    Taco Salad with grilled chicken
    Jenifer J.

We were so excited to when we saw this location opening near us. We have been here for late lunch, late night and Football Sunday. I recommend for sure. The wings are sooooo good (and we consider ourselves wing connoisseurs). The mambo chips give a good variety of dips so it's always a good go to for sharing. The fries are unique and very delicious (get some bbq sauce for dipping.. game changer). The taco salad is to die for.. literally drooling as I type. There was one time where we came in and the server wasn't the nicest but we came back and everyone had been great since (even that same server.. may have just been a bad day and I get it).

Service is always terrible on game day. Ownership is evidently totally incapable of anticipating a full house.

Love this concept for downtown Huntsville! Doesn't get much more convenient than a slice of pizza…read morefor lunch. Razzo is located on Holmes Avenue. There's street parking and several parking garages within a block or two -- I used the one off Jefferson St by The Moon, but there's also one on the corner of Holmes and Greene Street. It's not a bad walk at all so don't let parking scare you! The one on Jefferson is free for 2 hours and the one off Greene is cheap and free on the weekends. Anyway, now that I'm off my parking pedestal... Razzo fills a great niche for good pizza downtown. Perhaps better than that for me, it fills the niche of "place that is actually open and serving food from 2-4 PM downtown." I'm salty because of my frustration over finding adequate late lunch spots, but sincerely, I was so happy to be able to walk in and get a bite before an appointment a few weeks ago! They have specialty pizzas that you can order in whole pies, as well as a semi-rotating selection of specialty single slices. You can always get a pepperoni or cheese slice though, which is usually what I prefer anyway. They have a really nice weekday lunch special for two slices, a soda, and a small oreo calzone for dessert. They do have some craft beers on tap, and a few other dessert and appetizer-y options. The whole pies are a little pricy, but that's because... The quality is awesome! Chewy but not doughy sourdough crust, gooey, look-at-the-pull mozzarella, a healthy drizzle of olive oil, a gorgeous subtle tomato sauce, and nicely smoky pepperoni: that's how I'd describe the slice I got when I visited. It was so good! I'd say this place is definitely among my picks for best pizza in town. Service was nice and my slice came out quickly. The inside is approachable and comfy and has a few diversions for the kids if they come along. I also think they deliver over to The Dirty Olive just up the street, so if you'd like a pizza with your craft cocktail, well...you know who to call! Two small things I would change, if I could: the prompted tip on the tablet at the end of each transaction is really high for counter service (like, I wanna say starts at 25% high). I'm not personally too pressed about it as it's easy to change the percent and at any rate I believe the workers deserve a healthy tip anyway, but I can see how it could be off-putting. Second, more importantly for me, I wish there was real silverware for use during dine in. The individual slices are quite large and appropriately semi-floppy and very cheesy. In these types of situations, I much prefer to cut my pizza into smaller pieces and eat with a knife and fork. Plastic ones were provided but they really didn't get the job done with how chewy the sourdough crust was. Ultimately, these nitpicks are pretty small for me. I definitely look forward to stopping by in the future for a quick, simple, and delicious lunch or dinner!

We showed up shortly after they opened and tried 2 different slices. I tried the pepperoni and the white cheese. The pepperoni was perfection. The white cheese was really good and had a bit of lemon, which I loved. The space is very open. There are some fun odes to rocket city that you'll have to look for. There is also a drawing pad for kids on the wall. I'm excited for the grand opening and to see what their full menu will look like! Keep your eyes open, it should be 3/29-3/30/25. Soft opening will be 3/27-3/28. It will be soon!

Good overall flavors and the crust tasted pretty good. The crust could have used more crunch for sure. I would also say a little heavy on the cheese and a little light on the sauce. We stopped by Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza on a whim. We were headed to check out Indian food. Walking inside we could see a room with people drinking beer. It turned out pizza is to the left and a brewery is going straight. We went inside the pizza restaurant to place an order. We ordered The Patriarch which is like a supreme pizza and the Italian salad. We were given a pager and told when it went off we could pick up our foods at the pick up counter. The Patriarch was a thin crust pizza similar to a supreme. The toppings were good but sparse. I would have preferred more meats and red sauce. The crust wasn't as crunchy as I like. I cut the pizza with a knife and fork. I didn't get the wood taste like I did on the other pizza I ate that was wood fired. 3/5 The Italian salad was made of fresh greens and included basil and some shaved Parmesan. The Italian dressing was bottled I believe but good. 4/5 This pizza restaurant is convenient by a brewery. If you indulge too much on the brews, you can get a bite to eat without leaving the building. If you are near Campus 805, aka former Stone Middle School, this restaurant is in the backside. The pizza underwhelmed me on this visit. I will return to try something else. 3/5

Wife and I got the 2nd ever BeeZr Burger. It was delicious and it paired nicely with the drinks again. This place doesn't miss.

