Such a beautiful hideaway spot. I guess not too many people have heard of it? Highly recommend. Get for shot hikes. Small waterfall at the end of the water loop trail.

This is our favorite hiking trail we come here often. Our favorite spot is the waterfall. But I hate that they blocked off the area where you could view the actual waterfall. We've gotten some cool shots from that side. A lot of homeless people obviously camp out there at night. We often find clothes and other personal items as we hike along the trails. There are multiple trails that are all loops and lead back to the main entrance. There is a biking trail as well. Everything is clearly marked so it's pretty hard to get lost or turned around. Picnic tables are also at the entrance along with restrooms. Sometimes if we come on a nice day on the weekend the parking is usually full.

Bulls Bay Preserve MTB Trail is a mountain biking trail recently developed in the west side part of Jacksonville, with the assistance of the City of Jacksonville and SORBA.   It is a small, still developing MTB park, that opened up last month (January 2019). The trail is a short 2 mile+ network that consist of fun yet challenging sections. There has been talk that the trail may potentially become a connector trail to another area, which will help increase its mileage. This is still TBD.   As for me, I feel like this trail lacks continuity. The trail basically starts off as a novice trail from entry point, then eventually leads you to challenging, difficult climbs and terrain changes.   All in all, the trail still needs more work. Signs are definitely needed to posted so bikers will know what direction they can ride into.   One positive I can take about Bulls Bay is the trail is not too far to the Jacksonville Baldwin Trail, so you can hop on and continue riding to your heart's content.

I was really hoping for a longer trail for walking this afternoon, but getting outside was still good and the weather was nice. We have driven by this location several times and never noticed it! The parking lot does have a bathroom, but beware it's more like a permanent porta-potty (no toilet paper, not cleaned at all, and it can't be flushed). This park seems to be set up with trails for mountain bikes or dirt bikes to maneuver, however we were only interested in walking and exploring. The "waterfall" is very small, but I expected that, but still a neat little find!

Glad we visited this little park! Several short trails that connected to one another. However, be aware if there are mountain bikers there bc they ride on the same trails as the walkers.

Great place to walk and get out with your pets! Beware of the bugs and bring plenty of water.

It has a small but pleasant nature walk, a kayak launch, a children's playground, an open field, adequate parking, and more. There is a private residence on the grounds, so please be mindful of that. All in all, Alejandro Garces Camp Tomahawk Park is a wonderful park and a great place in particular for the residents of this quiet side street. We need parks like this in our communities. This is a wonderful place to come in respite. I would definitely recommend a visit here, especially if you are in the neighborhood or anywhere in the general area. I will give it five stars as an overall rating. Go check it out for yourself, I am confident that you will not be disappointed.

She continued on by playing with my children but did not have a child with her. A boyfriend was standing and waiting outside of the vehicle just smoking cigarettes. It gave me an uneasy feeling that either she was on drugs or they were involved in trafficking. I have since not gone back. It is a nice park otherwise and it's unfortunate some people have to ruin a good thing. I would just be mindful when you come here with your kids.
