Julianne Pedroza, who is the Founder and CEO of this Non Profit Company, is by far the most giving, heartfelt loving person ever. She has poured her life, blood sweat and tears onto helping others. She is known to ignore her own needs in order to help others with whatever they're needing. From food, clothing, shoes, blankets, assistance in obtaining a job, a place to live, toys, appliances and so much more. She puts in hours of work giving of herself without blinking and eye. Her heart is filled with helping others in her community and it fills her with joy doing so. She's amazingly contributing selflessy and I want to personally commend her efforts for doing all this for others. read more

I saw A list of families in need to adopt for Christmas.... Most are single moms struggling to make ends meet... but want to give their kids something for Christmas So we adopted a little girl.... This is the location for drop off.... While I was there I saw a number of bins allocated for this cause.....But the bins are not full yet and we only a few days to go until Christmas....many children & family's are hoping for a helping hand.... Julie Anna told me the program started in her home....She also said some of the people they help are victims of crime.... many different kinds of help are needed.... The building is overwhelming inside....Not sure where one area starts and the next ends... but Julie Anna knows.... She is very friendly and willing to explain what they do there..... it looks like she could use some help.....she was all alone there when I stopped by on Saturday .... My first impression is .... Needs are being met in the community...... they're Trying to keep people fed, clothed, sober and SAFE.. I don't live in this area but I can see the need here....and will make an effort to drive here to give her my future donations..... read more

They do a wonderful service providing the community with support as in food and amazing deals on household supplies and hidden gems. They provide services for everyone. homeless, or low income or in any difficult situation in anyway that they are able to help. They do an amazing job serving the community dispite weather or man power. No matter what they get the job done and help the entire communit. read more

Building up lives foundation is here to help anybody in need. They have food, clothes and lots of other resources for the homeless and for people in domestic situations. The CEO Julieanne will go to court with clients, help with placement and emotional support. Once she and her young daughter were lost, cold and hungry,scared of what could happen to them sleeping in their car. God blessed them to meet the right people to get them the help they needed. Julieanne now has a home and is able to help so many others worst off than she and her daughter were. She takes donations at her new building, donations that go to help the community. Every little bit helps. Thanksgiving day Julieanne and Building up lives foundation is serving Thanksgiving dinner located in Moreno valley, 24441 Sunnymead Bl. There will be turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce and more. Plenty of deserts and good company to share the holiday meal. May you all be thankful for another year of life and an angel like Julieanne to help us through the difficult times.. I am thankful I am able to write this review from the bottom of my heart. Julie ann is a wonderful, beautiful woman with a great of gold. I was with her in the beginning. I first met Julie when I was in need of help with food, she was distributing directly out of her car in the Rite aid parking lot. I was with my granddaughter at the time and she started bcalling her "Food lady" and that name stuck. After a short time I started volunteering helping her pick-up and distributing the food from her garage. I physically couldn't do much, but I talked and listened to people that were hurting and shared my experience with them.bI like to think I helped where I could. I was close to ending things , volunteering and talking with Julie and others saved my life. With Julie's help, and her huge heart I've been able to change things for the better. read more

Came in the other and my Daugther immediately spotted some toys she wanted. Asked for prices and she told me what she wanted to get for them. Prices were slightly higher than other thrift stores but I thought it was ok since she helps out community. When I go pay the prices were raised even more now. I would give ten stars, if I could! I have seen, first hand, how BULF has blossomed from a home-garage outreach, into a full blown, diversified, mission to serve others, in need. From a food bank to clothing (many NEW, from high-end clothing manufacturers!), household goods, baby items, etc, etc. Here, also, one can find help with various social programs. The CEO & Founder is amazing, totally dedicated to helping others, requires no qualifications & there is no judgement! She has helped me by supporting my animal rescue efforts, feeding my streetdog rescues, & fostering bottle-fed kittens, for me.