Seriously tough call on the rating here. I think I'll settle on a 3 but it was super close to a 4,…read morejust several minor frustrations added up. I came here with one of my best friends who was home for Thanksgiving to have a girl's day out. BeeZr advertises a nice-looking brunch on the weekends so we thought we'd try it out. She wound up not being able to meet until later in the afternoon but I'm not opposed to a late brunch, so we got there around 1. It was a gray and dreary day on Thanksgiving weekend, so I get it being slow, but the restaurant was literally empty except for us and the servers. We joked it was because we'd rented the whole building to treat each other. The vibe is...fine inside. It definitely looks and feels more like a brewery than a restaurant, with large equipment and a sort of dimly lit atmosphere and a few large TVs by the nice bar. They have a small patio on the square which is REALLY lovely and definitely would've been my preference if the weather was nicer. Our server was okay. He was soft-spoken and not unpleasant, but did sort of have a knack for appearing at inopportune times during the conversation. I get that it's not always possible to avoid, but a little more discretion would've gone a long way, especially since we were the only ones in there. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. My biggest frustration was definitely the menu and item availability. I pre-read it and came knowing what I wanted (bananas foster French toast) only to discover that they were running a limited Thanksgiving weekend brunch menu and therefore it wasn't being offered that day. The first thing my friend ordered also wasn't available. I had my heart set on brunch so I asked for the breakfast burrito instead. Our waiter had to go check and make sure the kitchen could do it. Turns out they could - yay. But then I asked for potatoes to go with it -- and there were no breakfast potatoes available. I went with fries instead. When my burrito arrived at the table, there was no salsa or sour cream, which was supposed to come with it. Any component part of this experience is not a HUGE deal, but it all added up to be rather disappointing. My friend got the bulgogi tacos, which came in an order of two sort of small tacos. She liked them and said they were really good. She also got first a French mimosa and then a classic mimosa; I also had a classic mimosa. Both were generic but enjoyable. My breakfast burrito was decent, but I really missed the salsa and sour cream. The bacon inside was cut into tiny crunchy pieces, which I liked. The eggs were cooked very well but needed more salt and pepper. I enjoyed the bright burst of peppers and some were even a tiny bit spicy. It was a large serving but I wish it came with some side item instead of me having to order one. The side of fries was generous and they were really good -- super crispy but still fluffy inside. I thought the bill was a little high for 1 mimosa, a breakfast burrito, and fries -- almost $40. The burrito alone was $18, which seems like sooooo much for a brunch entree with no sides. Idk. Maybe I don't do mid-scale dining enough. Overall, I thought the quality of the food was solid enough that I'd consider returning, but I'd call ahead to see if they had what I wanted to avoid frustration.

There's ample parking and the interior looks nice enough; kind of a fun Italian mafia theme with lots of comfortable booths and an attractive bar with a good TV. Both the restaurant and the women's restroom were very clean. We entered right after opening but were made to feel quite welcome by the waitstaff. Our waitress brought our menus, including a lunch menu! I love a lunch menu. My mom and I both ordered the lunch portion of the spaghetti carbonara. She enjoyed her sweet tea and I had a diet soda. The entrees come with a piece of garlic bread. I thought the portion size and price were both perfect for a lunch serving. The garlic toast was crispy and buttery. We enjoyed our spaghetti carbonara. It's not made with eggs and cheese in the traditional way, but instead uses Alfredo sauce, which is a little disappointing to me. I remain on the hunt for that kind of carbonara in Huntsville. Still, it was a good Alfredo sauce, the pasta was cooked well, and there were ample little bacon bits. Pleasant visit, nice place for lunch -- give them a try for some solid American-Italian food if you're in the area!
