The first time was to get rid of unwanted stuff to prepare our home to be put on the market. Most recently we are cleaning out to move to our forever home. Lauren and Jim are fantastic. When they discovered some tables and shelving I had for them to take wouldn't fit, instead of making it my problem, they sawed them in to manageable pieces. When the fridge wouldn't fit out the door, they took 2 doors off the house -- other junk services have told me in cases like that that I have to take care of the problem myself. Apparently, I also should have taken the fridge door off -- they did that too! In addition to all this, they did it all on a Saturday night because that was the best time for me. We needed to get rid of some furniture - a recliner and an office chair. We tried the transfer station and recycling places in the area and no luck. We requested a quote from Buh Bye Junk in the morning. We received a response within the hour from owner Jim. He asked for pictures and once received immediately sent a reasonable quote. Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Jim and Lauren were awesome to deal with from start to finish! Communication was clear and easy and they responded quickly to any questions I had. They went out of their way to accommodate my scheduling needs, coming out onto the Cape on my preferred day even though they would be coming out again the following day for a different job. They were very fast, efficient and neat and their prices significantly better than any other junk/trash hauling service I had talked to for this job. On top of that they were the only company that was able to tell me why there was an additional charge for mattresses and box springs and what I could do to avoid it, although all the companies I talked to had a similar surcharge for those items. And the final icing on the cake is that they donate any usable items to charitable organizations that can use them rather than just hauling the whole lot straight to the dump.
