I thought for a while on whether to leave a review or not. Obviously it won't change anything and the practice just leaves generic comments to any comment that someone places that is not positive. But I have to say as someone who is going to a plastic surgeon to feel better about themselves, whether for a tummy tuck or liposuction, or face procedures, or whatever... You expect your surgeon to have some kind of warmth or human ability when it comes to communication. When I say she would come in the room and ask, "so how are you doing?" multiple multiple times that was literally the extent of her ability to have a conversation. The work she did on me was OK. The post operation guidelines are not the best and I would have to call or message the office regularly to make sure I was doing the right things taking the right medication's and so on. I wore compression garments, I still do to be honest. The last time I went for a follow up the doctor she implied that I wasn't eating properly, that I wasn't healing properly, that I needed to watch my salt intake, and not one positive thing was said, even about her own work, or about how I was doing with the recovery. I don't expect someone to Inflate my ego or be fake but at the same time you're going there to feel better about yourself. Every visit I had with the nursing staff or the girls at the counter was great. They're very friendly, smiling, very nice. The surgeon is a whole Nother story. If I ever have anything done again, small medium, large, whatever the case may be, I would never go back to this woman Based on how she made me feel about myself whether her work was good or not. She's rated very well in the area. Good for her. Maybe people look past the fact that she is cold. I am not one of those people. And she is super super expensive because she is rated so well in the area. I wish I had shopped around more and saved myself and my family thousands of dollars but I was excited that she was rated so well in the area. I hope this helps people in the future. When you have body issues whether they're real or not real to yourself they are. And when you're going to a doctor and spending tens of thousands of dollars to make your appearance better because you're older, you've had kids, you have hormone issues, You want someone to be supportive and pleasant. I had Dr. Dawli do several surgical procedures on me and I was so happy with my results they were beyond what I could have ever hoped for. My first procedure was Upper & Lower Blepharoplasty I waited a long time considering having this surgery. I had inquired about this procedure a few years earlier but because of fear I decided I was not ready. She was informative and more importantly I trusted her. From the day I met her I knew she was the Doctor for me. She was very professional and had a great bedside manner. I felt very much at ease. She made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I had some minor swelling and bruising all around my eyes but I was not in any pain. From the day of surgery to the day my stitches were removed I did not experience any pain. I went back 6 days later to have the stitches removed. I actually was more nervous over having the stitches removed then I was about the surgery. After a couple of months I went back to Dr. Dawli for Botox injections on my forehead and the results were perfect. Dr. Dawli took her time making sure each injection was exactly right. I was 58 and after having 2 babies, I found that, even though I take good care of my body, I was self-conscious about how my breasts looked. The results that I have now are excellent and I am extremely happy. I am so very glad and lucky that I made the right choice of having the procedure done by Dr. Dawli. I was touched by how intently she listened to me, and how much she wanted my breasts to match my expectations. Over the years I have listened to other women tell me their cosmetic surgeons didn't listen to them, making their breasts too big---or not respecting what they had agreed upon pre-op. Not so with Dr. Dawli I also decided to try Restylane to improve the look of the small lines around my mouth and I am happy I did. In January 2025, I had a tummy tuck by Dr. Dawli. The office staff members are exceptional and communicate well. However, I ultimately wanted to have the dog ears from where the drains were fixed (this can be a common occurrence with a TT). I went in early July to have them repaired (one on each hip area ). The left side immediately swelled up, was red, and developed an egg like sac under the skin. The office promptly sent in antibiotics to be on the safe side (which was great) . However, within the next 10 days, the egg-like sac did not diminish and was painful . I am a nurse and I've had many surgeries Carpal Tunnel , appendectomy, a foot surgery, not to mention my patients.' Needless to say, I knew it had to be aspirated . When I talked to Dr. Dawli she kept reiterating that it was not infected and she was confused as it initially did not hurt me. I explained it had changed and grown with fluid. I really had to advocate for myself here and this is a lesson for us all. You know your body . Ultimately, she did agree to aspirate the fluid for me (grateful) and I continued with the compression and warm compresses . But I initially felt dismissed. Overall, I am happy with the work I had. But I highly highly recommend you advocate for yourself . Update: Dr. Dawli called me within 30 seconds of this review and left a VM indicating she did not agree with what I said . read more
