic. We also like their chorizo, the variety of other sausages and they have fresh meats as well. There's a deli counter and in summer months they have a fresh grill going at lunch some days. The store is great but I come here mostly for the outdoor grill, it's fantastic deliciousness!!!! I've pretty much eaten everything on the menu at least once and have not found anything to be less than amazing. I purchased a container of Borowiki mushrooms (Polish imported) to make a soup seen on Martha Stewart's cooking show. The container was mislabeled. It said $39.95 per lb. It was actually per ounce. The mushrooms were bits and pieces and lots of woody stems that had to be discarded. You can buy them whole from Poland for less than this price. read more
