Over the years, I've spent $100s at this place. Waterpipes, bowls, blunt wraps, cleaning supplies,…read moreetc., etc. The service is generally friendly and courteous. It's locally owned, so it is the first place I go to because I like to keep things local whenever I am able. This latest experience however has left a very bad taste in my mouth... I've never had a personal-sized vape device that holds bud, so I bought one there for around $80. The girl who sold it said I could use a regular phone charger since the device comes only with the USB cable. Within two weeks, the device failed. I searched online for troubleshooting, and found this is a very common occurrence. Hoping to just swap it out for another unit, I went back to Rolling Fire to discuss the matter. Immediately, upon mentioning the issue, the man told me that I have to contact the manufacturer because Rolling Fire is a Buyer Beware shop. The last time I was at a "No Refunds or Exchanges" place was at a flea market. This guy operates his business as if he is at fly-by-night flea market table. He is a part of the community. He can't just up an move his business so he should be good to the people who keep him open. He told me I used the wrong kind of charger. I told him I used what the girl who sold it to me recommended and he just shrugged his shoulders and pointed to the "No Refunds or Exchanges" sign. I asked the guy if he could just contact his supplier because he's clearly buying faulty units and this is bad for business, but he just kept referring to their Buyer Beware policy. I realize this is partially my own fault for thinking I could speak some sense into the guy, but Rolling Fire does not back up their products at all. A business that doesn't stand behind what they sell is not worthy of my hard-earned funds. Anyone looking to buy something mechanical should seriously look to ebay or other online sellers. It would have cost them next to nothing to call the supplier to ask for a replacement. Not only that, but Rolling Fire would have gained loyalty from me that is difficult to break. Instead, they get scorn. Sadly, I will not be setting foot inside that store and will share this tale with anyone else looking for head shop supplies.

When I did not hear anything from my sister a contacted a 2nd sister who was helping, she said no flowers arrived, I emailed shop who responded first thing (7am) saying when she gets to shop she would call me. The tried to deliver twice and when no answer second time they left on porch. Manager personally went to deliver a replacement and called me back saying that there was no response. I described house and location and she went back on her way home. She found the original delivery and brought both to my sister who now has 2 beautiful bouquets. So I had to get back to Penn-York to have them refund the sales tax. "Gee, I can't imagine how you ended up being charged sales tax," my sales person eventually told me. He blamed it all on a computer glitch. I'd almost be willing to pay $200 just for the courtesy of not being yelled at when I called to point out that mistake. "I bill is wrong. I got charged more than I was supposed to..." I began. "I told you! If you paid with a credit card it would be an additional 3.5%!" my salesman yelled before I could explain the situation. "No, I was charged tax. I'm almost certain you told me that there would not be any tax because it was medical device." "There is no way you were charged tax!" "Well, I'm looking at my receipt, and there is a box labeled 'sales tax' and that box has $200 in it.'" Then there was some run around where first I'd get a refund check, then I was told they couldn't do that--the money would be refunded back to my credit card--and then it went back to sending me a check. At one point in the conversation I said something like, "Well, before you erroneously added $200 to my bill for tax..." and the lady I was talking to said, "How dare you say we did that erroneously! It was a simple error!" I had to say, "Lady, the word 'erroneously' means 'in error'." Gee, get an SAT review book and start studying some vocabulary words. Take my advice.
