very nice place. my biggest complaint is that the restrlooms and laundry room is NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE !

It's such a shame because the location is great but the RV park is so run down and poorly kept up. The bridges over the ponds that contain alligators, has missing boards and railings. The Trex decking near the laundry room and bathrooms is sinking in and uneven (trip hazard) and the laundry room is absolutely disgusting. The machines are not cleaned, there is slimy build up in the flaps. They have maintenance guys working but all I see him do is drive around in the golf cart never actually working. This campground is unsafe and dirty. We have stayed there for 3 winter seasons and due to the condition this last time we will finding another rv park for our winter getaways. read more

I asked my parents to book this RV site because it has a pool and WiFi. First things first, you have to pay for WiFi. I spent $15 on WiFi for ONE DAY for 7 people because if you make only one account it allows only 3 devices to sign it with it. Doesn't mention anything about that on their website or on here. The plants here and the views are really pretty. The pool was okay, and the one day and night we stayed there we met some friendly people who were staying there as well. The next morning, (40 minutes before checkout time) they were already calling my mom and asking us when we were leaving. Are you serious? Put an earlier check-out time on your business if you want people to leave earlier. It sucks because I recommended this site to my parents, and they treated my mom very crummy. $1000 a month for washed out unpaved roads, trashed amenities, and customer service worse than AT&T. The laundry machines are constantly broken, the gate to the dog park has a gap large enough for my 60 pound dog to get through, and management thinks it's perfectly acceptable to shut off water and electricity with less than 12 hours notice. Don't get trapped here there's a reason for all of the for sale signs and empty lots. read more

I have stayed at many RV resorts in Florida and this one is by far the most beautiful I have been too. The facilities are nice and the staff was on point. April in the office is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and hard working. She went out of her way to help me and has in-depth knowledge of all reservations and the system they use. If there was ever someone to help you find a spot, she would be that person. All of the people I met at this park were very kind and friendly. The resort is beautiful and set around unspoiled nature. Next door is the historic Bulow sugar mill plantation and just south is the scenic drive to Ormond Beach. So peaceful and stunning. read more

They call this a resort? It's more like a trashy trailer park! I booked this site based on the website and amenities. Thousand trials sites we have stayed at have been nice so we wanted to give it a try. We have family in the area to plan to come back often for visits. At booking, we requested a paved and pull through RV site. When we showed up, the site was overgrown grass with debris and tree branches all over. It was an a back in - not what we requested. The fire pit had caution tape on it and the picnic table was old and in disrepair. There was an open paved site nearby that was empty all weekend so I was confused about why we didn't get what we paid for. The trailers with long term campers are unkempt with garbage all around making it look really dodgy. The bathrooms are filthy, smell terrible and have standing water and bugs in them. Thankfully we have an RV with our own facilities! There are lots of older cottages that look like they need some serious TLC. The place has potential but it's not living up to it and I only wish I had more thoroughly read the reviews. The second day we were here a lawn crew came through with a weed whacker right near our plumbing and electrical! When I tried to get the guy's attention to not blow grass all over my unit and possibly damage my equipment, he paid me no attention. I called the office and a manager was supposed to call me, they never did. Upon checking out, I went to the office to speak to someone and give them the feedback, they told me because I didn't book directly through them, that's why I didn't get what I requested and that if I rebooked, I should do it directly through them. They took zero accountability and basically didn't do anything but look at me with a blank stare. Not even an apology. They told me they would send it to management but based on the fact the manager never called back yesterday, I had little confidence. The staff seemed indifferent about our experience and when I told them we wouldn't be back, they could care less! Terrible customer service! Would not recommend this to anyone who is looking for a "resort experience"! read more

This place is a dump! It's unhealthy and dangerous. You cannot drink the water. The electricity is not up to code and is very dangerous. The bridges over the water are rickety and unsafe. The roads have major pot holes (the size of kids swimming pools). The staff is very rude and you will not get any repairs made. It is in violation of many ordianances and is currently under investigations by the city. read more

I enjoy Bulow. They have basic and upscale cabins. There is a pool, laundry area, several showers and there are basic amenities at the office. I have stayed there with my family on several occasions.I really enjoy the atmosphere and the wooded area. Primitive camping is also available. Use your tent, pop-up or RV. read more

Good times. Cabin life living. This RV camp is a CO ed residency and campers Park. Community showers pool and laundry were pretty clean. However there are a lot of mosquitoes because of the stagnant water you are able to see some baby gators, lots of cranes blue cranes, white cranes. It was a great place to stay beaches around the corner, Stores. Did some bike riding. Overall it was a pretty good stay read more

My husband and I are Thousand Trails members so we got to stay a week here "free". I enjoyed our stay very much. The site we had was somewhat private and spacious. The pool was clean and warm. One thing I thought was neat was the walking "trail" they had through the grounds and woods. Definitely would stay again. read more

