We stayed for 2 nights this past weekend. Course is excellent. Their rental property is outstanding. But by far, far, the key to this place is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Staff was friendly and helpful, course was in pretty good shape, sand in the bunkers take a little getting used to but were fair. Pace of play was absolutely unacceptable, with no one out there to get the pace moving. 5+ hours for a round of golf is unacceptable. Sad that we did not get to play 18 because we had to leave to go to the airport after being on the course for 5:15 minutes through 17 holes. read more

Expensive for quality of course. We played another course the following day in another city and paid less than half the fee of Sultan's run, and the course was in better condition. Course was not wet, but we had to use cart path only for what seemed to be about 50% of the course, and the course is not conducive to walking especially for older people. It was difficult to walk to your ball and trying to figure out what club you needed. Most the time I was taking 3-4 clubs with me to my ball. We recommend this course only for young, experienced golfers. Average golfers and beginners should definitely avoid this course. Finally, we prefer to play as a couple, but the golf course insisted on putting a third player on our tee time with us. We don't really enjoy playing with someone we don't know. I guess it's all about the buck at this place. It took us 4 hours to play 18 when we usually can finish closer to three at many courses. Extremely disappointed! We won't be back! read more

Definitely the nicest golf course I've ever played. The people who run it are very nice. Their golf pro Jeff Howerton has been wonderful for my golf game. Be careful not to cancel any players the day of, they charge you for the canceled round. As a local, I found that part surprising. read more

A pleasant find in southern Indiana. Very challenging, but well kept and a joy to play. The fairways are lush, but be prepared if you venture into the rough...the ball sits way down and can be a challenge to locate. Definitely would play again. My 23 year-old son and my 82 year-old father played the front nine earlier today. We decided to only play 9 holes as we brought my mother along who recently finished chemotherapy. We figured 9 holes would be her limit, even merely riding along and watching on the cart. For anyone interested in playing a challenging course with a lot of varied topography, this course is a must! It will challenge even the best golfers while offering those who are less skilled a chance to play. Regardless of skill, the views are amazing, the staff is as friendly as any you'll find anywhere and the low cost makes this a real value. read more

Sultan's Run - Golf Near Me - Jasper, Indiana

This would've received 5 stars if the fairways were a bit greener, although I'd imagine later in the season they probably are. paid $47 for 18 holes with a cart, small bucket of balls and a bottle of water. That price is a STEAL for the quality of this course. One of the finest golf course I have every played! Me and my golf buds travel on 4 golf trips per year this year to French luck! While in French lick Sultan Run was part of our package and we really didn't know what to expect. However one of the top 5 courses we have ever played and our group have played all over the world!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice job not a blade of grass out of place and very friendly staff! read more

Sultan's Run - Golf Near Me - Jasper, Indiana

This golf course is high class golf and even better high class treatment by the staff. Why join a country club when you could come here. During the week the green fee of $55 is so reasonable you feel you should pay more. The course had been hit by 100 year rains and still was in great shape. The driving range is super and you have tremendous elevation changes on most holes. I have played golf all over Illinois and it really doesn't get any better. The back tees were not impossible for this 9 Hdc. Golfer. The green fees are all day so we played 36, the Gold Tees provide plenty of challenges. read more

Is it worth the 2.5 hour drive from Indianapolis? Highly questionable, when the much superior (and cheaper) Rock Hollow is only half as far away. But a very good course it is, beyond question. read more

Bang bang bang for your buck! I played with my wife here in late June and wow what a track for $50.00! Unfortunately, it was hotter than hell and I could only get my wife to play 18. I'm from Chicago and Sultan's Run reminded me of a fine course in Kohler, WI (Black Wolf Run) at a third or quarter of the price. read more
