Location was pretty standard for BWW. Our server was great and checked on us regularly. The drinks were cold. We started with some bottomless apps which is a great deal. There are 5 options and they are the regular sizes. We had onion rings and hatch queso and later had chips and salsa. I had traditional wings with some medium buffalo and some lemon pepper. Great experience. Food was hot, fresh and on point. The bone in Wings were sauced perfectly. The burger my wife ordered was hot and flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy and seasoned great. We came to watch the NFL games. Lots of tvs and choices for the games. Ambience was definitely a hameday feel with the sound on the Cowboys. Our server was very attentive even with multiple tables, we didnt have to ask for anything. This is the perfect sports bar if you want gameday atmosphere. Can't wait until the Iron Bowl on Saturday. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt - we all are allowed to have a bad day once in awhile. Our previous visit to BWW wasn't stellar, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt so we met friends here for dinner tonight. Unfortunately, tonight was even worse. When we arrived, we were immediately seated. Finding a table wasn't too hard - we were the only patrons in the restaurant. We placed our drink orders and proceeded to peruse the menu. Our drinks came quickly - the beers were cold and my blue Long Island ice tea was refreshing. That's where things started going downhill. We had a lot of catching up to do so we really didn't mind the wait for our food. The problem, half of our food was missing. Our server checked on it then came back to apologize that he had forgotten to put some of the order in. After quite a wait, the rest of our food finally arrived. Sadly, most of our food wasn't worth the wait. I had the BBQ chicken dawg. A scrawny tender stuffed into a toasted hot dog bun - not a bad start but the tender was sitting on top of three cold fries, a bit of slaw and what seemed like a cup of ranch dressing. The top of the dawg was drizzled with a sickening sweet BBQ sauce. I ended up pulling out the tender, scrapping off all of the sauce and just eating it plain. A couple of others at our table had the buffalo dawg - one liked it, the other didn't. We also ordered tots which were piping hot, crispy and really good. We then decided to share wings, tenders and fries. The guys liked the wings though one came sauced instead of dry rubbed as ordered. The fries had been sitting too long and were lukewarm and dried out. The tenders were anemic - a better name would probably be chicken fries - they were so skinny. Our second round of drinks was also a mixed bag. Three of the beers came right away. My drink was made wrong, though the server disagreed - instead of being a pretty light blue, it came out brownish green and instead of refreshing, it tasted like a gummy bear. The fourth beer didn't show up - the keg ran out, fine, that happens, just let us know instead of keeping us hanging. Even our check was wrong - we were charged regular price although it should have been happy hour pricing. The service needs is mediocre at best. So I waited by the hostess stand for awhile with no one manning the helm, so I walked into the bar area and sat down. We visited Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) on 1/5/17 and restaurant tables were about 30% full. In spite of 70% of the tables being empty it took a long time to be treated at the front desk. After being seated it took a long time for waitress to visit our table to take our drink orders. The waitress wasn't rude but was very short with us and lacked personality. We got our food and my burger was average. I felt the burger was a little on the small size, maybe a quarter pound? The bread was larger than the meat patty and over-powered the meat. The best part of the burger was the pepper jack cheese. Finally the french fires were below average frozen fries with no flavor....thank God for ketchup! My wife had the Street Tacos and she thought they were good, but on the small size. We ordered the chocolate cake and ice cream dessert. The waitress asked us if we wanted the cake heated. Sure, we said. Well the cake arrived unheated and was dry. The ice cream had a good quality flavor. We asked for an extra spoon so we could share the dessert, but the waitress didn't return. We ate some of the cake, but didn't like it and didn't finish the dessert. When the waitress finally returned to the table she saw the half eaten dessert and asked if we liked the cake. My wife said no and the waitress removed the dessert from our bill....good! We wondered if we had sat at the bar if we would have received better service. Maybe. I should have read the reviews before I sat my happy butt down at the bar. Everyone here is clueless. If you want to be treated like crap and unwanted, go visit my ex-wife. But, if you just have your heart set on wings, cold beer and lousy service, good luck. It's obvious no one in management is paying attention to the reviews on Yelp.
