Stumbled across this place when i was upgrading my truck license at Highway driving school just…read morenext door :) Initially walked straight past it for coffee at the Factoria and it only caught my eye on the way out :). They only open thursdsy through to Sunday from 5pm - 10pm, pretty decent hours for a late night appetizer :D!! The menu is at the front of the shop making it nice and easy to see what's on offer :). They had the Philly cheese steak rolls, loaded Hot dogs, loaded and plain fries and deep fried oreos :) I opted for the mushroom Philly cheese steak, love mushrooms haha!! Also got the the Philly hot dog which was a schnitzel crumbed Vienna hot dog and then deep fried .. :D, got chips and a drink with the deep fried oreos as a no brainer to order haha !! 2 mates both got the Philly cheese steak roll meal aswell & an NY Hot dog with a serving of deep fried oreos each aswell :). It was a cool lay out with libe American football on the TV to the left of the counter, 2 wooden bench table for seating, a small table ro the right of the counter with sauces/pickles to add on and a drum fire in the centre to warm up :), slightly 10 times better than those crappy tall gas heaters you see at all the restaurants everywhere these days haha The Cheese steak rolls were big and cheesy and on the tasty side .. wasn't on the hard side to scoff it down before you thought about taking it slow haha.. the hot dogs were on the average side but still not bad tasting but if i went back i would just stick to the Philly cheese steaks :)!! Last but not least the deep fried oreos, they weren't ready when we got our meals handed to us but they were conveniently ready when we had finished eating so it was perfect timing :). Is what a perfect amount of Batter on the oreos and it xame with oreo ice cream aswell :). My highlight of ths night was definitely the Oreos :D!! This place definitely kicks the butts of the majority of try hard Ameican places that have opened up in the city. The quality for the city places gets lost in trying to be the best when this place has a basic menu, the food qaulity is on point and for it being in a semi industrial area with the exception of a cafe and Italian restaurant beside it, it still got younger and older crowds, also a few families coming past for the cookies :D Also the people who were working there were super friendly and helpful :D!!

As an American who has traveled the states extensively while trying plenty of BBQ along the way, I…read morewas a bit hesitant of the thought of smoked brisket on this side of the pond. I shouldn't have been. I'm going to make a bold claim here...not only was this some great BBQ, it may be some of the best I've ever had, period. Brisket was tender and juicy with a beautiful smoke ring and absolutely delicious bark. The sausage links are stuffed with cheese and a hint of jalapeño, and smoked perfectly while the coleslaw and mac and cheese finished off the meal just right. How good is this place you ask? I ate here two days in a row...I can't even remember the last time I've eaten BBQ twice in a week in the states and after round one I HAD to go back. Great guys behind the counter, delicious food and a casual yet modern atmosphere make this one a must try. You will not be disappointed!

Wow! The best smoked items I try in Sydney, by far!…read more New fave place for Texas American Style BBQ. Music, place and the vibe reminds me when I travelled to State. Food in here is the real deal, similar to some famous smoke houses in NY, Texas, Kansas or New Orleans Yes it's expensive, meat platter: for 1 is $ 40, platter for 2 $70, but it was worth and damn yummy! So we decided to have platter for 2, with proteins and sides are follow: 3 choices of protein; 1.Brisket, well off course is the best option for Low and slow food. This cut of beef is most popular in Texas and the central south. Since this shop I think adapting Texas style american BBQ, I have to try this item. Brisket meat is so tender, gelatinous and it's just melted in my mouth! 2.Chicken Juicy and tender chicken breast, smoked ring not so strong like on the brisket, but for sure it's awesome pieces of white meat. People are tent to overcooked this, but my pieces that I try was delicious! 3. Pork Ribs This for me a little let down, not so many meat around the bone, but still delish! 2 sides: 1. Brisket bean This side dish was a bomb! Jam packed full of flavour. (I'm guessing ) this underrated bean that transport all the Smokey iron bark flavour, was cooked and mixed with drips from the brisket. Seasoning taste identical, dark pitch black colour doesn't looks very appealing but taste so heavenly! 2. Mac & Cheese Well, honestly I try best version somewhere else, This dish doesn't really made with love, a little lack of creaminess, and no kick of cheese flavour. The next round will be short ribs, pastrami and some hot link ( so Texas! ). If I'm lucky next time I will try the burnt end as well, hope they are available for me on next visit!

The atmosphere was exactly what you'd want from a traditional sports bar -- plenty of screens, cold beer flowing, and a lively crowd getting into the action. We ordered wings and beer, while we watched the game. The wings were noticeably tiny by American standards, but they were cooked really well.

We asked about to go and were told that we had to order off the regular menu. Ok, no problem but are the wings the same as the special wings of the day. We were informed they were. We said "good we like small ones!" We paid, received our bag and left. When we arrive back at our place we opened up our boxes. No celery included. Then there were the wings. They were almost the size of baby turkey wings and totally soggy. So much for excitement of 2 orders of hot wings that didn't happen. Service was good. The place had a good number of customers seeming to be very happy. Just not happy with my order as we were told it would be. Our fault for not opening the food containers before we left. Recommend one eat at the restaurant versus take away.
