After a little searching I came across Bumble Bee Baskets and thought their website looked nice so I tried to call them. The line didn't ring and immediately disconnected, and did the same thing a couple more times. I clicked on the contact option on their website, jotted off a note letting them know their phone didn't work and asking that they contact me and then waited. And waited. After giving it more than 24 hours, I tried the number again and got through. The phone was answered by a woman who sounded as though I interrupted her nap. When I explained that the line might have been down yesterday so I sent an email through their site I was told that they "don't check the email". I guess they don't really need the business then. It's a shame because I usually send gifts 4-5 times a year through florists and other businesses near that town and was looking for something a bit different. Back to the florist I suppose. One star for a cute website but that's about it.

I visit every so often when I'm in town simply because of how cute it is. I was happy to see they sell some local products, like a hot sauce I previously found at the Ithaca Farmer's Market. Their book selection is also charming - I spotted a bathroom check-in book for guests to fill out, which I thought was such a fun idea.
