I played horrible, but likely due to the last course of a grueling week. The course is a challenge, but play it honestly and you'll do well. Watch out for the rough, its thick and venturing off of the fairway may cost you some time trying to locate you ball. We all mentioned we would do this again. Apparently no Stay/Play options, but plenty of rentals around the area. Great off-the-beaten-path course.

This course is like a goat ranch. The were also uncut and slower than fuck. The fairways were not much better you could hardly tell where the fairways ended and the fringe of the greens started. The tee boxes were in rough shape also uncut unwatered. Who ever the golf course superintendant is needs to have his ass fired. What a joke of a golf course. First time ever playing there and it will be my last. They will never get my money again. Also they say they serve breakfast i also found out after getting there they dont make ant breakfast items at all and have to wait until around 1030 or 11 to get any cooked food. What a dissapointment, Shame on Pat Cook and her sons for letting all this happen. But i guess they care more about the bottom line dollar than repeat customers. If i were you i would look elsewhere to play golf and spend your hard earned dollar. Also they only comments you see are from years past nothing recent. if they had posted ant recent comments i would have never played there today. What a joke of a golf course.

We let others play through and they were understanding. Great hospitality here! They served our drinks in an ice bag that could have stayed by itself on the course, but the carts even came with a cooler to store drinks! I loved the coolers attached, what an attention to detail. The facilities are lovely, and the drink options were very affordable! I love how halfway through, the course comes back to main house to facilitate a restroom break and drink refill. I cannot recommend this place enough, we had such a fabulous time.

The green fees are high ($450) but if destination golf is your thing then you won't even blink as you swipe the credit card. The gift bag after the round is a very nice touch, the bag includes a small bottle of whiskey, cigar, and a personalized bag tag. Forecaddies are mandatory.
