The kids were outside all day, with a packed schedule of fun activities like kayaking, canoeing, archery, laser tag, yoga, dancing, and paddleboarding to name a few, not to mention fair like games and rides during free time. It was nonstop fun, and he loved connecting with old friends and making new ones. The counselors were incredible, so patient, positive and full of energy. A huge thank you to Jim (AKA Cardinal), the coach for the Bears group this past week! He made the week unforgettable, and my son won't stop talking about how much fun he had and how awesome his coach was. You can also buy food from them (catered daily from nearby restaurants) which is a huge bonus for kids like mine who aren't into cold sandwiches. We just finished 8 weeks back to back of incredible summer camps, and this was definitely a top contender for my kid. We will be back, and I 100% recommend Camp James.

My kids that were were enrolled were 10 and 8. Kids must pass a swim test before participating in the water activities. They had some science classroom time and water time where they sailed, kayaked or was in a pontoon boat. The camp counselors and were great. They were also very accomodating to one my other kid who had so much fear being in the sail boat or kayak. The counselor took him under his wing and got to ride the motor boat with him. While the kids are out in the water, they do have camp counselors out in motor boats that follow them along. It's really cute to watch! Overall pretty safe and really fun for the kids. It gets them outside sailing. Definitely recommend this camp! Especially if you live out near this area where there are so much water activities.

There is no comparison to modern public or even private school these days, because Seashore would win by a landslide. My child has only attended Kindergarten so far but will continue until 8th grade, because I've witnessed first hand how the rest of the kids all operate on campus; for example, visiting a public school is like seeing little feral zombies running around, but the Seashore kids appear to possess critical thought naturally due to the customization for each child, paired with a screen free environment. Most days my kid is coming home and continuing to practice what he's learning.
