However after going to an appointment with Dr Mahan I found her rude and arrogant. I wouldn't recommend going to her and I understand now why people find a doctor they're happy with and stick with them. She was unapproachable and seemed to want me to leave asap and get it over and done with. Quite rude since she was running half hour late already for a 10.00am! Pretty unimpressed.

The doctors tend…read moreto rotate pretty frequently - enough so that I've never really had a regular doctor but a string of random practitioners who I am unlikely to see again. This works out pretty well sometimes as it means I can ask whatever embarrassing medical questions I want with no fear of having to face them again in three months time. On the other hand it's also pretty annoying as it means that you have to catch each doctor up with your medical history each time you go. This practice never seems to be running on time with appointments with very long waiting times even when you booked well in advance. My advice is to book one of the first sessions each morning to avoid this. They have a kids play area in the waiting room and plenty of magazines and books for older people to look at. There's also a small television in the corner to keep you entertained. There's about four or five doctors who work here at any given time so they also accept walk-ins without appointments- however except to wait a really, really long time. On site they have a second building, which is equipped for blood tests, injections and x-rays. The staff in this building are really friendly and very good at dealing with people who are scared of having needles. Despite the waiting around, the service here is generally pretty good and because it's so local to me I really cannot complain.

It's not somewhere you want to visit but when you have to go to the doctors you want to go…read moresomewhere reliable. I choose Jasper Medical as my local doctors. I trust them. I dragged my Mum up there when she was sick recently and I wouldn't trust just anyone with my Mums healthcare. I've always found these guys reliable and professional. There are other doctors very close but I believe these guys are better. Make an appointment during the week but on Saturdays it's just come and wait.

The waiting room can get a little crowded but there's still always somewhere to sit, lots of water, magazines, etc. There's also a separate room for parents with children that has a variety of toys and books, which is awesome if you're a grumpy, sick adult who hates the sound of fun and laughter. The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and have managed to book all of my appointments without any hiccups or scheduling problems. The only downside here is that they don't do bulk billing (so far as I'm aware). They's plenty of parking at the back of the practice, which you can turn into from Inkerman street. In the car park you'll also find a back entrance with a wheelchair accessible ramp. Professional, clean, kind, and friendly. I would recommend any of the doctors here to anyone.
