I've been working with him for 3 months due to plantar fasciitis. He's approach is more old school, but of course tailored to each person. I didn't want to go with shots right out of the gate, I wanted to heal. While it takes some time, his advice, his awesome podiatrist assistant Sue, and his methods are great. After surgery, I continued to have pain and so I was sent every 2 to 3 months for knee injections which never helped. I kept asking for imaging and was told it's just how my knee healed. After Douglas retired. I asked why I was never given the option for Moore imaging and his nurse practitioner sent me for imaging. It turns out I needed a complete knee replacement so I did had Dr.Hlubik do my knee replacement. Days later, I went back to get my stitches out, and my leg was on fire. It hurts so bad . I was told it was normal . I told his PA Nolan I was going to the emergency room for imaging when I left the office . A half an hour later he called me to tell me to go to Windsong to get an ultrasound . Had to be poured on blood thinners because there were too large blood clots in my leg. From that point on I was completely forgotten about for a month. I kept calling and messaging my patient portal asking for physical therapy and nobody answered the patient portal and the women that answered the telephone would tell me there was never an authorization for PT. Finally my insurance company sent me the pre-op that was dated April 2025.! The same day the operation was authorized. Finally in August I was allowed to go to physical therapy. I got apologies up and down from a patient's advocate, and then Dr. Hlubik called me to apologize. I don't blame him entirely because it's his team that let me down.. I will forever beyond blood thinners because the blood clots are still in my leg. I was never able to return to my career for New York State.. which affected my retirement. And I don't know if anyone has checked lately but blood thinners run about $300 a month.. in case anyone's wondering I've had quite a few surgeries and never developed a blood clot and I was a very healthy 52 year-old woman when they started. At my visit, the friendly service and careful insurance plan review remained consistent, and the Doctor was one of the friendliest I have ever worked with. I was given hydros, they didn't work at all. The office made me go in to see them on Saturday to get new pain meds. I saw Dr. Perelstein, he was great. He gave me a script for oxycodone, this worked. Today is Thursday, dec 13, almost one week later. I am still in pain and only have 5 pain pills left. I called the office to request more pain pills, at least enough for the weekend because I have an apt on Monday for a look at my foot. Dr. Davidson told me that he will not give me anymore and that I need to go to the emergency room if I needed pills. I got off the phone very upset. I called his office back and said that I was very disappointed with what Dr. Davidson said. Why should my insurance company have to pay for an er visit when he could just prescribe a few pills for the weekend. I told them that I was going to call my insurance company and tell them what he said and that I was going to file a complaint. So I had ingrown toe nails and it got to the point where they had to be dealt with. My wife recommended Clarke Ventresca because her grandfather had gone there before when he had foot issues, so I booked an appointment and went in for a consultation. On the day of the consultation I went in, they examined my toes and gave me options on how to proceed. They were very informative and answered any questions I had. We decided on treatment and I was booked in for a few weeks later. On the day of my treatment everything went great. They are very skilled and I had almost no pain during any part of the procedure (just a little before the freezing). It only took about an hour and then they provided me with all the supplies I would need for after care and booked a follow up before sending me on my way. I had a few follow up appointments just to make sure that everything was healing right. It all went well and I am now fully healed. This whole experience was great and I feel so much better now, and I am pain free for the first time in a long time. It is all thanks to the people at Clarke Ventresca. They are highly skilled professionals and will take the best care of you. They were always there for me both before and after the procedure and would help me in any way they could.
