I've been working with him for 3 months due to plantar fasciitis. He's approach is more old school, but of course tailored to each person. I didn't want to go with shots right out of the gate, I wanted to heal. While it takes some time, his advice, his awesome podiatrist assistant Sue, and his methods are great. I had to repeatedly ask her to clarify what she was telling me. I did not receive any printed information on preparing for this procedure or what to expect or even if I could drive home on my own. In addition, she chastised me when I told her my pain level. Why ask that question if you don't take patients seriously. So I did what healthcare professionals tell us NOT to do, I had to look the information up on the internet. turns out that I do need a driver and a day off work which I did not prepare for. Sad when AI is your only hope. I have been with Excelsior for years and years. The changes that have been made in procedure and healthcare "professionals" are not an improvement for patients. I guess we all have to live with progress now that excelsior is a huge conglomerate and not patient centered. PS c Cori is not the only PA at excelsior who could take lessons from the frontline staff who are kind and respectful. Needless to say I am verry concerned about going through with the procedure.

At my visit, the friendly service and careful insurance plan review remained consistent, and the Doctor was one of the friendliest I have ever worked with. I was given hydros, they didn't work at all. The office made me go in to see them on Saturday to get new pain meds. I saw Dr. Perelstein, he was great. He gave me a script for oxycodone, this worked. Today is Thursday, dec 13, almost one week later. I am still in pain and only have 5 pain pills left. I called the office to request more pain pills, at least enough for the weekend because I have an apt on Monday for a look at my foot. Dr. Davidson told me that he will not give me anymore and that I need to go to the emergency room if I needed pills. I got off the phone very upset. I called his office back and said that I was very disappointed with what Dr. Davidson said. Why should my insurance company have to pay for an er visit when he could just prescribe a few pills for the weekend. I told them that I was going to call my insurance company and tell them what he said and that I was going to file a complaint. The people at Clarke Ventresca Foot & Orthotic Center are just great people and are really good at…read morewhat they do. If you ever need to get some work done on your feet this is the place to go. So I had ingrown toe nails and it got to the point where they had to be dealt with. My wife recommended Clarke Ventresca because her grandfather had gone there before when he had foot issues, so I booked an appointment and went in for a consultation. On the day of the consultation I went in, they examined my toes and gave me options on how to proceed. They were very informative and answered any questions I had. We decided on treatment and I was booked in for a few weeks later. On the day of my treatment everything went great. They are very skilled and I had almost no pain during any part of the procedure (just a little before the freezing). It only took about an hour and then they provided me with all the supplies I would need for after care and booked a follow up before sending me on my way. I had a few follow up appointments just to make sure that everything was healing right. It all went well and I am now fully healed. This whole experience was great and I feel so much better now, and I am pain free for the first time in a long time. It is all thanks to the people at Clarke Ventresca. They are highly skilled professionals and will take the best care of you. They were always there for me both before and after the procedure and would help me in any way they could.
