I fell face down on the floor because of multiple puddles of soupy water on the floor that are splatter at different places on the ground. The spot where I slipped and fell didn't have an orange cone or any wet floor signs up at the spot. I slipped, lost my balance and fell face down. If it wasn't for my left palm blocking me my head could have hitted the floor first. My face was less than half an inch away from the floor. The soupy water splatter all over starting from the register all the way to the women's restroom. I told the manager there and he just said "ok, I got it". No apologies or anything. Terrible experience...service was horrible, food was not good, basic expectations not met. We asked for plates when appetizers arrived; we were told they didn't have plates. We asked for silverware and a tray of forks and napkins was dropped on the table. The fries were stale, the Nashville hot wings weren't hot, veggie burger was inedible, a side of slaw was brought out in a cup that the sauce is served in (2 ounces?) but it had no dressing, just a pinch of raw cabbage. We like coming here for the Boneless Chicken deal on Thursdays. Their boneless chicken are always done well, and coated with sauce. You can tell that they are actual chunks of chicken. However, if you stray away from what they are famous for i.e. wings or boneless), then prepare to be disappointed. We had accumulated some points and we saw advertised on our table 2 new chicken sandwiches. One was Southern style and the other was Nashville Hot Chicken. We opted for the Nashville Hot Chicken to split because I have heard of that item before and thought I'd see what the hype was with Nashville Hot Chicken. What came to our table did not resemble the photo. The chicken itself was not a large piece of real chicken but some strange processed product. The texture was extremely off putting. I have to say that for the most part I despise people who go right to YELP w/o trying to resolve something with management first. In this case, the manager, the server and the hostess lied to our faces, so it's on, you get 1 star, BECAUSE I CAN'T GO LOWER. We planned to go to this location for a month. A combined going away party for a team coach and a parents challenge for wings against coaches. 12 adults and 9 kids. We aren't dumb, we called the day before, and the hostess didn't tell us they don't take reservations, she said come on down at 6:30. We moved up our plans by an hour to make this time, ending practice early. So we are there at 6:30, and not only do we not have a reservation, but we are being told they don't do reservations. We are being told by a server that our party is being split into two smaller groups. A manager and hostess are still claiming they don't reserve tables. So explain why the tables are already pushed together for a baseball team? Explain why the tables are pushed together for a bachelor party. Explain why you would stand in front of customers and lie to them rather than try to work something out for us, when you overbooked. I won't eat here again. Screwing customers over because you have as much business as you need tonight is the dubious luxury of a giant corporate chain that can rely on advertising, beer and sports to hit it's numbers rather than good product and even better service. I know, because I own a restaurant, and I hate negative reviews on YELP. Sorry BWW but you asked for this one, you begged for it. I consider myself a wing fanatic. Maybe even obsessive. I enjoy max heat with max flavor. After all what's the point of wings if you can't enjoy them? I've been to a ton of BWW locations and they're all virtually identical with the exception of the layout. This location recently had an addition to their seating, I believe, from renting out the business next door and combining it into their existing space. I haven't had a chance to check it out but added seating is always good. There are ample TV's and you can always find something to watch. The beer selection is very good for a chain restaurant. The wings are excellent. My go-to order is 12 traditional "hot" wings. Their hot sauce is the hottest traditional buffalo sauce below the "Blazing". From what I've heard the blazing is too hot to enjoy. Like I said before, I just don't see the point. The only reason I didn't rate this place four stars is for a business practice they have. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they offer cheaper wings and boneless wings, respectively. This sounds great in theory but every time I've been the wings have had less sauce and been noticeably smaller. Also, they do not offer complimentary ranch and blue cheese on these days if you opt for the cheaper wings. I get the business practice and I even understand the charging for dressing but giving less quality wings means you're not getting good value, you are simply paying for what you get. Apparently there weren't any more 2-person tables in the first dining hall. There were tall tables in the noisy bar but because of health (back/leg) issues my hubby can't sit at the tall stools any more. There were some 4-person tables open AND there was another ENTIRE DINING ROOM TOTALLY OPEN FOR YOUR RUSH hour. Would your new boy wonder seat us at a 4-person table or in the empty dining room? No! He would rather stick to what he has been told "don't seat 2 people at a 4-person table, save those for 4 people." So, you lost a sale yesterday, and probably forever. My husband was extremely angry (which is rare) and you'll be lucky if he comes back. We eat there at least once a month and I know that is not a lot, but we were loyal (we don't like other wings). We often meet up with friends whom we have not seen in a long time at your restaurant, but I'm sure that will stop. Why do you let an idiot kid ruin your business? He should have been taught that he doesn't have a job if he lets the customer walk back out the door!!! He should NOT work the hostess stand because he has not been trained adequately. I resisted going here for a long time because I thought it was a "guy's place." My husband and boys always went and they loved it. I gave in and went once and have been going back since. It's definitely a sport's bar. Lot's of big screen TVs playing various sports and gigantic draft beers. So if you go expect it to be loud and filled with sports fans. Not a bad thing, just know what you are getting. Since I found some menu items that I like I enjoy going here to meet friends and to take the kids. It's a great place to watch a big game or to watch a game you can't get at home. I like the wings- they are the best I have found. I prefer the boneless honey BBQ wing which has a little kick that can be cured with ranch dressing and celery sticks. The salads and wraps are also good. I get the chicken tender salad where you can choose the wing sauce for you wings. I love the buffalo chips (thick, natural cut french fries). I've tried the appetizers, nothing special. If you go here the wings are the item to get. That is what they do best. They have video trivia that kids like to play and a few video games. The bar area is large and it is good for groups. Visit #1 - sitting at the 1/2 full bar, my wings took 35 mins to arrive and the 2 beers I ordered were 3/4 full at best in dirty glasses. Not as good as it used to be. The staff are mostly younger and don't seem to know what customer service is all about. They seem more involved in there own conversations then with customers. On my last visit I had to wait for the hostess to stop gabbing before they asked how many where in our party. After sitting down the server showed up only as much as he got around to it in between chats and standing around. Never checked back to see if we needed anything. The food was still good as usual, but the service kills the experience. Not to mention if my wings had come out fresh instead of warm I'd have liked them better. We pick up the food or have it delivered via door dash. This time I have to write a review. 3 times in a row we wait over an hour for food and it comes cold. Not talking delivery. It's cold from there when we get it. Seems good is done but sits and people wait for it to be packaged. 3 times in a row the order is incorrect. I've had extra orders, food missing and in one case no sides came with any meals. 3 times in a row things like napkins, sauces or dips we order and straws are missing. It never ceases to amaze me how a place can completely mess up the one thing they are known for. I've always enjoyed BWW but since coming to Memphis the place here is a mess. I only go when my son asks. There needs to be better leadership, elevated standards and some sort of quality control. I can't recommend this place. The one star is not for the food.