I loathe encore "resorts". First of all you have to call the corporate office to make reservations, which means waiting on hold for 15min and talking to someone who has never been to the actual park any basically doesn't know anything. So after all that we finally booked a site here just for an overnight stay. $28 WITH Passport America discount which is supposed to be 50%. That means normal price is over $50/night which just makes it even more insane as it's not even worth the $28. The guy at the corporate encore office says they will have a packet at the office with our site etc. I was skeptical as I was pretty sure the office was already closed. However he assured me there would be no one there to meet us but would have a packet with info and would get confirmation email. The place is about 4 miles off i95 and is HUGE! Of course we get there and there's no packet no nothing. The confirmation email simply stated they took my money and good luck. Luckily I asked the guy what our site number was when I had him on the phone. Since the place is so big and we had no map or anything to go off it took us 30min of driving around to find our spot. The roads are narrow and crap filled with huge potholes. The one paved street they riddled with speed bumps. Guess they want to keep the shitty road feel consistent. The place is a trailer park, not an rv park. It's a crappy trailer park with extra rv spots crammed wherever they can. And they've craned a LOT of them. Permanent residents with crap all over their sites, dogs and cats running around loose. Oh and our 30amp rv kept tripping the breaker at the pole. Never had that happen at any other park. The breaker inside will usually trip before the pole. Why anyone would stay here more than once, on purpose I have no idea. read more

We loved this campground! I'm puzzled about the bad reviews. I camped here with our 5th wheel, stayed for mother's day weekend. We had a great time! I've been camping for the past 4 years almost 2 times a month, from Maine to Florida and I can tell this is an awesome campground. I was impressed how spacious every site is. Some sites don't have full hookups, but that's your choice when you book your reservation. Our RV is 36FT long and we had no issues at all with space, turning or getting to our site. I was sceptical about staying here after I saw some of the reviews, and to my surprise, it was almost completely the opposite of what some of the 1-3 star reviews said. Friendly staff, spacious lots, nice clean and family friendly pool, they even have a tavern-bar that opens every night after 7pm. The campground is quiet, clean and the nature all around is beautiful! I noticed some of the bad reviews were left a while ago and for cabins and not RVers, maybe that's why. I will definitely be coming back here, and I highly recommend this campground to any RVers. read more

I love Bulow. Plenty to do. When we visit my Dad we stay there. Clean Pool, cute little cabins to rent. The showers are nice and there are newly renovated bathrooms on site. They allow pets. There is entertainment as well at the Road House Bar - also on site - Bands and Karaoke etc. If you like it there enough there is also a resident section. You can buy a manufactured home and I believe the rent is about $200 - 300 for the land and HOA fees. You can go into the models and see them. Some are really big and on lakes. I think you just go in on your own. Last time I was there they were closed. It's 34 minutes to Daytona Beach (which is not as nice as it used to be but still fun). In the other direction is Palm Coast which is very nice. But there are closer beaches nearby in Ormond by the Sea (about 5 miles ) or Flagler Beach (11 miles).. Also there is a camp ground. When Bike Week goes on they stay there and I have heard that is a lot of fun also. There is a Publix right down the road. In fact plenty of shopping near by. read more

Not bad. But they really don't enforce their own rules. Just went by site 303 and that trailer is everything the appearance guidelines say they don't allow. Either enforce the rules or don't make them. After one month here it is apparent if you want to do as you like and watch people do as they like and no accountability here is the place. No rules no one who cares it's a zoo. No more for us. Go somewhere else if you like peace and some form of order. read more

Dont waste your time or money on this pathetic cesspool. Looks very deceiving from main drag (pretty, nice white fence), main strip kept well, however backroads from roadhouse "bar" are littered with cables restricting access in and out of sites, cars parking in road by said sites making it impossible to pull a rig in and God help emergency vehicles because they WILL NOT FIT! Dirt roads have huge craters that fill deep enough to swim in. Advertising said there was a gym, game room, putt putt course...these do not exist. Bar opens Thursday Friday and Saturday from 7pm to whenever the lazy bartender decides to close and he caters to friends instead of guests. Children are allowed to use the 2 dart boards, 2 pool tables, and 2 or 3 old video games....until 830 when they are told to leave...this is not something I will visit again. No thanks. read more

If you can actually get a spot here, don't! We were here 5 months and they gave us 2 day notice to leave as they booked our spot to someone else without telling us, leaving us homeless. The office staff is rude! People let their dogs run off leash and bite people. Office doesn't care about any of the loud all night parties and drunk people. People come through your camp and steal things. We were out of power for two weeks and nothing was done by office staff. We were charged 800 one month and 2000$ the next with no warning and not on an event month! I am disgusted at the office staff and management is absent. The laundry facility is never cleaned with used sanitary napkins in machines and on floor. Every washer/drier is out of service and steals your money. This place should be shut down! read more

Great find...People in the park and employees are awesome. Bathrooms and showers are clean and water is hot!!!! Very pleased with the decision to stay here....With the Roadhouse in middle of park it's nice to be able to get a beer, play pool and meet people and be able to walk home. Pet friendly also.... read more
