As a consumer of many different Hospitals, Epworth, Cabrini malvern & Warrnambool Hospital are very efficient on finding a diagnoses & referring you to the correct specialist & treatment, even in a pandemic. Another major hospital I have had experience with in melbourne, were inactive inadequate & inefficient, sadly my husband died, as the hospital was too slow to diagnose his cancer & treat him. It was unfortunate Epworth was on by pass. I highly recommend Epworth the staff really try & show care & compassion.

My experience at Epworth was seamless, from the fast and efficient intake at pre-op, to the amazing, friendly, and super-attentive post-op nurses. The anaesthetist was wonderful, making jokes with me about the US and giving me the tiniest needle possible in order to assuage my fear of sharpies. Procedure started promptly at nine as promised and I was out the door by 1:30. The next day I was called by a member of the nursing staff to check up on my recovery. Not cheap with medicare, but if you have private insurance, this is the place to come for a professional, high quality surgical procedure.

Repeated unecessary appointments are made by these GP's to generate additional appointments which they charge for. There is excessive waiting times, however they are very quick to charge for excessive fees if you miss an appointment. The GP's are constantly changing and few stay employed at this practice for very long. There is very little continuity of care. Some GP's have demonstrated very average clinical assessment skills (I am a health professional myself) Reception staff are robotic and not encouraged to think critically. My complaints fell on deaf ears so I have chosen to make them public. Seriously, if its medical attention you need, go elsewhere!
